Hope you are all happy and healy. The board met on March 14, and ere is a lot going on at I would like to tell you about. First off, Laura Erickson has been hard at work and will have our current membership list available at our next meeting for ose who would like a copy for eir personal use. Also, e board decided to invite past members who have not yet joined and potential new members to join our guild for e rest of e year for only $15.00! So, if you haven t joined yet, or would like to, now is a great time. Pass e word! The next board meeting is set for May 8, so if you would like to join us or have questions, concerns or even constructive criticism for e board, please let us know. We also talked a lot about our next show which, alough not till e end of September will be here soon. The contract for e Knights of Columbus hall has been signed, so at is all set. We still need some volunteers, alough many of you have signed up already, ank you. We need a coordinator for Staffing for at weekend. This person will probably be passing out a sign up sheet and calling people a couple of weeks or a few days ahead of time to set up a time for when people can help make our quilt show a success. We also still need a chairperson to contact vendors. I don t know about you all, but I love e vendors as much as e quilts! Also, Jean Marie Havrilla is hard at work on our donation quilt, which is going to be spectacular. But we really need someone to coordinate when and where e quilt will be shown around town to sell tickets for our major fundraiser. This will in large part pay for our speakers next year. Please consider helping wi is. Later on I will also be asking for someone to help receive e quilts at e show, several people to help wi setting up e show, and someone to coordinate e door prizes, so ink about ose opportunities as well. I also wanted to let you know about a fabulous quilt/art show now showing at Fuller Lodge Art Center. It is really incredible. The challenge to e Studio Art Quilters of New Mexico was to make a quilt at was only 24 inches wide and no more an 36 inches long, and at represented any or one of e four elements: wind, fire, water and air. Taken individually ey are great, but as a show ey are incredible. Please take some time to go see it! The Art Center also now boasts a new wood floor at really sets of e quilts, at I have been told has been very long in e coming. The show will hang until e April 15. The Round robin challenge continues in our newsletter as well, are you keeping up? It only gets better and better. And don t forget e challenge issued by e Art Study quilt group as well. Details for bo are in your newsletter! Thanks for all you hard work and keep sewing! Nicole
