There is designated as being f histric r architectural value r interest the features f the real prperty mre particularly described in Schedule "A" and shwn n Map "A" attached heret, and knwn as the Ber War Memrial. 2. The City Slicitr is hereby authrized t cause a cpy f this By-law t be registered in the prper Land Registry Office against the lands described in Schedule "A" attached heret, which are lands affected by this By-law. 3. The City Clerk is hereby authrized t cause a cpy f this By-law t be served upn the wner f the afresaid prperty and n the Ontari Heritage Fundatin and t cause ntice f the passing f this By-law t be published fr each f three cnsecutive weeks in a newspaper having general circulatin in the City f Sarnia. 4. 3 SCHEDULE "B" In 1902, a cntingent f veterans f the Ber War came t Sarnia, frm Windsr, Ontari, with the express purpse f seeing a mnument, in the frm f a drinking funtain erected in Sarnia, t cmmemrate thse men frm Lambtn Cunty wh served in the Ber War ( ). The Ber War Memrial Funtain was erected in Victria Park in 1908, having been made pssible thrugh the dnatins by schl children and citizens f Lambtn Cunty ver a six-year perid. The name f each man wh served in the Ber War frm Lambtn Cunty is engraved in the cap f the mnument, alng with the Suth African lcatins where they served. The captin n the face f the cap reads "erected by the schl children and citizens f Lambtn Cunty". The funtain has std fr 90 years in cmmemratin f thse wh served in the Ber War and shuld be dedicated as a histrically significant site.
