Operting instructions for trnsport ion getter pump source J s:! r : ~ ill ill ill!ti ii ~ " The trnsport source is used for pumping ny vcuum system with diode type ion getter pumps (with positive voltge supply) during trnsport. The source llows to power vcuum pumps with the working voltge of 5 kv nd the totl current up to 100 µa. The source is using the 9 piece LR14 btteries with totl nominl voltge of 13,5V. After connection of the HV output cbles t the ion pumps switch on the min switch. The opertion is indicted by the wek whistling (the height of the tone is dependent on immedite current of the vcuum pumps) nd by flshing the lights on the Pnel. The first 1 O s one red nd one green light is flshing nd then only some of the three green lights is lso flshing, tht indictes the totl current in both pumps in the fields of 0-10 µa, µa, or µa. f there is n excess of totl current over 100 µa (or short circuit), the source is utomticlly shut down for period of 1 min during tht the red light is flshing. Then the source tries to strt gin. f the source is in use, it is possible to press the button (by the pproprite instrument) with the BATTERY mrk to disply the bttery sttus. The red light flshing mens the criticl btteries dischrge (the voltge < 9V) nd they need to be replced s soon s possible. The source utomticlly turns off if the bttery voltge flls below 6.5 V. When using lkline btteries nd the totl current of pumps is 20 µa the source cn work of bout 16 dys. This period my lso be dversely ffected by temperture. WARRANTY CONDTONS SAES gurntees tht the Products delivered shll be free from opertionl nd mteril defects nd shll comply with the construction nd functionl dt nd specifictions indicted in the Contrctul Documents. This wrrnty shll hve term of TWELVE (12) MONTHS. For Products which require instlltion t BUYER's fcility by SAES personnel, the wrrnty shll hve term of TWELVE (12) MONTHS from the dte of instlltion or FOURTEEN (14) MONTHS from the dte of delivery, whichever term is shorter. Subject to the reminder of this Article 14, ny ction by BUYER for ny lleged brech of this wrrnty shll be brought in writing by BUYER within thirty (30) dys of BUYER's discovery of the brech. This wrrnty shll only pply to the BUYER nd my not be ssigned. During the term of the wrrnty set forth bove, SAES will promptly repir the Products which for their fetures cn be repired nd which do not conform to the specifictions nd which BUYER returns to SAES t the ddress provided. Unless otherwise greed nd specified, BUYER shll be responsible for ll trnsporttion chrges incurred in returning Products to SAES for repir; BUYER shll hve obtined Returned Mteril Authoriztion ("RMA") number nd specific shipping instructions from SAES prior to its shipping of the Products to SAES. SAES shll not unresonbly deny BUYER uthoriztion to ship Products to SAES. SAES shll return repired Products to BUYER, with trnsporttion chrges prepid by SAES, unless otherwise greed.
