The integrate low power 3-bit MCU, 8-bit ADC, built-in high resolution temperature sensor and.4ghz ISM Band RF transceiver. The support coin type battery for small form factor and can achieve longer usage time by its low power consumption. The solution need only few discrete components and is easy to use for human body temperature monitoring application. The is available in a WQFN-3L 5x5 package. The maximum allowable power dissipation depends on the thermal resistance of the IC package, the PCB layout, the rate of surrounding airflow, and the difference between the junction and ambient temperatures. The maximum power dissipation can be calculated using the following formula : P D(MAX) = (T J(MAX) T A ) / θ JA where T J(MAX) is the maximum junction temperature, T A is the ambient temperature, and θ JA is the junction-to-ambient thermal resistance. For continuous operation, the maximum operating junction temperature indicated under Recommended Operating Conditions is 5 C. The junction-to-ambient thermal resistance, θ JA, is highly package dependent. For a WQFN-3L 5x5 package, the thermal resistance, θ JA, is 7.5 C/W on a standard JEDEC 5-7 high effective-thermalconductivity four-layer test board. The maximum power dissipation at T A = 5 C can be calculated as below : The maximum power dissipation depends on the operating ambient temperature for the fixed T J(MAX) and the thermal resistance, θ JA. The derating curves in Figure allows the designer to see the effect of rising ambient temperature on the maximum power dissipation.
