Press the Program button on the back of the handsender. The system will stop stepping for a moment to confirm the handsender is erased, then will continue stepping. Continue programming or exit program mode by pressing the Program button on the motor.
2.4 GHz Tubular Motor Programming (Roller Shade & Gemini) To Erase All Programming 2. Press and hold the Program button on the motor for approximately 15 seconds. The system will give a long jog in one direction and stop. The motor will automatically exit program mode.
2.4 GHz Traversing Motor Programming (Drapery & Panel) Part #: Description: Motor, 24V DC, Panel Power Rating: 24V DC - 0.6A (15V Battery) Recommended Supply: ABC-11-W or ABC-13-W Max Pulling Force: 6.6 lbs Chain Speed: 2.5 in/sec Operating Temperature: F Max Channels to Pair: 32 Channels Physical Weight: 8.2 ounces (0.5 lbs) In order to program the motor, the system must first be connected to a power source. Note: 2.4 GHz motors are initally programmed via a programming button located at the head of the motor. Alternatively, you may enter programming mode via the Single Select feature, however, this only works if the intended motor is already learned to the handsender or the motor has not been learned to any handsender (factory default). Note: It is possible to program multiple motors simultaneously by placing all intended motors in program mode, then learning the handsender and channel. Calibrating the System The Panel and Vertical systems do not require limit settings due to an auto-calibration function. Calibrating the system is the first thing you need to do before proceeding with other programming functions. 1. To calibrate, press the Program button on the motor. The system will run end to end and then stop. The limits should now be set. Learning a Channel 1. Press the Program button on the motor and the system will begin to step back and forth. 2. Select the desired channel on the handsender and press the Program button on the back of the remote. You likely need a pen or paper clip. 3. Continue to other program functions or exit program mode by pressing the Program button on the motor. Once exited, the motor will stop stepping.
2.4 GHz Traversing Motor Programming (Drapery & Panel) Reverse Motor Direction 2. Select the appropriate channel on the handsender. 3. Press and hold the Left and Right buttons on the remote simultaneously for approximately 3 seconds. The system will stop stepping for a moment to confirm the change is set, then will continue stepping. Continue programming or exit program mode by pressing the Program button on the motor. Toggle Momentary/Maintain Option 2. Press and hold the Program button on the motor for approximately 3-5 seconds. The system will give a quick jog then continue stepping. Continue programming or exit program mode by pressing the Program button on the motor. To Erase Handsender from Motor 2. Select the appropriate channel on the handsender. 3. Press the Program button on the back of the handsender. The system will stop stepping for a moment to confirm the handsender is erased, then will continue stepping. Continue programming or exit program mode by pressing the Program button on the motor. To Erase All Programming 2. Press and hold the Program button on the motor for approximately 15 seconds. The system will give a long jog in one direction and stop. The motor will automatically exit program mode.
How to Enter Single Select Program Mode Single Select mode can be used to identify and program motors without using the program button located on the motor head. This mode will cycle through motors that are currently learned to your handsender, or are still in factory default mode. Single Select WILL NOT place motors learned to other handsenders in program mode. 1. To enter Single Select mode, hold the Stop button on the front of the handsender while pressing the Program button on the back of the handsender. You will need a pen or paper clip. 2. The handsender will now enter search mode and look for any motors within the listening range and place the first-recognized motor into program mode. While in search mode, the LEDs on the handsender will cascade up and down. If the located motor is not the one you desire, press the Right or Left button on the remote to cycle to another motor. 3. Once your desired motor is located, perform any programming functions you require. 4. You can exit Single Select mode at any time by quickly pressing the Right button twice. 1. Select the desired group channel on handsender. Programming Groups Multiple motors of different types can be programmed together in a group (or multiple groups). For best performance, BTX recommends grouping systems by operating direction (lifting systems together and traversing systems together). This is due to the fact that operation of these systems varies from Up and Down to Left and Right. Setting a Group 2. Press the Program button on each of the motors you want to group together. All systems should start stepping. 3. Press the Program button on the back of the handsender. All systems should stop stepping for a moment to confirm the channel is learned, then continue stepping. 4. Press the Program button on each motor to exit program mode.
433 MHz/2.4 GHz SuperLink Lit. Code: INST-CL-RM Programming Guide Product Overview Key Features The SuperLink is a device that translates radio signals for 433 MHz and 2.4 GHz operating platfor ms. One small device can serve a room full of systems and has a maximum range of up to 100 feet. With its compact design, the SuperLink can be placed in a hidden location in the area. The SuperLink is key in bringing BTX s wide range of systems together under one complete control solution. Press the Program button on the back of the remote. You likely need a pen or paper clip. The motor should jog for confirmation. Operating 2.4 GHz motor with 433 MHz Control 433 MHz 2.4 GHz The motors will operate normally using the Open, Close, and Stop buttons on the remote. Additionally, the intermediate settings can be controlled using the A, Center, and B buttons. The singular exception for standard control is with the 2.4 GHz vertical blind motor. To operate the vertical system completely, it is necessary to pair the motor to two channels. One channel is used to tilt the vanes, the second channel is used for traversing the vanes. The standard configuration when using this control setting is to have titling by default. For traversing, the SuperLink will convert the Up and Down ( Open and Close ) buttons to the Left and Right functions as used by the 2.4 GHz controls.
