The Story of Tracy Beaker - Series 2 - Ep. 20 JENNY: Whoa! What s the rush? TRACY: Elaine s here! JENNY: Elaine? That would be the same Elaine that you called Fish Face? TRACY: Toad Head actually. Yeah. She s doing a Treasure Hunt - with fantastic prizes - probably a mobile phone or something. And I m going to win! JENNY: Ok. Give it to me straight. TRACY: It s ok - I ll help you! ELAINE: No, no, no, no, no, that s my gym kit. DUKE: Elaine s been on a team building course. Y know the type...logrolling...walking on hot coals... JENNY: Please don t tell me she s going to be here all morning. DUKE: No...all day. ELAINE: You wouldn t be after a little peek at the prize now would you? TRACY: Course not Elaine... Ben and I can wait - he s my partner... ELAINE: Oh, Tracy, I don t know, Ben doesn t live here. TRACY: Elaine! You re the one who says we should mix with children from outside the Dumping Ground. How am I supposed to grow up normal? ELAINE: Okay, but just this once. TRACY: Yes! 1

TRACY: We are going to be the most fantastic double act - totally unstoppable. For Ben and me, the prize is in the bag. RYAN: Want to be on our team? ZAC: Elaine s doing a Treasure hunt. RYAN: Word is, she s loaded with prizes. ZAC: Our team is boys only - you in? BEN: Yeah great. What about Tracy? RYAN: No problem - she s bound to be with the girlies-whirlies. PETER: Tracy, will you be my partner? TRACY: Sorry Weed. Me and Ben are already sorted. MAXY: You can be with me. But I m leader ok? TRACY: Ben - you are going to be in my team right? BEN: I m sorry, I promised the lads I d be with them. ZAC & RYAN: We re gonna win - we re gonna win! BEN: We thought you d be with the girls. TRACY: Course I am. I was just making sure you weren t going to get left out. TRACY: Louise! Let me in... LOUISE: Go on Justine... let her. No way. Get lost Tracy Beaker! We don t want you in our team. TRACY: I wouldn t want to be stuck with a couple of bogey-brained amoebas like you anyway. 2

ELAINE: Now has each team got their list? ALL: Yes! ELAINE: ALL: And has everyone got their boxes? Yes! ELAINE: Good. Now the first round is to find the biggest leaf - have you got that, Maxy? The... Biggest... Leaf. MAXY: What s the prize? What s the prize? ELAINE: Ah, you ll just have to wait and see. ELAINE: Right, may the best team win! JENNY: Not playing? TRACY: I decided Treasure hunts are a big fat yawn. JENNY: Hm. You wouldn t catch me joining in either. I m just going to take a peek - see what s going on. ELAINE: Work together nicely everyone. LOUISE: Wow it s huge! What about the bird poop? Wipe it with your sleeve. LOUISE: Hah. What? Well I can t do it, can I - This is brand new. MAXY: What about this one?. PETER: Maxy. That s from two different trees. MAXY: So? 3

PETER: And I can see the sticky tape. RYAN: Ok, right a bit. A bit more - Just a bit more... BEN AND ZAC: Ahhh! RYAN: We nearly got it that time. JENNY: ELAINE: Peter and Maxy s is easily the largest. Yes but this...has a larger surface area. JENNY: Elaine... you must be joking? ELAINE: Justine and Louise are the winners. Keep up the good work, Treasure Seekers! TRACY: So who s winning then? JENNY: Justine and Louise, apparently. TRACY: I could ve found a bigger leaf than them easily. JENNY: How about we partner up and show them how it s done? TRACY: I d rather be buried up to my neck in cold custard, but thank you. JENNY: Are you sure about that? TRACY: You only want to join in so you can win and annoy Elaine. JENNY: That s rubbish!!... What about that fantastic prize? TRACY: Shame to waste it on Justine... JENNY: Mmm. Insect with the most legs. 4

TRACY: I know where one is, follow me... RYAN: And if the tube goes there - then the spider ll climb up here - BEN: No! Put it coming out the top. RYAN: It has to go there or the lever won t balance, Ant-Brain! ZAC: Whoa! Cool it. I ve got the perfect solution. We just find a couple of juicy flies. BEN: It s going there whether you like it or not. BEN: I ll go catch the flies. TRACY: You re wasting your time poking around here. TRACY: It s a good job I know all the best places for insects. It d be a tough bug who could get away from me. That s nothing. We found a centipede - What s all this stuff, Louise? LOUISE: That s a little bed for him and that s a little snack. I really wonder about you sometimes. JENNY: So where is it? TRACY: Looks like he s packed his little suitcase and done a little runner. ELAINE: Well you re in the lead so far. Peter and Maxy - what have you found? A millipede! You re the winners! MAXY: Yeay! ELAINE: Well done everyone! The next round is the most interesting plant. 5

