2 CUTTING 1. From fabric 1 cut: 2. From fabric 2 cut: 20 x 3½" x 3½" 30 x 1¾" x 1¾" 3. From fabric 3 cut: 4. From fabric 4 cut: 30 x 3⅞" x 3⅞" cut in half diagonally once from bottom left to top right 5. From fabric 5 cut: 40 x 3½" x 3½ 6. From fabric 6 cut: 49 x 1¾" x 9½" MAKING UP THE BLOCKS You have two blocks for this quilt, both are the same for the makeup of the triangles and squares. You have two colours for the large triangles Lay out the fabric pieces for your blocks as in the diagram Sew in rows - triangle, square and then square. Next row triangle and square, sew the two rows together and then add the last triangle. Now sew the two triangles together to make a square Sew 5 in total of each set 1, 2, 3 and 4

3 MAKING UP THE QUILT TOP Lay out the sashing, small squares and blocks as in the main diagram Sew in rows, start at the top with small square and then sashing. On this row press your seam to the right, on the next one to the left. Keep doing this to each of your rows BORDERS Sew your strips to the sides and then the top and bottom COMPLETION Make quilt sandwich with quilt top, wadding and backing Pin or baste layers Quilt as desired Using fabric 2 strips double bind edges of quilt Lewis & Irene 2018
