Not to say that words aren t important. What you say on your website, social media channels and print ads certainly helps to market your spa. But a great pho- to will get guests in the door faster. Plus, attractive, engaging and informative photography may also make the difference between capturing media coverage and getting passed over. It was a wonderful experience for me to work with him in the kitchen of his restaurant located in the North of Siem Reap, just 5 minutes from town by tuk-tuk. I had the opportunity to take pictures of the restaurant and some of his creative dishes. Between you and me, I can confirm that they are not only beautiful as I tasted some for you... Anyway, the food is so spectacular that I had to recreate the ambiance of the place around the dishes. Flowers, raw ingredients, composition and very soft light are the best ingredients for the eye but for the taste it is better to ask Pola.

11 20 Régis Binard Photography Régis Binard Photography 21 THE VILLAGE OF OUR DREAMS Traditional wooden khmer houses are usually disseminated in the country... but in Siem Reap, just 5 minutes from the old market there is that place called Sala Lodges where you can find 12 magnificient traditional houses. It is just wonderful to be their photographer. Architectural photography is typically created from either the exterior views of buildings, or in the interior of buildings. The techniques used in each of these types of photography are similar. Exterior architectural photography usually takes advantage of available daylight or uses ambient light at night. In many cases, the landscaping surrounding a building is important to the overall composition of a photograph. Interior architectural photography can also be performed with ambient light transmitted through windows and skylights, as well as interior lighting fixtures. For the best images, I need to be patient and wait for the perfect light following architectural photography rules.

Often, I work for hotels having already a few pictures from other (good or not so good) photographers. Each photographer as his own style, his own eye so it usually much better for hotels to work with the photographer having the style they like the most. Moroever, a full package is cheaper option than hiring a photogarpher 3 times; the first time for Architecture, the second time for Food and finally for the Spa while it can all be done in one package. If you are ready to open your new hotel or if you wish to refresh your images, you must really consider that and then you will get the best images with the syle you like the most.