DUKE: Plants?... Plants?! DUKE CONT: No, no, no, no, no, not plants... The key words are harmony and co- Elaine! Do something! ELAINE: operation... RYAN: Cos when the fly goes in there it catches it and closes really quickly so the fly... We don t want pretty, Louise. We want interesting. Like that. Distract them and I ll nick theirs. LOUISE: Oh no! My teeth have fallen out! ZAC: I bet ours is better than yours. It s a Venus Fly Trap - it s carnivorous. MAXY: Pick this big pink one. DUKE: Touch that flower and you re mashed potatoes! MAXY: It wasn t me! TRACY: So, erm, when was the last time you watered them? ZAC: We re going to win this, lads. TRACY: Make way. TRACY: Here we have an extremely rare Biggus-Beakerus-Maximus. Found growing only in the wilds of the Himalayan mountains and propagated by the Tibetan monks. ELAINE: Well done Tracy - Very inventive. The round goes to you. JENNY/TRACY: Yes! Yes! Yes! Yes! Yes! 6

ELAINE: Keep it up Treasure Seekers, you re working very well together. Now the next round is...the bendiest twig...! ZAC: We.. had... it... first. In.. your..dreams - Dog-Breath! RYAN: Hey. Come and see what I ve found. At least we got the stick. LOUISE/ Maxy!!!! PETER: Help Maxy! MAXY: Just jump Peter! Duke will catch you. DUKE: Peter! ELAINE: And the winners of this round are - Ben, Zac and Ryan! JENNY: That is not a twig. That is a stick! You ll have to disqualify them. ELAINE: Ref s decision stands. Now, as you ve each won one round we re going to need a tie break. Any ideas? TRACY: How about the smelliest sock?... BOYS: Yes! ELAINE: Well, no, I really don t think that s... LOUISE: Please...just for me... DUKE: Oh all right... Urgh...Ace. 7

DUKE: That was clean on today! BEN: Ok. Clear the area! RYAN: I am clear! BEN: Get hold of the handle. Now taking it very, very easy...lift the lid. Ok now the tricky bit - take the sock out. I repeat. Take the sock out! Now - You can do it! TRACY: Hang on. I just happen to know where we can find the smelliest, skankiest sock ever known to man... or woman. JENNY: Where?.. TRACY: It ll cost you - A pizza. JENNY: One pizza? Ok, a pizza. TRACY: Come on... JENNY: What if we get caught... TRACY: Who dares wins. JENNY: You re right. ELAINE: What s going on? TRACY: Oh don t you go on at me. I ve just had a bucketful from Jenny. What d you think you re doing in there, Tracy Beaker? JENNY: Yes, and enough of your cheek too, Miss. ELAINE: Thank you Jenny. ELAINE: Not bad... Justine? Hmm. A definite hint of pong. RYAN: Have a whiff of this, Elaine. 8

ELAINE: Urgh, very good. Well done. Tracy? ELAINE: Urrrrggghhhh! LOUISE: That s disgusting! BEN: Gross! Where d you get it from?! TRACY: I just borrowed it from a friend of mine...well, I say a friend, not a friend exactly...and I discovered it rather than borrowed it...in a totally amazing way... TRACY: Fish food. JENNY: Fish food. TRACY: Curry powder. JENNY: Curry powder. TRACY: Leftovers. JENNY: Leftovers. DUKE: Phoar! That is one smelly sock, Tracy! ELAINE: I think it s time I presented the prize - the overall winners are...tracy and Jenny. MAXY: It s not fair! HE STOMPS OFF IN A BIG HUFF. ELAINE: Well done everyone. Wonderful teamwork. I think we ve all learnt something from today. Now for the prize. Congratulations! 9

LOUISE: They re lovely Tracy - now you can do some pwetty colourwing. TRACY: Well actually Justine. Here, you have them. Call it a consolation prize. For being a prize cow. It s your fault Justine. We could have won if we d used my plant. ELAINE: Come on now girls... you were a super team... ZAC: They were rubbish, they tried to steal our stick. She was rubbish - Ow gerroff me! ELAINE: Boys - that s enough! TRACY: Thanks for a lovely treasure hunt Elaine. Must dash. Jenny s promised to take me out for a pizza. You can help Duke with the lunch. JENNY: Got to keep a promise. TRACY: Too right. So. I ll have a family-sized pizza with extra cheese, a megagigantic slice of double chocolate cake and several extremely humungous gut-rotting fizzy drinks. JENNY: TRACY: Tracy!! Ok, ok! Forget the extra cheese. 10
