Come on. [applause] 00:24 DH: I came here all the way from Tucson, Arizona, to talk to you about absolutely nothing. [chuckle] 00:31 S1: In fact... I'm an expert at zero, and I have absolutely a mind just full of absolutely zero. [chuckle] So how many people here would like to learn nothing? [chuckle] 00:55 S1: I'm kidding with you. A lot of you know me because I introduced a program called "Proven Product Partnering." How many people have gone through my Proven Product Partnering? Okay. Really stretch. Come on, I need to see it. Really stretch. Okay. Alright. Now, all the people who did not raise their hand, you need to learn how to stretch. How many people actually have a client or are actually doing some business and making some money by either partnering or working with a client? Okay. Terrific. 01:29 DH: Alright. I'm not here to talk about that. What I'm gonna talk about is zero-cost marketing. A program I have called "Zero Cost Marketing Secrets," that will soon be available to you guys, is really the genesis of my Amazon business. It's really the genesis of my Proven Product Partnering program, because if you're not familiar with the way I do Amazon, I never spend a penny, ever. I don't even have a Seller Central account. I don't plan to get one. Because if you have one, you might get it shut down. And I don't ever get mine shut down, 'cause I don't have one. And yet I take no risk whatsoever with Amazon. And I do that by being an Amazon consultant. I help celebrities, I help schools, I help clients, I have Fortune 500 companies, manufacturers, you name it. 24 clients, I'm managing over a million dollars in retail business, per month, on Amazon, with zero risk, zero money. It's a great way to do the business. [chuckle] And yes, I have had accounts shut down. I've had products blocked. All the crazy stuff Amazon does. But it has absolutely zero effect on my business, because I've diversified. Multiple streams of income. So that's what Proven Product 10/22/16 Page 1 of 11

2 Partnering is, but that's not what we're gonna talk about today. 02:54 DH: We're going to talk about something that I started doing, really, almost the very first day I got into marketing. I'm a cheapskate. I don't really like to spend money. I love to make it. I guess I should rephrase that. I like to spend it, but I don't like to spend it on marketing, and on marketing tools, and things of that nature. If I can figure out a way online to make money without spending a dime, I'm all about that. And when I first started, I did that because I didn't have a lot of money. [chuckle] And if you don't have a lot of money, it's easy not to spend it, right? And I had to figure out a way to make money without spending money, and so, I started doing marketing that way. Later, I found out that I was unusual, because I just assumed everybody was doing what I was doing. And I found out that a lot of people had fallen into the trap of thinking that if you wanna make money online, you gotta spend money. 03:51 DH: Boy, is that ever a mistake. And in a lot of ways, I think we've been brainwashed a little bit. It's like we open up these s. There's always another program or another thing that's gonna... We can click the button and make some money. And they often don't work. Well, I'm like just the opposite. I teach people, I help people how to market, how to build businesses, and how to do really well without spending any money. So, that's what I'm gonna talk about today, and I have a short period of time. I usually spend about an hour talking about this. I have about a half hour. So I'm gonna jump straight in, and kinda give you a quick overview of what it is, and also some tips. 04:32 DH: So, here's the thing. I'm not specifically talking about Amazon, even though everything I'm gonna share with you can be used with Amazon. I'm going to be talking about how you can do any business online. Any business whatsoever, sell any product, anywhere. You can build a list, if you're trying to build an list, anything. Without ever spending a single penny. Are you ready? Good. Let's have some slides. Do I have a clicker? Okay, good. Wow. 05:14 DH: Okay. Some of you don't know who I am, and I'll be really quick here and humble about it. The thing that I'm most well known for, remember that movie came out, oh, gosh, geez, it's been a while now, called "The Secret"? It was a mega hit movie. It did $300 Million in sales. I was the internet strategist with that project. And guess what? We didn't spend any money on that, either. I'm gonna talk more about that in just a second. But I've also consulted on other things and been involved in other projects. Jay Conrad Levinson wrote the 'Guerilla Marketing' books, I consulted on the last book he wrote before he passed away. This guy's, named Steve Elser, decided he'd interview the top 25 marketers in the world, and somehow, I ended up on the list. You can get that on Amazon, too. 06:05 DH: This here is a chart of the sales that occurred at... I should say, online for the movie 'The Secret.' Started as a movie, later came out as a book. And ABC News actually said that the marketing campaign that went down behind 'The Secret' would become perhaps one of the greatest marketing case studies of all time. But guess what? They were wrong. It was actually the greatest case study of zero-cost marketing, because when that client came to me, guess what? They didn't have any money. None. I said, "No problem, I've been