The receiver can work with 50R 2.4GHz antennas. Any type of antenna can be used helical, clover leaf, dipole etc.

Supply voltage 6..18VDC Navigation button 5 position navigation button (Up/Dn/Left/Right/Enter) main control for choosing working mode, scanning frequencies, settings etc. LED1 (Blue and Red) Blue LED is indicating video signal presence. Red LED indicating active receiver in Diversity mode. LED2 (Blue and Red) Blue LED is indicating video signal presence. Red LED indicating active receiver in Diversity mode. Operating modes: Diversity mode both receivers always have the same channel selected. Both AV outputs OUT1 and OUT2 output signal from the receiver module which has better reception. The MCU selects receiver module which will be used based on the sophisticated algorithm using video signal recognition, RSSI and other factors. Independent mode Each receiver module can be controlled independently via navigation button and display. Each module outputs AV signal to its dedicated output OUT1 and OUT2 respectively. Receiver works as two independent receivers with two antennas and two independent outputs. Each module can be set on each own frequency. Spectrum Analyzer mode Radio module 1 constantly sweeping channels and collects data with dynamic indication data on the display and radio module 2 works as a video receiver with video output to OUT1 and OUT2. Indication on display: When unit is powered on it enters Diversity mode by default. This is the main operating mode. Below is the screen in Diversity mode right after power ON. Note: Receiver remembers last used channel and when it is powered on again it stays on the last used frequency. To enter menu press ENTER (click on navigation button)

3 Menu and options: 1. Channel scan. During channel scan the receiver scans all 40 channels, collects RSSI data and shows it on display in graphical form. It shows 4 frequencies with highest RSSI. If it is a valid video signal it will show small letter v between channel number and corresponding frequency. These frequencies will be used for the fast channel selection (when skip channels with low RSSI option enabled) After channel scan press Enter and receiver will return to main menu having channel with highest RSSI assigned as active channel. 2. Diversity mode In this mode both receivers always have the same channel selected. Both AV outputs OUT1 and OUT2 output signal from the receiver module which has better reception. The MCU selects antenna(receiver module) which will be used based on the sophisticated algorithm using video signal recognition, RSSI and other factors. It gives you a choice to use to use different antennas in different situations and receiver will chose which one is better. For example you can use a high gain directional

4 antenna with one receiver and omnidirectional (dipole or clover leaf) with the other. The antenna which has better reception in particular situation will be selected. During active antenna change you will hear a beep. Controls in diversity mode: Up/Down Changing channels up/down consequently (A1,A2 A8, B1,B2 etc. ) Left/Right Jumping between channels that only have high RSSI level. Enter enter the main menu 3. Controls in Spektrum Analyzer mode: Up/Down Changing channels can be consequently (A1, A2 etc.) or by jumping on the channels with high RSSI only. You can choose either option by selecting option Skip low RSSI in menu On or Off. Left/Right Jumping between 4 channels that have highest RSSI level during current scan. Enter enter the main menu. Red LED on antenna 2 shows that video is sourced from this antenna. Blue LED shows that RSSI on current channel is high. 5. Skip Low RSSI Having this option On makes receiver jump only on the channels with high RSSI during channels selection. The option works in Independent and Spektrum Analyzer modes. 6. Next Next screen of menu 7. Exit Exit from menu mode. 8. Batt Max maximum voltage for your battery. It will be used to show a battery level in Bar mode. 9. Batt min - Setting Batt Min is very important. This is your low voltage alarm. If battery voltage is lower than Min voltage you set the receiver will beep and the battery bar (or voltage numbers whichever is chosen) will blink. Please read or calculate the lowest working voltage range for your battery and enter it. For 3 sell Li=Po battery it is recommended to set 10.3V as the lowest voltage. It will give you some battery power and time to fly back and land safely. 10. RSSI mode Bar/Digits shows RSSI level in bar representation or in percents 11. Batt mode Bar/Digits shows battery charge in bar representation or volts. 12. RSSI beep On/Off in Diversity mode generates beep when changes active antenna.

6 Troubleshooting: 1 Problem: Receiver finds channels during scanning Blue LED is ON on active channel but no video on the monitor or goggles 2 Receiver cannot find channels or picture quality is poor 3 Receiver finds active channel and the picture is mixed with another picture Solution: Check AV cable and monitor settings/input selection Check antenna/ antenna connector/transmitter Another transmitter works at the same channel. Coordinate channels with your fellow flyers. 4 Device stopped working or doesn`t work as described (display turned off or characters are corrupted, no video out, no control etc.) Recycle the power.
