1 Quick Tip #3 Ideal Body Image Page 1 of 6 Welcome back to Quick Tips CD #3 of your Be Fit for Life Weight Loss Program. In this CD we will be focusing on Your Ideal Body Image. While you listen to me talk you will remain awake, alert, and focused at all times. This past week, you should have been listening to your Healthy Eating Quick Tips CD #2 any time you wanted to as well as listening to your Hypnosis CD Healthy Eating as you went to bed each night or while you were resting. Now you should be noticing some changes both in your mental attitude as well as how you feel. You should be choosing healthier foods, eating more slowly, leaving some food on your plate, and separating your emotions from your eating habits. You should be enjoying eating but noticing that full feeling and saying stop...i do not need any more right now! You should also have begun to increase your physical exercise (if time allows and/or you are physically able). All of these changes should feel good take a deep breath and feel PROUD of yourself you deserve to feel good you deserve to be happy. Over the next two weeks you will be focusing on YOUR IDEAL BODY IMAGE. You will learn to trigger your subconscious mind to change your beliefs and thoughts about you see yourself. Lets talk about the Natural Laws of the Mind. #1 WHAT YOU EXPECT TO DO (WHAT YOU THINK ABOUT) WILL TEND TO BE WHAT YOU DO. And #2 YOUR IMAGINATION IS STRONGER THAN KNOWLEDGE. I repeat YOUR IMAGINATION IS STRONGER THAN KNOWLEDGE. This means if you imagine something, and focus on it for long enough with a positive accepting attitude and you take certain necessary actions you WILL create, or achieve that which you imagine. Now realize how much Your Body responds to your thoughts think about it, when you have thoughts of fear your heart speeds up...when you get embarrassed your face flushes, when you have thoughts of worry or anxiety it can create stomach acid This means, your expectancy, and/or what you believe actually affects your physical body... Here is another example, notice when someone walks into a room: if their shoulders are
2 Quick Tip #3 Ideal Body Image Page 2 of 6 hanging forward and their head is looking down...you can see immediately that their attitude is affecting their physical body in a negative way. Notice someone else entering the room with their shoulders back, their head up, and they are SMILING their attitude is affecting their physical body also. Special note: This works in reverse also I want you to know that YOU have the ability to choose to change your physiology or your body language to help you change your mood or attitude. Standing up straighter, throwing your shoulders back, smiling these physical changes actually cue your mind in a more positive direction and thus makes you feel better. One of the specific actions that you will take this week will include changing your attitude toward how you see yourself. These changes in your attitudes and your beliefs about your body image, along with following the rest of your plan, will add up to you becoming a thinner healthier person. Success IS possible, through hypnosis we will make it easy for you to SEE AND FEEL the new slim, trim, fit, healthy you. Keep in mind, one of your ACTIONS is listening to the Hypnosis CD Ideal Body Image each night when you go to bed as you fall asleep. This will make all of these changes happen much more easily, because through hypnosis we are changing your subconscious mind to accept your new thoughts. OK So let s talk about visualization of your Ideal Body Image seeing your body the way you want it to be. You must truly IMAGINE being the slim, trim, fit person that you desire. You must accept this new body image as if it has already occurred see it as of NOW. You must go BEYOND just picturing it You must FEEL what it feels like. You must totally associate with the visualization through your imagination. BE THERE, FEEL HOW GOOD IT FEELS. What I am trying to say is it is not enough to see yourself as a slimmer person, way off in the distance you have to be able to feel the feeling NOW!!! GET INTO IT REALLY ENJOY FEELING GREAT about how you look!!! Also, through hypnosis you will review the stages of your life, you will accept why you have become over weight, and leave that over weight you in the past. That past you and the excess weight is going to disappear.