doing that forever." And so, we went on, and actually closed $300 Million in business, selling a movie and then later a book. 06:52 DH: So, what I want you to remember, as I share some tips and ideas today, is the fact that this will work for small projects, it'll work for big projects, but there's gonna be a little bird in the back of your mind that's gonna keep saying, "Hey, what this guy's telling me can't be true. 3 make money if you don't spend any money." And I want to tell you... I don't wanna say kill the bird, I'm an animal lover. But tell him to go away. [chuckle] Okay, let's go into the land of zero where everything costs zero. First of all, let's talk about what this is good for. You can do everything that you need to do for free. You can promote anything that you wanna promote for absolutely no cost. You can learn everything that you need to know for absolutely zero. And also, you can maximize profits. 07:39 DH: If you happen to be a consultant and you are helping other people, wouldn't it be great if the tools and systems that you use cost nothing, so that when you charged your client $500 a month or $3000 a month or whatever, you get keep 100% of the profit? 'Cause you're spending absolutely nothing. We do it all the time. The next thing is zero out your marketing cost. Right now, if you go and look on your credit card statement, you'll probably see you're being dinged to death. I'm gonna show you a little ding example in a moment, but you could probably go through there and zero most of that out, and not have to spend any money whatsoever. So we're gonna talk about that. 08:21 DH: Next slide. Okay, and most importantly, test ideas. This is the key to Zero Cost Marketing Secrets. Probably only one out of 10 things I've ever tried worked. You get out there, it's a product, or whatever it is you're trying to do, you put it online and it doesn't work. And so, you generally lose money. If you're doing zero-cost marketing, you're able to test these ideas to determine whether they're gonna work or not before you invest any money in it. That's really where the gold is in this. Everything I do costs absolutely zero. I do spend probably less money than any other business owner or marketer out there. But first, I need to get rid of some misconceptions. Somewhere along the line, perhaps it was your grandmother, she probably told you a couple of things. Like, for example, "There are no free tickets in life." "There's no such thing as a free lunch." "You get what you pay for." And I love this one, "You can't have your cake and eat it, too." [chuckle] Actually, you can. You can do all of these things. 09:29 DH: Now, back when your grandmother told you this, bless her heart, it was true. But the internet came along, and a business model came along, that changed all of that. And that business model was exemplified by some companies such as Google. How many people write a check to Google every month? I know they have an ad program, but most people don't. What do you do? You SEO your site, or you use some of their free tools and services, and it helps you in marketing, right? What about this big company, Facebook? How many people actually write a check to Facebook every month? You generally don't. I know they have an ad program. But generally, you go there, you socialize, you network, you use all the tools and services that they provide, and you spend no money. These two platforms are what's called a "freemium model." Freemium, which is a combination of the word "free" and "premium," meaning you're getting exemplary services for free. 10:42 DH: You don't spend any money, and there are very few catches. The reality is is there are many, many companies that have a freemium model these days. And you just have to know where to find them. But this statement by Phil Libin, who is the CEO of Evernote, says it all. "If you want to get a million people paying you money, then basically, you just need to get a billion people using something that you have." Now, I know those numbers are big and we don't think in billions and millions often, so if you just kinda scale this back and think about it a minute, if you wanted to get a hundred customers paying you money, then just go find 10,000 people that would be willing to get engaged or involved with something you have, for free. It's why we do lists. "Oh, join my list and I'll give you my free newsletter." Why do you do that? Because if they opt-in to your newsletter and you give them free information by sending out your newsletter, you know that, 10/22/16 Page 3 of 11

4 eventually, those people are the ones that are most likely going to buy something from you. 11:57 DH: So, that means, almost everybody in the room that's doing an list... How many people in here actually are building an list for anything? It should be every single hand in here. I don't care if you're doing Amazon or what. If you're not building an list, you're not really in business. That list, somewhere along the line, is gonna make you probably more money than anything else you could possibly have. But we're not gonna talk about us doing a freemium model. What I'm here to talk to you about is how you can take advantage of these incredible, incredible systems and programs that will give you great tools for absolutely nothing. And we know many of them, like Facebook and Google and... What is it? WordPress, and things of that nature. Those are free. We use them, we don't even think anything about it. But the reality is is there are thousands of these things out there, so many so that it'd blow your mind. 12:51 DH: So, bye-bye, grandmom. We're gonna talk about, now, the $ ding. Look on your credit card, folks. I know some people are scared to look on it, but you're probably paying for something right now, and you don't even know what it is. You look on your credit card and it says $ And you're thinking, "God, what is that?" Something you signed up for six months ago, and it sounded like a great idea back then. Then you got busy, and you forgot about it, and it's still dinging away on your credit card. Now, you can't even remember what it is, and if you wanna cancel it, you don't even know where to go to cancel it, right? [chuckle] Okay. You need to try to get rid of some of those dings. 