Shipping is requested to pass at safe distance /150(T) PORT OF NIEUWPOORT - ENTRANCE CHANNEL - TEST SETTING REMOVED - PASSAGE WIDTH 35 M REMAINS In the framework of the project of the storm flood barrier in Nieuwpoort, the test setting is removed in the week of 28/5/2018. The passage width of 35m with depth up to -3m LAT is marked by twice 2 piles with lights. The area at the height of the former test setting will be a working area during the following years with use of floating equipment and temporary constructions along the entrance channel. This must be taken into account by tuning to VHF-frequency 13.

These lights will be regularly moved in function of the progress of the works.. In the working area, during the following years, floating equipment will be used and there will be temporary constructions along the entrance channel.
