He was a resident of Colorado for the last 37 years of his life and worked as a power system dispatcher and later in utility advertising and public relations until his retirement. He was a member of Montrose Lodge #63 and was initiated an Entered Apprentice on November 30, 2007, passed to the Degree of Fellow Craft on April 26, 2008 and was raised to the sublime degree of Master Mason on February 25, in Montrose Lodge #63. Bro. 2 Michael Good 32º was born on June 4, 1959 in Colorado Springs, CO to Roger Lee and Betty June Good on June 4, He graduated from Niwot High School. He was a Veteran with eight years of service in the United States Navy. Michael was passionate and dedicated to his Masonic Lodge and totally dedicated to the Shriners and the Scottish Rite. He enjoyed working benefits and parades with the Shriners as a clown making young children and adults alike smile and laugh. Michael was known for his kindness and generosity. He affiliated with Montrose Lodge #63 in 2012 and was passed to the Fellow Craft Degree on July 31, He was later raised to the sublime Degree of a Master Mason on October 2, He became a 32º Scottish Rite Mason and was made a Master of The Royal Secret on May 2, Brother Michael Allen Good passed away on March 30, 2017 in Montrose Colorado. 3 Lee Fred Hale 32º was born in Beeville, Texas on September 15, 1930 to Johnny Lee and Alice Hale. He married Linda Hargrove on Aug. 4, Fred owned and operated Fred's T.V. and Appliances in Lake Jackson, Texas for many years. Fred and Linda moved to Colorado in 1989 where he received his real estate license and also worked for Albertson's in Durango. Brother Fred was a member of Durango Lodge 46, where he served as Worshipful Master in He was initiated an Entered Apprentice on November 11, He was passed to the Fellow Craft Degree on November 29, 1990, and was raised to the sublime Degree of a Master Mason on January 12, He Joined The Ancient Accepted Scottish Rite and was made a Master of the Royal Secret on May 6, Fred affiliated with The Valley of Grand Junction on April 30, He was the presiding officer of the York Rite Council, Chapter. and Commandry, and a longtime member of the Al Kaly Shrine Club. He served as past President of the Tin Lizzie's Unit and was past President of the San Juan Shrine Club. Fred's devotion to his Masonic brotherhood and fellow Shriners was only surpassed by his love and devotion to his family and friends. 4 Fahey Doc Law 32º KCCH was born on September 20, In 1946 he enlisted in the U.S. Navy as a hospital man. He used his G.I. Bill to attend the University of Minnesota, where he began a degree in Chemistry. He reentered the Navy, during the Koran War and later completed his education, earning his degree in dentistry. In 1957 he relocated to Glenwood Springs, CO. where he established his dental practice. Doctor Law served eight years on the Glenwood Springs City Council and later dedicated ten years to the Library Board. Brother Law was a member of Glenwood Springs Lodge #65. He was initiated an Entered Apprentice on January 19, He was passed to the Fellow Craft Degree on February 2, 1955 and was raised to the sublime Degree of a Master Mason on February 19, He served his Lodge as Worshipful Master in 1974 and served The Grand Lodge of Colorado as District Lecturer from 1993 to Brother Law was a York Rite Mason and presided as Grand Commander of the Knights Templar in He joined The Grand Junction Scottish Rite Bodies, becoming a Master of the Royal Secret on November 15, 1967, and was honored to receive the distinction of Knight Commander Court of Honor in Brother Law is survived by his wife of 62 years, Arlene Law, and his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. 6 George William Volk 32º was born on Ragged Mountain, March 28, 1922, to George and Marjia (Tezak) Volk. He was a lifetime resident of Ragged Mountain, attending Spring Creek County School House in which he rode a horse to school. Brother Volk was a member of the Hotchkiss Elks Lodge, co-founder and first president of Delta County Livestock Association and the founder of Ragged Mountain Water Association. In addition, he was on the Colorado Range Management Committee, the Gunnison County Planning Commission and Outfitter Association. Brother Volk was a member of Paonia Lodge #121. He was initiated an Entered Apprentice on January 5, He was passed to the Fellow Craft Degree on February 2, 1953 and raised to the sublime Degree of a Master Mason on March 16, He served his Lodge as Worshipful Master in He received his fifty-year Masonic Service Award on November 1, He Joined the Scottish Rite of Grand Junction, Colorado and was made a Master of the Royal Secret on November 26, George is survived by his son, Gary Volk and spouse, Gail of Eckert, CO; two grandchildren and three great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Margaret; his second wife, Betty; his daughter, Margo; two brothers; three sisters; and one granddaughter. Brother George William Volk 32º died Dec. 11, 2017, at Delta County Memorial Hospital. He was 95 years old.

7 John Charles ( Jack ) Whitlock, Jr. 32 KCCH was born on September 7, 1924 in Fairmont, WV. At age 17 he misrepresented his age to obtain employment with the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad. With the outbreak of WWII, he joined the U.S. Marine Corps, serving in the Pacific Theater on the Aircraft Carrier Shangri-La as an anti-aircraft gunner where he fought off Japanese Kamikaze attacks during the Okinawa campaign. At the War s end, he was a member of the first American contingent to occupy Japan. After the war, he returned to employment with the railroad as a trainman and conductor until his retirement after 40 years of service. After retiring from the railroad, Jack moved to New Mexico and then to Olathe, CO, where he continued to farm until his move to Grand Junction in John was initiated as an Entered Apprentice on January 26, 1948 in Highland Lodge #184 in Baltimore, Maryland. He was passed to the Degree of Fellow Craft on March 22, 1948; and raised to the sublime Degree of Master Mason on May 24, In 1953, John was made a 32 Master of the Royal Secret in the Baltimore, Maryland Consistory, and in 1961 was conferred with the honor and distinction of Knight Commander of the Court of Honor. He later held membership in the Santa Fe, NM Consistory and the Grand Junction Consistory, of which he was a member at the time of his passing. He was also a member of El Jebel Shrine and the Western Colorado Shrine Club and past patron of the Delta Colorado Order of The Eastern Star. Throughout his life he gave generously of his time and money to the support of those in need, including the Shrine Hospitals, the Rite Care Speech-Language Clinics, and other Masonic charities. John Charles ( Jack ) Whitlock, 32 KCCH died at the age of 92 on June 3, 2017.