13:32 DH: But let me talk to you about the $ ding. You see, what I did was I took a typical marketing campaign and I broke it down into its elements to give you a feel for what it costs to market just an average anything online. And I'll go quick here, but for example, if you're gonna do marketing online, you need to build a list. So you gotta have a list builder. A lot of people use something like AWeber. I'm not recommending any of these tools right now, I'm just giving you examples of tools that cost money. It might cost you $19 a month for AWeber. You wanna build a site, that's gonna run you maybe $7, lots of site builders out there. If you wanna do WordPress, WordPress is a free tool, but you end up spending money when you get all of these plug-ins and add-ons and all of that. And on the average, I did a little research here, most people spend about $18.64 on the various add-ons to WordPress. 14:23 DH: You gotta host your site, gonna run you maybe $7 or $8 a month, more, if you want a better server. If you wanna have a shopping cart, such as BigCommerce, it's gonna run you maybe $ If you wanna have a help desk system, and by the way, you have to have one, that's gonna run you about $9 if you use something like Zendesk. Mobile site builder, gonna run you maybe $6 a month. Some people are probably thinking, "God, I don't even know if I need a mobile website, because my WordPress turns it into a mobile website." But you actually do, because if you're going to sell something online, you can't just have your desktop site shrunk so that it fits and and think you're done. You have to think about the psychology of the mobile user so that you present information in the mobile format that will appeal to somebody that's on the run. Nobody's gonna read all of the stuff on your desktop site just 'cause you squeezed it in to an little, bitty mobile phone. So you need to have a separate mobile site that is providing mobile users with what they have time to look for. 15:35 DH: Next, Facebook. If you're gonna do Facebook, you're gonna have to have fan pages and all that kind of stuff, various apps, might run you 30 bucks. Text messaging, if you're not doing 10/22/16 Page 4 of 11

5 mobile marketing and text messaging, you're really missing some low-hanging fruit, that's gonna cost you at least $25 a month. And if you want to really sell online, doing webinars to your audiences to introduce the product and services that you offer, you cannot have a better way, that's gonna run you $99 a month. You need to do press releases, PRWeb charges a minimum, they have $89 per month. And the greediest of them all are the credit card processors, 'cause you sell something to somebody, PayPal or Authorize.Net or whoever is gonna get a percentage. And if you sold $5,000 in retail per month, that would cost you $175, just in processing fees. It all adds up. $ Now, you may be thinking, "Dan, I can market, but I don't need all of that stuff you're talking about." That's true. You don't need it. But if you had it, you'd sell more. So, in essence, you kinda do need it. People cut corners because they think they don't need to spend money on tools, or they just don't have the money to spend. So let me show you my typical budget. Here it is. [applause] 17:11 DH: I wanna remind you, that was my budget for 'The Secret.' $300 Million later, that was the budget. Zero. This works. Works really nicely. But you gotta learn how to go ouch-free. But here's the thing I found out. I have now had, and this is true, 47,000 people go through a program I have called "Zero Cost Marketing Secrets." I've been doing this for, gosh, 10 years. And what I found... It's live? Good. Let me go back. What is I found is that most people don't want to learn how to spend no money. That's really not what they're after, they wanna learn how to make more money. So what I focus on is two things which is, how to make more money by spending nothing, okay? You notice, I didn't say, "Make more by spending less." It's by spending nothing. And that is the goal, to spend nothing. It's so doable, it's funny. Let me give you an example. If you're trying to build an list, you have choices, like you could go and you could use AWeber. They don't know what "free" means there. They will charge you $19 a month, no matter what. They give you a break the first month and charge a dollar. But that's too much, that's not free. And that just gets you hooked in, and then lo and behold, you're spending some money. 