1 Start Here XXX Set up your and print no computer required! Note: To print from your computer, see Using With a Computer and your CD after completing these steps. Unpack comes with all these items in the box. Remove all the tape and packing material from, including the plastic film on the photo viewer screen. Power adapter Photo Paper Deluxe Viewer Edition Power cable Photo Cartridge Using Without a Computer booklet Software CD + Using With a Computer booklet Note: If you purchased the optional Deluxe Viewer Edition battery, see Using Without a Computer f instructions. Make sure you install the photo cartridge and plug in the AC adapter and power cable befe installing the battery. Caution: To avoid damaging your, keep it out of the sun and don t leave it in your car other location where it can get too hot too cold. *009800* *009800* Printed in XXXXXX XX.XX-XX XXX
2 Install the Photo Cartridge Open the cartridge do on the back of. You see the release lever. Release lever Move the lever to the Release position by sliding it in the direction shown. To release lever Shake the photo cartridge a few times in its package, then unwrap the cartridge. Slide the cartridge straight into the slot, label side up, until it is fully inserted. Push in both sides evenly to make sure it is not crooked. Caution: Make sure both sides of the cartridge are even, ink may leak. If either side is sticking out, remove the cartridge and reinstall it. Right Wrong Move the lever right to the Lock position. If it does not lock in place, the cartridge is not installed crectly. Release it and try again.
3 Close the cartridge do. Make sure it snaps shut. If the do does not close completely, the cartridge is not installed crectly. Remove it and try again. Flip the handle to the back of and all the way down. Load Paper Your comes with photo paper made especially f it. Caution: Don t load print on plain paper; this may damage. Flip up the photo viewer screen. Open the paper suppt. Pull up the paper suppt all the way. Open the output tray. Note: Make sure the paper suppt is fully extended and the handle is all the way down. Place your paper against the right edge, with the glossy side up. Load up to 0 sheets at one time. Slide the edge guide against the paper. Note: Keep unused paper in the iginal package and ste it flat to prevent curling.
4 Plug In and Turn On Connect the power cable to the power adapter. Plug the small cable into the back of. Plug the other end of the power cable into a standard power outlet. On button to turn on. On button gets the cartridge ready f printing. After a few minutes, you see a message that is ready. Insert a Memy Card Remove the memy card containing photos from your camera, then follow these steps: Flip down the memy card do. Insert your memy card into the crect slot. Top OK button. You see this message on the photo viewer screen: SmartMedia xd Picture Card xd Picture Card Type M When Print All is highlighted on the screen, you can print all the photos on your memy card. green Print button twice. To select individual photos, follow these steps: button to highlight Print Some. OK button. You see your first photo on the screen: If you want to print this photo, press the button to select the number of copies. button to see the next photo on your card. If you want to print it, press the button to select the number of copies. Repeat step f all the photos you want to print. When you have chosen all the photos you want, press the Print button. You see a Print Confirmation: Middle SD (Secure Digital) mini SD * MMC (MultiMediaCard ) Do one of the following: If you want to start printing right away, press the Back button. Then go to section. Sony Memy Stick Memy Stick Duo * Memy Stick PRO Memy Stick PRO Duo * MagicGate Memy Stick MagicGate Memy Stick Duo * Bottom button. You see a list of layout settings: Push the card in until it stops (it won t go in all the way). The memy card light comes on, and tells you how many photos are on the card. Memy card light Note: Insert just one card at a time. does not 9 read multiple cards at once. button to highlight the layout you want to use most often. Then press the OK button. OK button again to move to the Col Effects setting. Repeat steps and 8 to select the col, date stamp, time stamp, and print mode settings you want to use most of the time. button to review the photos Print button again to start printing.
