1 Teri LaBove Candidate for VCC President My name is Teri LaBove. I am seeking the office of President of the Village Card Club. I would appreciate your vote. I have lived in the Village and been an active member of the Village Card Club for 15 years. I have served on the Village Card Club Board of Directors in the capacity of Member Services chair for two consecutive terms (4 years). I also served as the Program Director for 1 term (2 years). Both of these positions allowed me to be a voting member of the Village Card Club Board. I worked directly with other members of the Board of Directors, the Club Manager, Game Directors and non-sanctioned Coordinators. All of my efforts have been toward maintaining a friendly and enjoyable atmosphere at the Village Card Club. I am a Game Director, Accredited ACBL teacher and Easybridge! Presenter. I coordinated the Mentoring program for 3 years. I recently retired as Tournament Chair of the DeGray Sectional Tournament after 12 years. More recently, I cochaired the Spring Fling Sectional Tournament at the Village Card Club in I share the goals of many at the Village Card Club and have worked over the years to make those goals a reality. A friendly and enjoyable place for members and visitors to come to play this GREAT GAME OF BRIDGE! With your support and vote, I look forward to serving as the President of the Village Card Club.

2 Greg Bono Candidate for VCC President Hello, I am Greg Bono and I am a candidate for President of the Village Card Club. I have actively participated in the Village Card Club since My VCC experience has been varied and includes: *Chairing the 2005 audit committee, *Serving on the mentoring committee and Education committee, *Served on The Silver Lode and Spring Fling tournament committees * Serving on the Media development and External advertising committee. *Member of Unit 161 Board *Served as a mentor, and a Bridge teacher. Prior to moving to HSV, I worked for 30 years at The United Way of Greater New Orleans and retired as the Chief Operating Officer. My United Way responsibilities included fund raising, fund distribution, along with Health and Human Services Agency evaluations and finance. If elected I will focus on unifying our club; insuring we have a positive atmosphere for socializing and having fun as well as providing for challenging bridge games.

3 Doris Waugh Candidate for Vice President I am Doris Waugh. I am asking your vote for Vice President of the VCC for for Nine years ago, I moved to the Village from southern California. While living in California, I served on Unit 534 as Vice President and a Board Director. During that time, I also ran a local Sectional for three years. In 2009, I served as secretary for the VCC under Dick Condon's Presidency and I am presently serving as Vice President. After playing here at least twice a week, I wish to work to have the Card Club attempt to be a FRIENDLY SOCIAL BRIDGE CLUB.

4 Tony Hoffman Candidate for Vice President Gold Life Master I moved to the village a year ago and have been very active in the club activities. Teaching Easy Bridge 3 weeks after I arrived, I have been involved with the program all year. I have also been directing in both the open and limited games and am active in the Mentor program. I created an eight week course for intermediates which has been taught to over 40 students in two separate series. My bridge club experience goes back to the 70 s when I owned a club in Michigan. Organizationally I developed a nonprofit 85 table club in Palm Springs California in 2008 and was very active in the growth of the club. Not only am I a Gold Life Master and Cruise Director, I am a certified teacher for the ACBL, the Audrey Grant Method and Easy Bridge. I am a guest lecturer at Regional Events. I am running for Vice President because I feel I can bring new ideas to the Board of Directors and will support the new President with enthusiasm in implementing his/her ideas as we move forward to making a great club even greater. My background in the direct response business for the past thirty years: directed, hosted and creating, both infomercials and direct short form commercials since 1983, gives me an insight into dealing with all types of people.. My 800 person Company ($13,000,000 annual payroll) was responsible for over $950,000,000 in television and retail sales of products first seen on TV. I have worked with time buying companies, retail marketers, print/space advertising companies and syndication companies. My negotiating skills (I wrote a best seller on Negotiations in 1983 published by Simon and Schuster which made #6 on the New York Times Bestseller list), hopefully will help the club in its upcoming negotiations on a new lease in the years to come. Having Chaired the Visiting Nurses of Los Angeles Charity Drives for ten years and chaired the Rick Weiss Charity Golf Tournament for eight years gives me an insight into working with non-profit organizations. I hope you will consider me for your next Vice President.

Early 1970s The above work history gives me extensive background and knowledge of budgeting, financial planning and reporting, general accounting procedures, statistical records, banking, auditing, computer operations, correspondence, meeting agendas and minutes, flow of information, personnel supervision including payrolls and reports, major equipment purchases, maintenance and repair of space and equipment, space design, organization and management skills, problem solving and working well with others. 7 Donna Branson Herter Candidate for Communications Director Donna Herter s accomplishments include a successful career with an advertising agency and as a corporate marketing executive with AT&T, an international telecommunications corporation. During her tenure at AT&T, Donna held various marketing positions in strategic marketing and consumer marketing, and worked for the publishing business, wireless business and corporate marketing. Donna has directed product strategies, directed new product implementations, designed advertising programs and managed public relations. She has a degree in marketing and graphic design. In addition to a successful career, Donna has been active in the community. Donna was an ambassador for the St. Louis Symphony and later a volunteer for the San Antonio Symphony. She was a volunteer childcare provide for the St. Louis Crisis Nursery and captain for corporate fund-raising for the St. Louis Symphony. She served on the board of directors for the LPGA State Farm Classic in Springfield, Illinois and Professional Women in management at AT&T. She was Tournament Director for a Charity Golf Tournament in San Antonio. Currently she is a member of Village Pines Garden Club where she is a committee chair and has also served on the board. She has designed and created various print materials for the garden club. Donna joined the VCC board as Communications Director in May She is running for a two-year term in that position.

As a contributing VCC Board member I will work to implement a vision for some fundamental structural changes in the club that will help us attract and retain our most qualified people to serve in senior club positions.
