11 Industry trends and E-GNSS availability Multi-GNSS: Multi-constellation (e.g. GPS/Galileo/Glonass) is rapidly becoming the baseline. 13 How can GNSS enhance E112? GNSS and A-GNSS are good candidates to ensure a precise caller location: In outdoor, GNSS (including A-GNSS) is the most accurate, especially in rural/ open sky conditions (where network based techniques may degrade because cells are fewer than in the city) Cost effective, being (mainly) handset-based and the cost of receivers now negligible Multi-constellation mass market GNSS (e.g. GPS + Galileo) provides average 5-10 meter location accuracy in the cities and less than 5 meters in rural areas (outdoor; even without assistance data)

16 How can Galileo enhance E112?
