2 ABOUT RAIN IN CHERRAPUNJI Cherrapunji, the land of rain. Amidst the blue rolling hills of Meghalaya, Cherrapunje (or locally called Soha) is one of the most popular landscape photography destinations of the country. Lush green vegetation creats a different chemistry with the grey clouds of the sky here. Here innumerous mountain streams and waterfalls make it a whole new world that offers unique opportunities for landscape and macro hunters. In this 3 nights and 4 days photographic journey we will watch, experience and shoot different things and will learn to shoot things differently. We will learn field techniques in the outdoor session and in our indoor sessions we are going to discuss topics like the basics of photography, how to manage exposure, what equipment should we choose depending on different subjects, basics of landscape Photography, basics of landscape Photography, basics of composition and also we will learn to make our photographs attractive and presentable using postprocessing techniques. 3 THE PROGRAM Day Thrusday GUWAHATI - CHERRAPUNJI 09:00 Hrs Pickup from Guwahati Railway Station/Guwahati Airport and transfer to Cherrapunji. (Have lunch en route.) 15:00 Hrs Reach Cherrapunjee. Check in to hotel. 16:00 Hrs Outdoor photography session. 19:00 Hrs Short introductory session on basics of photography, nature photography and shooting macro. 21:00 Hrs Dinner. Day Friday CHERRAPUNJI 05:00 Hrs Visit different places for Landscape and Macro Photography near Cherrapunji. 10:00 Hrs Return to hotel. 14:00 Hrs Post lunch outdoor photography session. 19:00 Hrs Discussion on field techniques and choosing the right equipment. Introduction to post processing tecniques. 21:00 Hrs Dinner. Day Saturday CHERRAPUNJI 05:00 Hrs Whole day do photography outdoor. acro Photography near Cherrapunji. 18:00 Hrs Return to hotel. 19:00 Hrs Discussion on field techniques and choosing the right equipment. Day Saturday CHERRAPUNJI 05:00 Hrs Morning outdoor photography session. 09:00 Hrs Return to hotel, have breakfast and pack your uggage. 10:00 Hrs Start for Guwahati. have lunch en route. 06:00 Hrs Reach Guwahati railway station/airport. 7 COST DETAILS Cost per person: 18,500/- + Govt. Service Tax. Cost includes: Accommodation in twin share basis. All food (B/L/D) All transfers and visit to photography destinations. Arrangement of indoor workshop. Resource Persons. Cost excludes: Train ticket/airfare. Bottled water Cost of personal habit or any other personal expenses. 8 TERMS & CONDITIONS 1 The Registration would be valued only after a 100% advance of the tour cost. 2 We do not own any Hotel, do not control or operate any Airline / Railways / any other services. Although we try our best to arrange and recommend the best services, yet we do not hold any responsibility for the performance of all / any of the services provided by service providers or for any dissasfacton, delay, accidents, injuries, loss of life, property, document/s & baggage/s, flight/rail delays, reservations, transportation, insurance, cancellations, suspensions or any other eventuality / irregularity and also for any consequences arising out of natural calamities, strikes, breakdown of any facility, act of omission and commission. It is understood that the client/s shall not bring, make or raise any action, demand or claim in any respect whatsoever against us, our Employees or Directors or Partners or Proprietor. 3 We do not carry any independent / additional liability to any client beyond the liability which is reimbursed to us by any hotel, airline, tour operator or other concerned agencies. Under all circumstances our liability shall be limited only to the amount received by us in this regard. 4 General Cancellation Charges: 10% on or before 30days from the commencement of tour date. 30% between days from the commencement of tour date 100% before 10 days from the commencement of tour date. 5 In case of any claim / dispute the Courts at Kolkata, West Bengal, India only shall have the Jurisdiction. 6 Refund: No refund will be made for any unutilized or partly utilized services of any nature. Any refund due to the client's on account of cancellation and for changes made in the booking or on any other account will take minimum 30 to process the refund. 7 All Tours / Services are subject to the Rules and Regulations of the company, Government of India, Reserve Bank of India or such other rules & regulations as may be applicable. 8 We reserve the right to cancel the tour before the date of departure. In such case we shall be liable to refund only the amount paid by the client/s without any interest. 9 No other service/s will be provided which are not mentioned in the inclusion part. 10 Rates are subject to change without any notice. 11 While all efforts are made to ensure availability / accuracy of the information through our communications or through our Brochures, website etc., we accept no responsibility / liability for any errors or omissions.
