1 Spring 2013 Interclub Print Competition Final Standings Reported by Arthur S. Vaughan, MNEC NECCC Print Chairman The spring inter-club print competition was held on April 8, 2013, hosted by the Charter Oak Photographic Society, Inc. in West Hartford, CT. Olive Weingart, APSA, HonNEC served as the event organizer and coordinator. The judges for this competition were Barbara Krawczky, PPSA from the Westfield Camera Club and the Springfield Photographic Society, George Landis, PPSA from the Charter Oak Photographic Society, Inc., and Stan Murawski from the Wallingford Camera Club. Serving on the competition committee in various roles were Audrey Weigold, APSA, HonNEC, Meredith Harris, Cindy Gosselin, MNEC, Paula Fink, Aaron Nguyen, Lou Landis, Jan Chambers, and Gene Suponski. Many thanks go to the folks who assisted in carrying out the tasks involved in running the competition, to all the club members and visitors who were in attendance, and to the Charter Oak Photographic Society, Inc. for accepting the invitation to serve as the host club for this event. A total of 156 prints were submitted: 48 in class A B&W, 28 in class B, and 80 in Color. Participating were 21 clubs: 12 in class A, 8 in class B, and 21 in Color. A total of 23 prints received awards: 6 class A, 6 class B, and 11 in Color. The top scoring clubs for this season are: B&W Class A : Milford Camera Club, with 254 points. B&W Class B : Camera Club of Oxford greens, with 243 points (moves to class A next year). Color: Fall River camera Club, with 258 points, and Flagpole Photographers, also with 258 points. Members are reminded that all prints awarded first, second, or third place this season are eligible for entry into the Interclub Print of the Year Competition, being held on the evening of May 22nd, 2013 at the Merrimack Valley Camera Club in North Andover, MA. Instructions for submitting prints are attached to each 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place award ribbon tag. Results of the three competitions and final standings are:
