The primary SSB ope rating fre que ncy of the county hunting ne t is MHz, and is conside re d the ne t home fre que ncy. A se condary ne t usually is in ope ration at MHz, e xce pt be twe e n 1545 to 1700 UTC, whe n it move s to MHz. O ccassionally, mobile ope rators will shift to othe r bands. The usual fre que ncy on 75 mete rs is MHz, while 15 and 10 mete rs are at MHz and MHz The C W ope rating fre que ncie s of the C W ne t can be found at MHz on 20 mete rs and on 40 mete rs. The fre que ncy on 30m is The se ne ts are not as active but put out a call, and someone will usually come back. The abbre viation "C HN" is use d to de signate the ne t. COMMON FREQUENCIES The plan for activity has always be e n (since starte d) to conce ntrate activity starting from the bottom e dge of the IARU RTTY bandplan, e xpanding upwards as activity incre ase d. The e xce ption is in the 10 mts band in orde r to give non full privile ge s ham to meet. It was de fine d as 150 Hz above it. Ke e p in mind that all you ne e d is about 100 Hz as channe l se paration. The se re commende d fre que ncie s are in accordance with the IARU bandplan for re gion 1. The re may be diffe re nce s for re gions 2 and for re gion 1 and re gion 3, and for re gion 2 * of 10 06/22/ :26 PM