18:43 DH: If you could go to a place like MailChimp, they'll let you build a list of up to 2,000 people on your list, and it cost absolutely zero. But MailChimp is not really that great if you want to send out a series of s. You know how somebody opts in to your list and then you wanna send them an the first week and the second week and the third week? Well, MailChimp doesn't allow you to do that. 19:08 DH: There's another system out there. There's one called "Benchmark." It's every bit as good as AWeber and MailChimp, but guess what? It costs zero, and will let you send a series of s. The only reason I show this as an example is because most people are familiar with autoresponders, like AWeber. Many people use that system. A lot of people are familiar with MailChimp and use that system. But what I wanna illustrate is that if you just dug slightly deeper, you'd find out there's even something better, and it would allow you to get what you need done and not spend any money. 19:47 DH: Now, eventually with many tools, they may charge you some money down the road. Even Benchmark. If you start with them, you can do a lot, with 2,000 people on your list. I kinda think that if you can build a list of 2,000 people and you can't figure out how to make any money, not even 20 bucks a month, and you've got 2,000 people on your list, there's something wrong with something. 'Cause it's hard not to make money when you're talking to 2,000 people, even if you just say, "Hey, would you buy me a cup of coffee?" Somebody of the 2,000 would, right? 10/22/16 Page 5 of 11

6 20:22 DH: Well, once you're making money from a list, then it's okay to spend money. So, understand what I'm saying. I start every campaign, everything I do, I always start at zero. Always. It's just the way I do it. I don't even know how to think any other way. Then as money starts coming in, I reinvest that money, and just build out from there. So, don't think that I don't ever spend money on any tools, and I don't ever spend any money on anything. What I'm saying is that I don't spend any money on anything unless that thing is making me some money. And if it is, then I reinvest and start to go from there. That's the trick. If it's not gonna make you money by spending zero, then it's likely not worth doing. 21:15 DH: If you have any tool, right now, that you're using, that's not making you more money than what you're spending on the tool, dump it. Right? Would you get a car that costs you more to drive it to work than what you got paid at work? Would you keep driving the car to work? 'Cause you just keep getting more broke, and more broke, and more broke. It's crazy. And yet that's what most online businesses do. But we're gonna stop that. I actually took zero and broke it down into 25 categories, like publishing, and press releases, and presentations, and customer support, and content, and graphics, and SEO, and every kind of marketing you could think of, and I went out and I found the best of the best tools that could help you build a business without spending a penny in every single category. 22:12 DH: And what I did is I kicked the tires, I tested them. I happen to be a programmer, and a designer, and a copywriter, and I'd... Unfortunately, I do too many things, and that's my problem. It's 'cause I always wanna do it myself. And I get really interested in it. If I'm working on a video, I'll spend freaking days doing the video, and I'll ignore all this other stuff I'm supposed to be doing 'cause I'm having so much fun doing the video. But anyway, in one way, it helps, because the fact that I know a lot about this stuff, and so I go out there and I find these tools, I kick the tires, I test them, and if they're great, then they'd go into my system. I add 'em to my database. And it's like you're being a kid in a candy store. Can you imagine walking into a candy store as a kid, and everything's free? Of course, that is the way it is if you bring your parents with you. [chuckle] 23:01 DH: Well, that's what this is. 25 categories, and everything in the entire system is free. So let me give you an example of how you can build a list and figure out how to market any product really quick, using a system called "Launchrock." Now, this is just an example, you guys may have heard of this. But this is just an example of how you can actually use zero-cost tools to achieve revenue. Launchrock is a system that is 100% free, has been around forever, I've used it forever, and I actually used it to promote the original release of Zero Cost Marketing Secrets. One day, I woke up and I said, "You know, I don't think I'm the only... " Well, in fact, what I said is, "I think I may be the only person on the planet that doesn't like to spend money on marketing tools. I wonder if there's anybody else on the planet that would be interested in me showing them how not to spend money?" But rather than me assume I was right, I said, "I'll just throw up a quick page at Launchrock. 24:03 DH: And the Launchrock page, if you pull it back up, actually, is nothing more than a title, 'Zero Cost Marketing Secrets,' a paragraph that explains what your idea is, an image, and in this case, it's just... Kinda looks like a cigarette made out of a dollar and they're kinda burning money, and an opt-in box. That's really all Launchrock is. And so, you can set this Launchrock page up in all of 15 or 20 minutes. So if you wake up one day and you say, "Hey, I've got this idea. I think I 10/22/16 Page 6 of 11

