1 Epson rtisan 1430 IMPORTNT: efore proceeding, ensure the correct Epson printer driver and rtainium UV + MacProfile have been installed. For assistance with profile installation, refer to the Installation Guide. Photoshop Workspace Setup 1) egin by opening Photoshop. In the menu bar, click Edit > olor Settings (see FIGURE 1). 5 rtainium UV + : Epson rtisan ) When opening or importing images in Photoshop, you may encounter a Missing Profile or Embedded Profile Mismatch warning. For the Missing Profile instance, select the radio button for ssign current working space: dobe RG (1998) and click OK to continue (see FIGURE 7). For the Embedded Profile Mismatch instance, select onvert document s colors to the working space and click OK to continue (see Figure 7). In the menu bar, click Image > Mode > RG olor. check mark should now be visible beside RG olor (see FIGURE 8). FIGURE 8 PGE 5 of 9 >>

6 rtainium UV + : Epson rtisan 1430 Printing from Photoshop with the Epson rtisan ) With the correct color settings entered, you are now ready to print. In the Menu ar, click File > Print. Printer: EPSON rtisan If necessary, click the drop-down arrow to view olor Management options. olor Handling: Photoshop Manages olors D. Printer Profile: Select the appropriate Sawgrass Profile a. Epson 1430 New: sg_1430_rt_rg_mac_v1.0 Improved color profile delivers accurate photo images and vivid colors for graphic designs and images. b. Epson 1400 lassic: sg_1430_rt_rg_mac_lassic_v1.0 Similar to the profile of the previous generation Epson 1400 rtainium UV+ solution, the Epson 1400 lassic profile allows replication of legacy prints with minimal color variation for seamless transition when upgrading to the Epson 1430 rtainium UV+ solution. NOTE: If the profiles are not visible in the drop-down menu, try restarting Photoshop. If the profile is still missing after restarting the application, refer to the Installation Guide. E. Select: Normal Printing F. Rendering Intent: Perceptual G. If not already, check lack Point ompensation H. fter all of the correct settings have been entered, click the Print Settings... button. NOTE: For older versions of Photoshop you will instead select Page Setup. a b c FIGURE 10 a. Printer: EPSON rtisan 1430 b. Paper Size: The size of your transfer paper c. Remember to Mirror the image before printing. You are able to do this within the OEM printer driver or you may choose to manually mirror each image within Photoshop. Select Save urrent Settings as Preset beside Presets: (see FIGURE 12). Name your new preset accordingly and click OK to save your settings (see FIGURE 13). a FIGURE 13 b D. ack in the Print window, click Save to save all of the necessary settings and return to the print screen (see FIGURE 12). Remember to, if necessary, convert imported graphics to the dobe RG (1998) working space, ensure the RG color mode is checked and select the Epson rtisan 1430 each time you print.
