At the end of 2017, the new EDM machine for the Tooling division arrived; Reko s new logo was introduced; the Reko Rising 455 project was well underway; and we rolled out our new website and new phone system! 2017 was a busy year, and we look forward to an even busier It is with excitement and anticipation that we look forward to all the opportunities, challenges and celebrations this year will bring! 2 REKO ANNOUNCES ITS 25 TH CONSECUTIVE PROFITABLE QUARTER Reko s first quarter experienced lower volumes of work due to delays in program kickoffs, stated Diane Reko, chief executive officer. 4 SOCIAL COMMITTEE CHILDREN S CHRISTMAS PARTY On Sunday, December 3, the Social Committee held it s first Childen s Christmas Party - even Santa attended! The Social Committee put the party on with proceeds from their fund-raisers, so thanks to everyone who supported the fund raisers throughout the year. Jennifer Reaume from Windsor Photo Booth was on hand to take pictures of the kids and families with Santa. REKO IN THE COMMUNITY Junior Achievement World of Choices The team spoke at the Junior Achievement World of Choices event held Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at the Fogular Furlan Club. Junior Achievement is Canada s largest youth business education organization. This specific event brings female high school students together with career mentors to explore different career paths. Annual Musketeer Collection Thank you to everyone who helped to make this year s support of a local family through the Musketeers a huge success! Your gifts and monetary donations gave this family a wonderful Christmas. Thanks to Jenna Knapp for ALL the gift wrapping she helped with! Special thanks to Greg Denomey for coordinating this event every year, and to his family who help with the shopping, wrapping and delivery.
