1 Omniverse Setup Instructions Hello Omni customer, Please follow the steps outlined below to get your Omni ready for Omniverse! Let us know if you have questions or issues at any time at 1. Configure your Omniverse account 1. Visit and enter your account and password provided to you by your Virtuix representative. Upon successful login, please change your password by selecting Modify Password in the account menu on the top right of the screen. 2. On the left side of the screen, click My Omni 3. On the right side of the screen, click the Add Omni button 4. Enter the information for the first Omni in your shop and then click Add. 1

2 Note, the Omni serial number can be found on the Advanced Tab in Omni Connect (see download link in Section 2) on each Omni PC. (tip: double-click on the serial number to automatically copy it to your clipboard). Note, the requested Device Order No. is the unique logical device number (1,2,3, ) that you want to assign to each of the Omni(s) in your shop (at your choosing). 5. If the Omni is added successfully, Omniverse will display the following prompt: 6. Repeat these steps to add all the Omnis in your shop. 2

3 2. Install Omniverse and calibrate your Omni Download Omniverse via the link on your Omniverse home page: After the download is complete, double-click on the Omniverse installation program and follow the instructions in the prompts to install Omniverse on your computer. When installation is complete, Omniverse will restart and the 2D menu will be displayed. On the initial run, Omniverse will prompt you to perform a calibration of the Omni. When prompted, click Calibrate to start the calibration process. The system will guide you through the calibration process. 3

4 From the 2D menu shown below you can install games in Omniverse. In the game list, games that are downloaded are noted with a green check mark on the game icon. Games that are not yet downloaded are noted with a purple download symbol on the game icon. Note: All games should be downloaded before launching any game or tutorial as downloads are paused during gameplay. To download and install a game, click on the game icon in the game list. The game details screen will be displayed. Click on the download icon in the top right of the screen. The download will start and the current percentage of the download will be displayed 4

5 3. Configure SteamVR for an optimal Omniverse experience 1. Verify that you have the latest Steam VR version: i. Go to SteamVR->Help->About SteamVR. Verify SteamVR is the most current version. Note: version may be newer than what is shown below. ii. If SteamVR is not up to date, install the latest version: 1. Go to the Betas tab in SteamVR Properties page and select beta SteamVR Beta Update in the pull down. 2. Allow Steam to download SteamVR beta. 3. When complete, go to the Betas tab in SteamVR Properties page and select NONE Opt out of all beta programs. 4. Allow Steam to download SteamVR. 2. Ensure that SteamVR Home and VR Dashboard are disabled: i. Go to SteamVR -> Settings -> General and uncheck SteamVR Home Beta : 5

6 ii. Go to SteamVR -> Settings -> Developer and uncheck Enable VR Dashboard : 3. To avoid issues with your screen resolution, set your screen resolution to 100%. i. Right-click on your desktop, go to Display Settings ii. Set your size to 100%: WE HOPE YOU ENJOY OMNIVERSE! THANK YOU! 6
