3 2 LUXO Carelite Carelite is our latest development in bed head luminaire technology and design. It has a covered spring balanced arm for easy cleaning and for safe and easy positioning. An integrated ergonomic handle makes operation easy even for patients with handicaps The aluminium reflector gives precise light control, and the lamp is protected by a diffusing lens. The ergonomic handle has an integrated illuminated switch and reading/ night light intensity switch (where applicable). Carelite comes in three variants: tungsten lamp, 18W high frequency compact fluorescent and 18W high frequency compact fluorescent with two step adjustment of light level. Being a truly modular system, Carelite comes with an arm for wall/ceiling and a wide choice of brackets and mounts. Carelite being an arm based reading light can be positioned exactly where the light is required. This is important in multi bed wards where it allows one patient to have his reading light on without disturbing other patients in the ward. 5 4 LUXO - Circus Medical 8332 Circus is eminently suitable for demanding work in hospitals, clinics, laboratories or as a tool for people with impaired vision. A large lens, self balancing arm and highly flexible shade neck makes it ideal for examinations. Circus is approved as a medical device according to IEC and IEC It is a great tool for examinations and outpatient treatment and as a supplementary luminaire in any doctor s office. It is the most advanced illuminated magnifier on the market. It utilizes the latest lamp technology using a high intensity 22W circular T5 tube with very good colour rendering capacity. The tube is operated by a high frequency ballast eliminating flicker and prolonging lamp life. Circus has a very large lens of ø165mm giving a large field of view with a very narrow frame around it. The large lens permits comfortable viewing with both eyes. A circular light source is the ideal way of illuminating an object, virtually eliminating shadows. Carefully designed reflector optics give a very high light intensity at focal distance. Circus has a highly flexible self balancing shade neck. The shade neck can be positioned horizontally, vertically and laterally making the luminaire very flexible for most examinations. The fully covered spring balanced arm makes it easy to position the luminaire and makes cleaning easy. A hinged lens cover is standard. It protects the lens from dust and prevents the luminaire from inadvertently focusing the suns rays. 2 different swing away attachment lenses of 4 and 6 diopter are available.

6 5 LUXO - LFM Medical The low heat output of the lamp and the versatility and robust construction of LFM medical makes it a great tool for patient examination and treatment at a very competitive cost. LFM has several features for additional patient safety including safety fuses on the primary side. LFM medical is approved as a medical device according to IEC and IEC The magnifying head is made of ABS polymer, combining light weight design with high impact strength. The ø127 mm glass lens is positioned in the middle of the circular fluorescent tube, the ideal way of illuminating an object, virtually eliminating shadows. It is highly flexible, positions exactly where it is needed and provides one of the best levels of colour rendering in it's class. AIM-50 has a crisp, clear, white light of 3100K combined with an extremely high colour rendering index (CRI) of 98. The overlapping multi reflector design provides excellent shadow reduction. The result is a homogenous light, even if the light intensity is reduced by obstructions. If a lamp burns out the two remaining lamps will work as backup, making sure the procedure can be completed without interruption. It is available in floor stand, wall mount and single or double ceiling models. The effective working distance between luminaire and patient is from 0.6 to 1.0 metre. The removable handle (which also serves as lamp focus control) is suitable for autoclaving and accepts pre-sterilized covers. It is ideal for minor surgery, procedures and examination of patients, providing the best working environment for efficient, comfortable and safe procedures. It is highly flexible, positions exactly where it is needed and provides one of the best levels of colour rendering in it's class. AIM100 has a crisp, clear, neutral white light of 3700K combined with an extremely high colour rendering index (CRI) of 97. 9 8 LUXO - Coolspot 2 CoolSpot II is a unique product in it's range and offers a very compact head with high intensity output, with a choice of beam diameter and colour temperature. These features make it perfect for obstetrics and gynaecology, dermatologists, plastic surgeons and emergency rooms. The 150W halogen lamp and advanced optical lens system creates a uniform light field with a clear cut off. Intensity and size of the spot can be adjusted. Maximum illumination at 0,6 metre is lux with a colour temperature of K. A filter can be rotated into position to give a colour temperature of K. CoolSpot II is part of a total lighting system. It can be wall mounted, ceiling mounted as a single or double unit Or mounted on a floorstand. Combined with Outpatient II it has the performance of a minor operating system. Double parabolic louver in Micro 5 aluminium with top reflector in Micro 4. Medicus is supplied with a sealing strip between housing and frame preventing accumulation of dirt and dust particles. The lower side of the luminaire is covered with a tempered glass sheet or clear acrylic in a hinge down frame. Supplied as standard with HF ballast. Also available as HF dimmable.

14 13 LUXO - Patientlite 8550 Patientlite has a smooth, modern design that virtually eliminates dust traps and makes cleaning easy. A wide variety of lamp configurations make Patientlite suitable for many applications within the health sector where a wall mounted luminaire is needed. Patientlite utilizes the latest optical designs for maximum performance. A distinctive cut off of the downlight provides a pleasant reading light for the patient without creating glare and discomfort for other patients or staff. The ceiling is evenly illuminated by the uplight component. The uplight and downlight can be controlled individually using wall switches, pull cords or other switching devices. Dimming control can be added for uplight or downlight. Options include additional night light. 15 14 LUXO O202 - Outpatient Outpatient II is a superior choice for value. The overlap design of the lamps provides excellent shadow reduction. The result is a homogenous light, even if the light intensity is reduced by obstructions. It is ideal for procedures and examination Three 50W halogen lamps are focused by a central, removable and autoclavable handle. It provides a large diameter illumination field of lux at 0.6 metre. The lamps are wired in parallel so if a lamp fails the two remaining lamps will continue working, making sure the procedure can be completed without interruption. Outpatient II is part of a total lighting system. It can be wall mounted, ceiling mounted as a single or double unit, or mounted on a flexible floorstand. Combined with Coolspot II it has the performance of a minor operating system. All arm systems are spring balanced for maximum flexibility. 16 15 LUXO Wave Medical 8318 The large rectangular lens, 175 x 108 mm, permits comfortable viewing with both eyes. For additional magnification, secondary lenses can be fixed to WAVE plus in seconds. A 10D swing way lens is also available. WAVE medical is approved as a medical device according to IEC and IED It is the only magnifier to offer both shadow free magnification with light coming from both sides, as well as three dimensional magnification with light coming from the left or right. By illuminating from one side only, depth perception is increased and positioning of tools in the magnified area is made easier. The neck joint between the head and arm moves in three planes: horizontally, vertically and laterally making exact positioning easy. A cloth cover is provided to protect the lens from dust and prevent the lens from inadvertently turning into a burning glass.

17 16 LUXO Accessories B Wall Bracket The B-bracket is a basic wall bracket that works with all LUXO wall version luminaires. It is not recommended for plaster walls AH-Table Clamp Standard table clamp. Included with all our table version luminaires (Black) (Grey) (White) BSP Wall Bracket The best overall solution for wall mounted luminaires. The luminaire is retained in the bracket with a spring mechanism and can only be removed using tools. A 130x130 mm square steel back plate with 4 fixing holes distributes weight evenly across the wall. Trolley A trolley is the ideal solution when luminaires might be used in several locations
