This antenna provides the best possible performance Stubby Antenna An optional 3 stubby antenna is available. This antenna will reduce the performance of the radio. Standard Battery A non Impresss battery is the standard battery supplied with a portable. Impress Battery An optional Impress battery is available. The Impress battery is a Smart battery and provides advanced battery management services. D 17
18 Intrinsically Safe Battery An optional Intrinsically Safe battery is available in non Impress or Impress types. An IS battery is FM approved for use in a hazardous environment. Standard Charger A non Impresss battery charger is the standard charger provided with a portable. This charger should not be used to charge Impress batteries. Impress Charger An optional Impress battery charger is available. It can be used to charge non Impress and Impress batteries. To take advantage of all features provided by an Impress battery, you must use an Impress charger.