7 could make some money if I did this." Maybe it's a service, maybe it's a product. Whatever. Instead of just going and building it all out or investing in the product and hoping it's gonna work, go set up a Launchrock page. 24:53 DH: Okay. Now, the Launchrock page, if a visitor comes here, they put in their address, but here's what they're giving you their for. They're buying into your idea. I'm basically saying, "Hey, guys. I'm thinking about doing a training program, that's my idea, and I just wanna know if there's anybody else out there that would be interested in this if I did it." And if people are, they will put their address in, and they will click the button, and then that brings them to the next page, which is where this thing goes viral. Because what Launchrock does is they will allow the person who has just said, "Hey, I like your idea, here's my , let me know all about it as soon as you're ready," that's kinda what your opt-in is doing. 25:37 DH: And then it will say, "Well, hey, you've just opted in for this. Would you like to share it with anybody? Here's a link you could give to other people, or you could share it on Facebook or Twitter or whatever you wanna do." And then lo and behold, it takes that information and it puts it into a database for you. What Launchrock really does is it lets you know whether your idea is gonna fly or not before you go and spend any money. And then it tells you who your evangelists are. And your evangelists are key in marketing, because evangelists will become your marketers. 26:09 DH: An evangelist is a person that not only gave you their , but also shared it already with a friend or a buddy. And this system will literally tell you. It'll say, "Hey, this person here not only opted in but they shared it with another person. And this guy shared it with two persons. And this lady shared it with three people." If they're already sharing your idea before you've even generated it or created it, then you know they're an evangelist. They're buying in to what you're talking about. So now, what do you do? You go and you look at the results. Okay? I drove a little traffic to this thing, and after about four weeks, I had 6,464 leads. Now, in the program, I also show you how to generate traffic for free. So don't get all hung up and say, "Hey, Dan, great idea but how do I drive traffic to this thing in order to find out whether this is gonna fly or not?" 27:01 DH: Okay? I don't have time to show you that today, but I drove some traffic there and 6,464 people signed up. These are leads. So now, I know, what? I know that my idea is probably gonna work because I put it up and then four weeks later, I had 6,000 people who said, "Hey, I'm interested." So now, I know, if I build, it people will come. Alright? I've tested the idea. If I had only received maybe 300 or 400 leads, I might've said, "You know, I don't think this gonna work." So either I've gotta maybe tweak it a little bit, call it something different. I gotta do something different, because the original idea isn't attracting interest. So, what do I do next? Now, it's time to build a squeeze page. 27:49 DH: Step two. I'm still not spending any money, but I know my idea's gonna work. But now, as I begin to build out this thing... In my case, it was a training program but it could be a product or anything. As I begin to build this thing out, I can start to really build an opt-in list. So then I set up a squeeze page. Now, I've gotta fly through this, but this is a squeeze page or a "landing page" as you might call it, and it has over 24 zero-cost tools integrated into it. What you're looking at right there. Everything from the servers that this thing is on... This is on a server that is probably better than the most expensive servers that some of you guys are spending money on right now. 28:32 DH: I wouldn't be surprised to hear, you spend $300 a month to be on a server as good as the 10/22/16 Page 7 of 11

8 one I've got, this one, right here. But this one doesn't cost me $300 a month. It's zero. Zero. And I don't deal with any tools if they have catches. You know how you sign up for something, you thought it was good, and then all of a sudden, it's got banners on it, or they're sending you spam in the , and they're driving you nuts? None of that stuff. This is just freemium stuff. It's free for a reason. This company's making a lot of money, but they're not getting it from me. 29:07 DH: Okay? So that's the server. And then it's got all of these tools of which I can't even go into 'em, but there's over 24 of them here. But let's just talk about a few of them really quick. For example, I know you've seen squeeze pages before. Generally, you come there and there's a video and then an opt-in box. Those are the main two parts of it. And you can see, we've got that there. But look what happens, as they start watching the video, or at least what you think is gonna be a video, what you realize is this is a video even beyond what YouTube can do because it's kind of a video/slide show. And you can't do that on YouTube. And by the way, nothing wrong with YouTube, because, what? It is a zero-cost tool. You don't spend any money there, either. But this is better. What is it? It's Wistia. 