1 For Immediate Release June 22, 2015 Contact: Dianne Martin Vice President/Director of Communications TENNESSEE BANKERS ASSOCIATION ELECTS NEW LEADERSHIP Sevierville Banker to Lead Group David Verble, president and chief executive officer of Citizens National Bank in Sevierville, TN, was installed as chairman of the (TBA) during ceremonies at the closing banquet of the organization s recent Annual Meeting. Almost 600 members of the financial services industry and related businesses attended the convention, which was a celebration of the association s 125th anniversary. Verble accepted the chairman s gavel from Bill Marsh, chairman and CEO of First Commerce Bank, Lewisburg, TN, who served as TBA chairman for Marsh will remain a member of the association s board of directors for the next three years to help ensure continuity of leadership. Delegates from TBA-member institutions elect new executive officers and new board members each year during the annual convention, with members receiving one vote per charter. Executive officers elected for are: Chairman David C. Verble, president and CEO, Citizens National Bank, Sevierville, TN Chairman-elect Gordon Majors, president and CEO, The Hardin County Bank, Savannah, TN Vice Chairman Lee M. Moss, president, Franklin Synergy Bank, Murfreesboro, TN Immediate Past Chairman William B. Marsh, chairman and CEO, First Commerce Bank, Lewisburg, TN. In addition to the executive officers, TBA members elected one new director from each of the three grand divisions of the state. Directors serve three-year terms on the TBA board. 3 Page 3/TBA Leadership DAVID C. VERBLE Chairman David Verble is president and chief executive officer of Citizens National Bank in Sevierville, TN. He joined the bank in 1979 as vice president and subsequently held the posts of senior vice president and cashier and executive vice president and senior loan officer. Verble was named president of Citizens National in 1999, and CEO was added to his title in Prior to joining the bank, Verble was an assistant national bank examiner with the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency from , based in Knoxville, TN. Verble graduated with honors from The University of Tennessee, Knoxville, earning his BS degree in business administration with a major in finance. He completed the Graduate School of Banking of the South at LSU in Active within the industry, Verble has served as chairman of the TBA Government Relations Committee, a member of the TBA board of directors, and a member of the board of directors of TBA s Young Bankers Division. He was previously a board member of the Government Relations Council of the American Bankers Association. Within the community, Verble currently is a member of the board of directors of Covenant Health and of the Sevierville Commons Association, formed to revitalize Historic Downtown Sevierville, and president of the Areawide Development Corporation in Knoxville. He is a past chairman of the capital campaign steering committee for LeConte Medical Center and of the Dr. Robert F. Thomas Foundation. He is also a past member of the board of directors of the Better Business Bureau of Greater East Tennessee, Inc; past member of the board of Sevier County Industrial Development Board; past president of the Sevierville Chamber of Commerce; and member of the 1999 class of Leadership Sevier.

4 Page 4/TBA Leadership GORDON MAJORS Chairman-elect Gordon Majors is president and chief executive officer of The Hardin County Bank, a $435 million dollar community bank headquartered in Savannah, TN, and established in He began his banking career in 1977 immediately upon graduating from college. Since that time, Majors has served in various capacities throughout his career including vice president/cashier and executive vice president before being named to his current position in Majors is a graduate of the University of Tennessee at Martin where he received his BS degree in accounting. He is a proponent of lifelong education as evidenced by his completion of The Tennessee School of Banking, The Southeastern School of Commercial Lending, and The Southeastern School of Advanced Commercial Lending. Majors has been actively involved in banking trade associations throughout his career. He has served the in numerous capacities, including the board of trustees of The Southeastern School of Commercial Lending, board member and chairman of the TBA s Independent Bankers Division, and as a board member of Financial Products and Services, Inc, a wholly owned subsidiary of the. In addition, Majors served on the American Bankers Association Community Bankers Council. He has been a frequent member of the Government Affairs Group, where he advocates for bankers at both the state and national level. Majors is a lifelong resident of Hardin County where he currently serves on the Hardin County Community and Healthcare Foundation. He is married to the former Jeanie Boroughs, and they have one son, Cosmin.

5 Page 5/TBA Leadership LEE M. MOSS Vice Chairman Lee M. Moss is president of Franklin Synergy Bank, having served as chairman and CEO of MidSouth Bank in Murfreesboro, TN, prior to the merger of the two banks in Moss formerly served 28 years with SunTrust Bank in Nashville, most recently as president in Rutherford County. Moss graduated from the University of Tennessee in 1973 with a BS degree in business administration, majoring in banking. He is also a graduate of The Graduate School of Banking at LSU and the National Commercial Lending School. Moss graduated from Leadership Rutherford in 1996 and Leadership Middle Tennessee in Moss is very active in the Murfreesboro community, currently serving as chairman of the St Thomas Rutherford Hospital Board and as a board member of the following: St Thomas Health Services in Nashville, Business Education Partnership, and The Jennings Jones Foundation. He previously was chairman of the Rutherford County Chamber of Commerce; chairman of the Rutherford County United Way board; campaign chairman, president. and treasurer of Discovery Center in Murfreesboro; national president of Phi Gamma Delta Fraternity; president of the Rutherford County American Heart Association; board member of the MTSU Foundation and MTSU School of Business; president of the Nashville Downtown Optimist Club; and president of the University of Tennessee Davidson County Alumni Association. Moss is the 2012 recipient of The YMCA s Humanitarian of the Year, 2006 Chamber Business Person of the Year, and 2004 Jennings A. Jones Champion of Free Enterprise from MTSU s School of Business. He officiated high school basketball in Middle Tennessee for over 25 years, twice officiating the state tournament in Murfreesboro. Moss is active at First United Methodist Church, where he has taught the Koinonia Adult Sunday School Class for 16 years. He formerly served as chair of the Elders at Woodmont Christian Church in Nashville. Moss and his wife, Susan, have four children: Katherine, Chase, Laura, and Robert (deceased), and five grandchildren.

