1 FILE NO. 05 ORDINANCE NO. 1 [Settlement Of Lawsuit] 3 Ordinance authorizing settlement of the lawsuits filed by one hundred and one 4 individual plaintiffs, in two separate lawsuits known as Rooker, et al. and Weaver, et al. 5 against the City and County of San Francisco, for $86, in back overtime wages, 6 $137,951.8 in interest payments and $378, in attorneys' fees and costs; the 7 Rooker lawsuit was filed on March 9, 1999 in United States District Court, Case No. 8 C VRW, entitled Rooker, et al. v. City and County of San Francisco; the Weaver 9 lawsuit was filed on June 7, 000 in the United States District Court, Case No. COO VRW, entitled Weaver, et al. v. City and County of San Francisco. 1 Be it ordained by the People of the City and County of San Francisco: 13 Section 1. The City Attorney is hereby authorized to settle the actions entitled "Rooker, 14 et al. v. City and County of San Francisco, United States District Court, Court No. C VRW" and "Weaver, et al. v. City and County of San Francisco, United States District Court 16 No. COO-71 VRW' by the payment of: (1) $86, in back overtime wages; () 17 $137,951.8 in interest payments; and (3) $378, in attorneys' fees and costs. 18 Section.