29:52 DH: Wistia's great, because they come here, and what they see first... You can't hear this, but when a visitor first arrives, they're looking at the first slide, and there's audio going. And basically, the audio is saying, "Hey, this is Dan Hollings, welcome to the website. I just wanna let you know that I'm about to show you a whole bunch of really cool stuff that you can do without spending any money. I've got this training program where I teach Zero Cost Marketing Secrets. And if you'll hang with me, just three or four more minutes, I wanna show you a video and explain it all to you." That's what the first slide says. So, people are thinking, "Wow. That sounds pretty good." 30:27 DH: So then we move forward. What happens next is this. It slides over, and it says, "Whoa. Hold on. Before I show you all this great stuff, I'd like for you to put in your ." And you can see, my visitor is typing in their right now. Will YouTube let you do that? No. You see? This is literally getting a person to opt-in right in the video area. Now, they go to the next slide, which is, it is something called... What is it? Presty. Presty is this really cool interactive slideshow system. It was built for the education industry. 31:14 DH: And I'm doing it kinda fast here, but on the site, when they visit, it zooms in and out, and it's like eye candy, but it explains the whole experience of marketing for zero. After they get through watching this, I'm really flying through some of this right here, then it moves on to the next part, which is a video. And I'm not gonna show you the actual video, but you see, number three, I have "The Poetic Tale of the Marketer with Zero Brains." And this is a cute little video I put together that talks about this guide that decides he's gonna go online, and his goal is to sell bottles of nothing. Only to find out that there's lots of people selling nothing online. [chuckle] And he is so disappointed, and he spends all this money, and he buys all these tools, and he gets to the end, and it's kinda like a parable, in a way, he learns that it's not gonna work unless he can learn how to market without spending any money. So, that's what that little landing page shows them. But I hope you can see that if you use a free tool, Wistia is the tool, you can have a slideshow of videos, you can get your people to opt-in right in the video. And you can't do that with YouTube. 32:36 DH: So this is just a matter of you knowing what tool get you to the end of the race. And Wistia can do it better than YouTube. So the next thing on the page is, there is a way to enter a Facebook contest, if you know how to set up one that doesn't cost anything. And again, real quick here, they can click there and go over and there's a video there, too, which I built for totally free. 10/22/16 Page 8 of 11

9 And then there's a contest module where they can actually win a prize, and I even show you where you can get the prizes. And they can actually opt-in to the contest. Now, you're maybe thinking, "Well, why do you have a contest?" Well, some people are gonna see the video and give me their address when they see the video, right? But some people don't do that. Some people would probably say, "Hey, I'm not interested in that, but this contest looks interesting." I will get their there. You see, this landing page, I hate to call it this, but it's kinda like a booby trap. One way or the other, I'm gonna present something compelling, where the visitor's gonna go, "Ooh. Gosh, that's worth me giving you my ." So if it's not the video, if it's not the Facebook, then the next thing I have is a download. Some people just like to download stuff. 33:47 DH: So I have that as well. But instead of a regular download, I have them go over to Pinterest to get the download. Why? Because if you just give somebody a download, like a PDF, they download it, they look at it, and the story's over. If you give them the download on Pinterest, guess what? Some of them share it. They re-pin it. And it becomes viral. So just the matter of knowing the strategy of giving a download via Pinterest, which I bet nobody in this room is doing that, it allows you to become more viral. And then I give this incredible thing over at Pinterest, you're looking at it there, which is a big infographic. Infographics are great as well, and I show you how to create those for free. But you leave something out of the infographic. And in that infographic, you'll see that there's a URL that they can click on that will take them to a page, where ultimately, they have to give me their address in order to find out the missing thing that's on this infographic. This is all just one page we're looking at, folks. The landing page. I haven't spent any money. Next. Come on, come on. Next. There we go. 35:02 DH: Okay. Now, what else do we have here? Up in the right, there's a way to share this with friends. I'm not gonna show you that one, but this is a great share with friend free system. And then if you go to leave the webpage... Have you ever been to a webpage and when you trying to leave, all of a sudden, the thing pops up? That's called an "exit pop." And this one is really classy. But basically, what it's saying is, "Hey, you've looked at everything I've got in my booby trap, and you haven't given your yet. Here's one more chance." And I just put a nice, little personal message in there, and basically, it says, "You have zero excuses," and la di da di da, and give them one more chance to put in their . If they scroll down the page, there is a poll that they can take that is through... I think it's called "Pinpoll." Great, little polling system. Costs zero. There's an audio there that talks a little bit more about Zero Cost Marketing Secrets, that I host over at SoundCloud, that cost absolutely nothing. And then down at the bottom, you'll see that there's a link for them to go to the mobile website. 