3 Quick Tip #3 Ideal Body Image Page 3 of 6 You are going to visualize the excess weight disappearing. You will accept the fact that you are exactly who you are supposed to be. You are going to develop a clear vision of the body you want to have the slim, fit, trim you. You will keep this new body image in your mind and think of this image as of NOW and from NOW ON... You are going to accept yourself and approve of the changes you are making. Of course, you will still be paying attention to your eating patterns and ONLY eat when you are hungry. You will still pay attention to the fact that you eat only small portions of healthy foods, and that your appetite is easily satisfied, but THE NEXT TWO WEEKS ARE ABOUT seeing and accepting Your Ideal Body Image. You must believe that you can succeed. You need to accept the fact that you DESERVE to succeed. You are taking action so remind yourself you will succeed because you are taking action and you deserve it. Keep that Body Image in mind to constantly remind yourself that it is worth it to take the action. Now, we are going to talk about an exciting concept called anchoring. Have you ever hear a song as you drive in the car that perhaps is a song that you heard at a high school dance? Have you ever noticed that just hearing the song sort of takes you back to the mood that you were in and the feelings that you had at that dance? The song in this case is called an auditory anchor the sound of the song caused your mind to trigger your memory or bring you back to the moment of how you felt when you were actually there, at that dance and were listening to that song. I could go on and on, but I think you probably have the idea already. An Anchor can be a sound, it can be a touch, it can be a taste, it can be a smell, or it can be something you see. The point is, it brings back a peak emotional experience. Actually, everything in life affects your subconscious mind and tends to get anchored in one way or another... Anchors are set for you all day, in both negative and positive ways...so you may as well take control of them and set some positive beneficial anchors or rituals to get you in the mood that best helps you to feel confident and secure and helps you keep your Ideal Body Image in your focus... In this hypnosis CD Ideal Body Image I will create anchors through your subconscious mind. However, in this talk CD, I want to teach you how to
4 Quick Tip #3 Ideal Body Image Page 4 of 6 create and/or pay attention to an anchor with your conscious mind to trigger your subconscious mind. You will probably want to wait until you can relax and really focus on this activity but this is what you will want to do. To anchor feeling confident and secure You want to think of a time when you were completely secure, really confident and get totally into it...remember what you saw when you were confident, remember what you felt and heard when you were confident and secure. Imagine stepping into that feeling...totally immersing yourself in the feeling of being secure, know that you are very good at what you do immerse yourself in that feeling. Now touch your first finger and your thumb together...and remember that feeling, FEEL IT get even more into it and touch your first finger and your thumb together. From now on, anytime you start to feel stressed you want to find that confident calmed down feeling. Just stop Touch you first finger and your thumb together and notice that it will remind you of that confident and secure state of mind. Just by touching your finger and your thumb together you will begin to access your confident and secure state of mind, because you have set an anchor. You are going to ritualize or anchor, getting into that mood of feeling secure, confident and at peace with yourself. In other words, touching your finger and thumb together will become an anchor and will trigger or remind you to feel confident and secure. Once you feel confident and secure again, you can then regain control over many of your thoughts. You can do this to imagine your Ideal Body Image also. Visualize your own personal Ideal Body Image see it feel it...totally immerse yourself in how you look and how good it feels. Then take a deep breath and let it out. Now remember that Ideal Body and remember that feeling, get even more into it and take another deep breath...and let it out. Use taking a deep breath as an anchor or trigger to see and feel your Ideal Body Image when ever you want. Repeat this as often as you like keep your new vision close You can create anchors for many of your desired actions. This anchoring technique can be clarified by your hypnotist. Thus, if you need further explanation on using an anchor, be SURE to ask and discuss this with the hypnotist that you are working with.
5 Quick Tip #3 Ideal Body Image Page 5 of 6 OK so now Realize, that sometimes things happen around you that may cause you to think about eating unhealthy food or overeating. For instance, you may be in a social situation, such as: the family has made a pot luck dinner, or you are at a party there are all types of foods and lots and lots of food on the tables...this situation may bring back the desire to overeat because it triggers the memory of overeating from the past. However, remember it is your mind...it is your head if you use your ANCHOR and VISUALIZE how good you look and how good you feel being the comfortably fit, trim, healthy you you will choose healthy foods and food portions that are right for you you won t get lost in the emotion of that moment because you have anchored your new actions in your mind... In closing, remember you have written out your plan of action and you are checking it off as you follow it. Feel proud for taking action and believe that you will be successful. Visualize see the new slim, fit, trim, healthy you. Hold on to this vision of the slim, fit, trim, confident you. Drink your water, eat small portions of healthy foods and feel good. Listen to your hypnosis CD Ideal Body Image at bedtime (or as a power nap) and ENJOY the positive changes that are occurring! Now I am going to give you a list of positive affirmations that you should be saying to yourself as often as you like. Right now Say them with me, to yourself as I speak. Remember, you will stay awake and conscious as you listen to these positive affirmations. Pick your favorites or write your own just be sure they are POSITIVE! Enjoy them, believe them! I take a deep breath and anchor my Ideal Body Image. I am making positive changes in my life today and for the rest of my life. I am strong, confident, and brave today and for the rest of my life. I separate my eating needs from my emotions. I visualize myself as a slim, fit, trim person. I know I can achieve my slim, fit, trim vision. I accept my new vision of myself. I love my new vision of myself. I feel good. Each day I look much more attractive. Life is good I feel and look good.
6 Quick Tip #3 Ideal Body Image Page 6 of 6 I become happier and healthier each day. I notice when I feel full and say stop eating I am full. I feel stronger each day as I do my physical activity. I have a happy attitude. I see the positive in each situation. I appreciate all the positive that happens around me each day. I see my Ideal Body and I like it! I enjoy my physical activity each day. I think of my physical activity time as my play time. I am enjoying my new attitude about food and eating. I am healthy. I love my new look. I enjoy eating the healthy foods that my body needs. I feel better and better each day. I see myself being able to move and do physical activities more easily. I see the NEW me. I see my slim, fit, trim body. I approve of the changes that I am seeing. I am paying more attention to how I look and feel each day. I am brave, strong, and confident today and for the rest of my life. I forgive myself and I forgive others and I move on. I visualize the slim, fit, trim, healthy me. I accept the slim, fit, trim, healthy me. I believe in the slim, fit, trim, healthy me. I am happy. I LOVE visualizing my slim, fit, and trim body. I enjoy my slim, fit, and trim body. I am following my new PLAN OF ACTION today and for the rest of my life. ***Repeat any or all of these affirmations to yourself as often as you like change yourself talk to POSITIVE self talk! You will find that you are THINKING ABOUT THINGS IN A DIFFERENT WAY and positive changes are occurring! Have a GREAT DAY!
