1 Notification Schedule for Skill Test for the shortlisted candidates for the post of Lower Division Clerks Written test held on Scoring pattern / standard is as mentioned below for the posts of Lower division Clerk (Annexure-I) 2. List of Candidates for the typing skill test is as per Annexure II 3. Candidates appearing in the skill test for the post of Lower Division Clerk MUST have the following in original : a. Affidavit as per format attached at Annexure-III b. A Valid Photo Identity Card recognized by Government of India (any one of the following) - PAN Card - Voters ID Card issued by Election Commission of India - AADHAR Card - Driving Licence - Passport - Photo Identity Card issued by State / Central Government. Photo Identity card issued by private firms/schools/ colleges WILL NOT be considered valid. c. One recent Passport size Color Photograph 4. If a candidate fail to produce a valid photo identity proof, Affidavit, and photograph at the typing skill test centre, his/her candidature will be summarily rejected and no communication in this regard would be entertained under any circumstances. 5. 2 Annexure I Lower Division Clerk Typing Skill Test Minimum typing speed for English*- 35 words per minute (w.p.m.) [Corresponding on an average of 5 key depressions for each word] for Hindi*- 30 words per minute (w.p.m.) [Corresponding on an average of 5 key depressions for each word] (That means candidates having typing speed less than above mentioned standard, will be treated as failed candidates hence they will not be considered for next stage of selection process) Candidates having sufficient speed according to above mentioned standard, will be declared qualified to be considered for next stage of selection process. To give due credit to candidates having better typing skill, following criteria will be used to calculate their score in the skill test. To prepare final merit list, both written examination score and skill test score will be added up. Details of methodology of Skill Test and evaluation thereof are mentioned hereunder: 1. Typing test will be conducted on Desktop PC only. 2. Test will be of 10 minutes duration. The candidates who quit before stipulated 10 minutes will be treated as failed. 3. In case of obstruction or stoppage during this 10 minutes duration [after start of the test] due to any mechanical problem or due to any other unforeseen circumstance beyond control, candidate may immediately inform about that and may appeal to stop his or her test and retake the test de-novo after the obstruction is removed. Concerned authorities at the spot shall consider such candidates eddecisionwithin oneappealhourandif a candidates appealfoundedis thenconsideredsuchcandidatewill betoallowedbeto w re-take the test de-novo which will be conducted after completion of regular test of all other candidates. 4. Material to be typed will be given to the candidates in the form of hard copy (paper).

3 5. After completion of the test print out of the output of each individual candidate will be taken and mandatorily be signed by candidate and invigilator both. Photo copy of this signed print out will be given to the candidate also for the sake of transparency. 6. Net Typing Speed will be calculated on the basis of total number of correctly typed words / key depression. Counting will be done manually so that it can be verified and re-verified. Rules applicable to calculate Net Typing Speed (NTS) are enumerated hereunder: (i) Only correctly typed words / key depressions will be counted. For misspelt words incorrect key depressions will be deducted. (ii) Words or clauses or sentences which are unnecessarily repeated will not be counted. (iii) Words or clauses or sentences which are out of sequence in comparison to sequence in the given material will not be counted. 7. The entire process of skill test will be under video surveillance.
