This paves the road for new possibilities in part design and the repeatability without spring-back is very high. The participants get to know the basics of hot stamping and find out which metallurgical processes determine this technology by means of sound training manuals. We provide you with comprehensive expertise in the area of die design. Starting with an existing component geometry we demonstrate step-by-step how the geometry and the functions of a hot stamping die are shaped and met. Together we look at virtual engineering methods of FEM and CAD. We will also focus on the cooling of hot stamping dies which is a crucially important function. Design rules, possible errors and the selection of different die materials are also parts of this seminar. The seminar program is rounded off by real live case studies.
