Fabrication materials include 8620 grade bearing steel, alloy and carbon steels, bronze, brass, and corrosion resistant stainless steel. GBC pins and bolts are manufactured from high-grade materials. Each product is precision-forged, heat-treated to specification and, when needed, finish ground to ensure a perfect fit. Our entire selection of pins, bolts, and chrome shafting are manufactured to increase toughness and assure the longest service life possible. Our process allows the head, core, and fastening area to remain ductile for superior wear. All threads are rolled to assure grain continuity and greater strength made to aircraft standards. GBC bushings, bearings, and sleeves are made from material produced exclusively in US mills. All items are carbon enriched and heat-treated in an atmospherically controlled furnace to create a hardened surface with a strong ductile core qualities required for maximum wear. General Bearing s product warranty covers materials and workmanship for three years from the date the products are supplied to you against your purchase order. If a General Bearing product is determined to be defective due to material or workmanship and such a defect is reported to General Bearing within the three-year warranty period, General Bearing Corporation will, at its option, accept the return of the defective product for replacement or refund of the purchase price.