36:00 DH: I build a separate mobile website that focuses on what I'm trying to do here, which, again, is just get a person to opt-in. And there's the mobile website. Which can be built for absolutely nothing. What did I end up with? Two months later, 12,700 leads. So, again, I started with Launchrock. I tested my idea. I got about 6,000 people who said, "Yes, I love it." Some of those people shared it with other people. They were my evangelists. When I rolled out my landing page, my squeeze page, I then went to my evangelists first, and I said, "Hey, guys, what I told you I was gonna build, I'm finally building it now," and I give it to my evangelists, and I say, "Why don't you come in there, and kick the tires, and look around?" Because if those people really like it, they become your marketers. And those will be the people that will help you to promote, whatever it is you're selling, out onto the larger internet. 37:01 DH: So, where's the money in zero? It's really everywhere. There's nothing that you can't do 10/22/16 Page 9 of 11

10 online, and not make money by spending nothing. You can market your own products, including Amazon. There's a lot of stuff in this that will help you with your Amazon business. I mean, guys, I run an Amazon business. So, there's a lot of stuff that will help you, without spending any money, in Zero Cost Marketing Secrets. 37:26 DH: If you happen to sell services, or if you're a consultant, or anything, you can do that for zero. You can market books for zero. You can market info products. You can market affiliate products. And you can promote your own self and your own business for absolutely zero. And you can enhance your Amazon business. All without spending a dime. Does this excite you? Okay? [applause] 37:55 DH: Here's the thing. There are plenty of things you can spend money on, and I know that you're doing it. But I think we've been brainwashed to think that we've gotta spend some more money, and keep spending some more money, in order to make some. And I'd really like to change that. You can still spend money. [chuckle] That's okay. But start doing more things that cost nothing, and you can expand your business without the risk, without the cost, and I think you'll see some magical things happen. I've seen it happen in my life, I mean, this doesn't seem odd to me, but everybody I talk to, if I don't tell 'em I'm not... If I just go up to somebody and start talking to him, very quickly, I'll say, "Well, how much did you spend on that? How much did you spend on that? How much... " Let's do this real quick, how many people right now spend $100 a month just on various tools and services? Yeah, it's almost everybody. It really is. How many spend $500 a month on various tools and services in order to run your business? Okay, that's a lot. 39:00 DH: It could probably be zero, but if you don't try real hard, maybe half. But if you really try, you can do almost everything for zero. So let's see if I have any more slides here... And then here's the thing. Oh, yeah. There's a blueprint here, that I give out, that shows you every single detail of how I set up that landing page, all those tools. I only covered a few of them today. There are 25 built into it. There they all are in an interactive blueprint. This is a interactive meeting, there's videos in it, and you click the links, and all that kind of stuff. Every detail is in that. I show you how to set up that dual landing page strategy, where, first, you create an idea and put it up on Launchrock, then you kinda test the idea. Then you set up your landing page, and start to build a real list. And while you're building your real list, that's when you start building the product, or sourcing the product, or the service, or whatever it is. That's when you do it. You don't spend the money until you know for sure it's gonna work. 40:01 DH: And then for traffic, again, what I do with traffic is I teach the concept of fishing. In other words, all the places that you can get traffic online are really here on the left, such as referrals and viral. From the various social media services, , and stuff like that. Those are all the places that you could fish for traffic. But what I teach you how to do is, what kind of bait to put on your hook when you go fishing in the various fishing holes that are out there on the web. And if you know that, it really gets to be a lot, lot easier. Traffic is really where it's all about. I spent like two hours just talking about generating zero-cost traffic. Everything you do online is going to require traffic. Including Amazon. 40:46 DH: And then finally, let's see, what do we have here? Here's where we're at. It says, over 35,000 people... I did a survey. I've been teaching this for quite a while. Got it. Okay, I've been doing this for quite a while, over 35,000 people have been through the program, actually, it's about 10/22/16 Page 10 of 11

11 47,000 now. And back when I did the interview, I had saved people, collectively, over $1,300,000. That's money that was not spent. So where did it end up? In the pockets of the students that are now practicing Zero Cost. 41:19 DH: So, what we have here is a program that's gonna be released real soon, and it's going to be at... Let me make sure I get this, it's not live yet. I should say... Well, it's live, but we don't have it all set up, 'cause we're doing some special pricing for you guys.
