1 MIFFLIN ELEMENTARY - FIRST GRADE School begins Thursday, August 16, 2018 at 9:00 a.m. Student supplies for first grade: (1) plastic school box (1) pack of colored pencils (2) 16-pack of crayons (1) headphones (for computer lab) (2) boxes of tissues (4) glue sticks (2) bottles of Elmer s school glue (white) (1) bar eraser (1) pack wide, washable (Crayola) markers (8 or 12 pack) (1) set of water paint (Prang or Crayola) (1) pair blunt-tip scissors (2) highlighters (3) two-pocket folders (yellow, red, green) (2) wide-lined, 1-subject notebooks (any color) (1) pack low odor, dry-erase markers (2) plastic shopping bags (1) small plastic container (for math money) ** Please label all of these supplies with your child s name** Math Money: Students will need to bring in 25 real pennies, and 10 real dimes. 3-dozen sharpened Number 2 pencils (regular yellow or orange only) Boys: 1 box of quart Ziploc bags, 1 tub of Clorox wipes Girls: 1 box of gallon Ziploc bags, 1 large pack of baby wipes **Please do not label the coins, bags, regular pencils, or wipes** (We will be sharing these items as an entire classroom.)
