5 Overview During this presentation Adam Short, owner of Niche Profit Classroom, shows you how an average online marketer created over 300 "under the radar" content web sites that each generate between $500 and $1,500 a month on 100% autopilot. How he taps into unlimited amounts of free traffic, builds massive opt-in lists without even trying, and turns visitors in customers like clockwork. Site Components 1. Opt-in Page. This is to collect leads. 2. Articles, which we re going to use to drive traffic. 3. Sales Page. Which you need to convert your leads into sales.

6 Opt-in Page BettaFishCenter.com is the site we are going to look at. this is the Opt-in Page. you ve probably seen an Opt-in Page before. Opt-in Pages come in different layouts. This one, we re using a very traditional single-column layout. This is the one that I use across almost all my sites; I just like to keep it simple. You can see a lot of fancy Opt-in Pages out there these days, but the fact is that the simple stuff still tends to work the best. The Opt-in Page is also the Home Page. what I ve done is I ve gone out, and I ve found a market where I know there s a very hot audience of people who want to buy stuff. then I thought, Well, what can I offer them that would be of value? doing a little bit of market research, I found that in the betta fish market, people really just want to know how to care for their betta and keep it healthy. So, when you find that key point in a market, you start crafting your offer around that. For betta fish, if we scroll down a little bit, you ll see here that I m offering a free minicourse. At the top, there s the headline. Who Else Wants the Happiest, Healthiest Betta Fish That Lives Twice as Long as the Average Pet Betta? Basically, that s saying, Who wants to keep their betta alive? Pretty much everybody who owns a betta fish. You scroll down a little bit, and I said, Well, now I m going to give you a free piece of content that s going to enable you to do that. That s the free mini-course. This is the one-two punch. I use this across almost all my sites. this free mini-course is-, this is one of the keys to really making a lot of money with this. So, you can see, if we scroll down a little bit, is the Opt-in. It s just below the bullet points. And, when somebody fills in their Opt-in, they begin receiving this mini-course. it s about 14 days. that s a key point. Building a list isn t hard. But it s building the relationship with the list that people fall short on. a lot of people make the mistake of giving away, like, a free PDF or a free video or something. that can be effective. But it s not going to be effective unless you have follow-up happening consistently over a period of time.

7 So, this free mini-course, it does everything. It automates that follow-up, and it gives people something of value. So, when people are opting in, they re getting one per day for two weeks. the s, there s kind of a magic ratio to maximizing your profits with this. You want about 60% of your s to be content and 40% to be selling. We have tested the heck out of this because this right here, what you re looking at, this is like the heart of the system, and this is where the money s made is through this mini-course. We have actually turned this into a template. we ve just rolled that out to all our niches. it s like the core stayed the same, but we just customize them a little bit for the niche we re going into. Maybe another niche we re in is geckos. Leopard geckos. another one is cichlid fish and so on. We just swap out betta fish with the name. See? we ve tested this, and we ve got it converting really well. I ll talk later about how you can actually view these s if you want to apply them in your own business. I m going to scroll down a little bit more now. you ll see here on the home page are a bunch of testimonials. I always like to add a lot of testimonials to these sites. People don t do that enough. Number One, it provides a lot of content, which the search engines like. Number Two, it gives your site a lot of social proof and credibility. It makes it look established and that people are getting value from it, and it s going to significantly increase your Opt-in rate.

8 Now, if you re worried, like, I don t have any testimonials, I wouldn t recommend making them up. There s a very simple technique I call The Testimonial Cruncher, which we use to pull in really, really high-quality testimonials quickly. Like all these testimonials you re looking at on this page came in within, like, a two-hour period. Articles Number Two, our Articles because now we need to get traffic to the Opt-in Page. There s lots of different ways to get traffic to your sites. the method we always start with is search engine traffic. because it s nice to get a solid base of free traffic coming in automatically and consistently before branching out into some of the other types of traffic like paid traffic. Sometimes I ll just leave it at that and just do search engine traffic, and other times, for some sites, I ll branch out and get more sources of traffic coming in. BettaFish, most of the traffic is just search engine traffic.

9 Now this isn t a course on SEO. I m not an SEO guru by any stretch. But I know some tricks of the trade for getting search engine rankings quickly and easily that I use. You don t have to be an expert, either. I m going to share with you exactly what I do, and I ve been getting results since Very good results, so, it works, and I ll show you what I m doing. It s not complicated, either, which is great. we ve gone into the second part of the site, and you ll see on the left there are links to articles. those are just a bunch of articles I ve added over time. But over here on the right is the main menu. those are like my seven core articles. every site that you create, you want to start with five to seven articles, and you want them to be linked to from your sidebar. I m going to go into one of those; we ll go into Betta Behavior. On the left, you ll see, is the article content. then on the right, you ll see, is the sidebar.