6 Page 6/TBA Leadership WILLIAM B. MARSH Immediate Past Chairman William B. (Bill) Marsh is chairman of the board and chief executive officer of First Commerce Bank and First Commerce Bancorp, Inc, Lewisburg, TN. He began his banking career in 1973 as a bank examiner with the Tennessee Department of Financial Institutions and after five years joined Peoples and Union Bank in Lewisburg. Marsh became president of Peoples and Union Bank in 1986 and remained in that position until the bank was sold in At that point, he and a group of local business leaders from Lewisburg started First Commerce Bank in Today, the bank has nearly $300 million in assets with 54 employees. Marsh earned his bachelor of science degree from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, in He is also a graduate of The Southeastern School of Banking at Vanderbilt University and of the Mid- South School of Banking at the University of Memphis. He attended the Executive Development School at Rhodes College in Currently, Marsh is the chairman of the City of Lewisburg s Water and Wastewater Board and is the finance chairman for the First United Methodist Church of Lewisburg. He served as the chairman of the board of the Marshall Medical Center from 1992 until 2001 and remains a member of its board of directors. He has held a variety of other positions in city and nonprofit organizations. Marsh also served as chairman of the board of Financial Products and Services, Inc, a wholly owned subsidiary of the. He is married to Carol, his wife of 40 years. They have two children, son Brian Marsh and his wife Mary Courtney, daughter Caroline Marsh Buckley and her husband Luke. They also have three grandchildren.

7 Page 7/TBA Leadership MICHAEL KRAMER Board of Directors Michael Kramer is president and CEO of FSGBank, NA, in Chattanooga, TN, and its parent company, First Security Group, Inc. Over the last two years, Kramer and his team have engineered a turn-around strategy which has enabled the bank to be recapitalized, raising over $96 million in new capital, relieving the bank from all regulatory orders, and returning the bank and company to profitability. Most recently the company announced a planned merger with Atlantic Capital Bancshares. The combination should result in a $2.7B banking company with corporate offices in Atlanta, Chattanooga, and Knoxville. Kramer began his banking career with Star Bank, now US Bank, NA, and has served in various roles in commercial banking, correspondent banking, banking operations, and technology during his three decades in the financial services industry. Kramer and his wife, Meg, have been very involved in the communities in which they ve lived. He currently is on the board of directors of the Chattanooga Chamber of Commerce, the Chattanooga United Way, and the Chattanooga Young Life Committee. The Kramers have three grown children Sarah Kovack, Elizabeth Kramer, and Thomas Kramer along with two grandchildren Levi Michael and Lucy Kate Kovack.

8 Page 8/TBA Leadership BETTY SUE HIBDON Board of Directors Betty Sue Hibdon is president and CEO of Citizens Bank, Hartsville, TN, and a lifelong resident of Trousdale County. She was elected to her position in February of 2006, becoming the first female president/ceo in the bank s history. Prior to becoming CEO, Hibdon was an executive vice president of the bank. Citizens Bank is locally owned and has operated in Hartsville/Trousdale County since Hibdon began her career as a secretary and filling in for other jobs in the bank. Having worked as a teller, bookkeeper, loan processor, collector, loan officer, and more within the bank has proven to be valuable in her current position. Hibdon graduated from the Tennessee School of Banking in 1984 and the Graduate School of Banking of the South at LSU in Hibdon has been active in community affairs all of her life. She is the current president of the Hartsville/Trousdale Chamber of Commerce, secretary/treasurer of the Industrial Development Board, Hartsville Cemetery Board president, and founding member of the Downtown Revitalization Committee, which is solely responsible for the improvements of the old downtown Hartsville. Hibdon was one of the first females in Tennessee to be inducted into the Lions Club. She served as a member of the Metro Government Commission, Hartsville/Trousdale County, which consolidated into a metro government. She previously led fund raising efforts for both the Boy and Girl Scouts in her area, served on the local Help Center board of directors, served on the board of HATS in Sumner County, and the local Equalization Board. She continues today in her volunteer efforts to improve Hartsville/Trousdale County. Hibdon and husband Donnie have three children and nine grandchildren, all living in the Hartsville/Gallatin area. She is a member of the First Baptist Church in Hartsville, where she and Donnie currently attend, and she has helped with the Children s Sermon at First Baptist for a number of years.

9 Page 9/TBA Leadership D. BRYAN JORDAN Board of Directors D. Bryan Jordan is chairman, president, and chief executive officer of First Horizon National Corporation, a $24 billion-asset, 4,200-employee financial services company whose core businesses are First Tennessee Bank, NA, and FTN Financial. Jordan, who previously was First Horizon s chief financial officer, has 26 years of financial services industry experience. Before joining First Horizon, he was chief financial officer at Regions Financial Corporation. His experience also includes positions at Wachovia (formerly First Union Corporation) and KPMG. In 2014, Jordan joined the board of directors of the Federal Reserve Bank of St Louis. He serves on the board of directors of Baptist Memorial Health Care Corporation, AutoZone, Inc, and the Financial Services Roundtable. He is a member of the Tennessee CEOs against Cancer Chapter of the American Cancer Society and serves as chairman of Youth Villages. Jordan holds a BA degree in finance and accounting from Catawba College. He and his wife, Kim, have three children.