10 through a lot of testing and if you test yourself, you ll find this nine times out of ten, that you want your Opt-in box in the upper right on your page. Because that s where you re going to tend to get the highest conversion rate. so you ll notice that every Article Page still has an Opt-in box. that s because you want to make sure that you re collecting Optins no matter where your traffic s going on the site. then on the left is the content. The way that this site s getting most of its traffic is through the search engine, so if you go to Google, and you type in betta behavior, you can see the page actually listed. it s in the free results. that s the case for many different articles on the site. so people are clicking that article coming back, opting into our funnel, our marketing funnel, and then going through the process of being converted from a lead to a sale. So, I ve already talked a little bit about this, but why search engine traffic? Number One, it s free. Number two, it s highly targeted, and Number Three, it s automated. We ll talk about that as we keep going here.

11 Sales Page The third component is the Sales Page. if we scroll down a little bit, you ll see on the right there is an ad to my Sales Page. Click that. We go here. Now, what s important to know here is that this Sales Page is part of the marketing funnel, which starts with collecting a lead. The way that most people are hitting the Sales Page is not through clicking that ad, but they re getting an at some point during the mini-course sequence. inside is a call to action, which directs them back to the Sales Page. that s important. That s what works best in internet marketing is starting with the Opt-in, warming them up, building the relationship, and then asking for the sale. Not just sending them straight to a Sales Page without doing any of the warm-up first. That s how you re going to see really, really good conversions in these little, obscure niche markets.

12 One thing to note, by the way, is you can also do this as an affiliate marketer. You don t need to have your own product. if you were to do this as an affiliate, you wouldn t have a Sales Page. You would just have an Opt-in Page, Articles, and then in your mini-course, you d be promoting someone else s product and sending your traffic to their Sales Page. Not your own. We ll talk more about that as well going forward. ClickBank Another thing that you ll notice is that we re using ClickBank. If you were to click one of these links, you d be taken to check out through ClickBank. ClickBank, if you re a product owner, it s really, ClickBank s a key player. I just want to show you, because ClickBank in addition to the search engines, ClickBank sends these sites a ton of traffic.

13 For those who don t know who ClickBank is, it s basically a marketplace that specializes in digital products, and it brings product creators together with affiliates. They re basically an affiliate network, and affiliates earn a commission for selling the products that vendors create. ClickBank tracks everything and sends out everybody s payments. ClickBank can be really powerful if you re a product owner, and so we use them as our payment processor, they get a ton of traffic. They re used by most top info publishers, and there s literally tens of thousands of affiliates in the ClickBank marketplace looking for products to promote. If you can get your product in front of those people, you stand to do very well.

14 Now the thing about ClickBank is there s a technique for doing this. What you want to understand is that affiliates choose the products that they re going to promote based largely on their ranking in the ClickBank marketplace because the higher you rank, the more sales you re getting, and affiliates know that. The higher you rank, the more affiliates will promote you because they know that you have a proven product. If that makes sense, so, the good news is it s actually really, really easy to get to the top of ClickBank. If you go to the marketplace, and scroll down a little bit go into Home and Garden and Animal Care and Pets. You ll see Betta Care Made Easy is there. I m pointing that out because ClickBank sends us so much traffic. You generate a lot of revenue that way through ClickBank, so. Now getting Betta Care Made Easy near the top of the marketplace, again, it was very easy. In this screenshot, we re on Page Two. If you re on Page one or two, that s where you want to be. Just start going to Page Three and onward, it s harder to attract affiliates, but when you get to Page One or Two, affiliates will see your product, and it doesn t matter what niche you re in. You re going to start getting affiliates promoting you. Passive Profits Formula If we look here at this diagram, this is the strategy. First we ll go through the strategy, then I ll show you how to implement the strategy, so you have your site.you re going to go into a non-competitive market that s very easy to make money in. Okay, that s the strategy, and you re going to build a very simple site that consists of an Opt-in Page and Articles. Possibly a Sales Page. You re going to be doing some cool SEO tricks to get your site moving up to the top of the search engines, Google, Yahoo, etcetera, and you re going to start getting traffic back to your pages, because you re in such a noncompetitive niche, it s going to be really easy to do this, you ll see that. I m going to prove that as we go.

15 Then, when that happens, you re going to start making sales because you have this funnel setup that works. I m going to show you my actual templates that convert. You can use the same ones. So you can see conversions, you don t have to be a great copyrighter. When you start making sales, you re going to start moving up ClickBank. Here s the thing. It only takes maybe, in these little markets, between one and five sales to get to the top two pages in ClickBank. That s it. It s like instantly overnight, you go from obscurity to the top of ClickBank. Now, if you have your own product at that stage, of course, affiliates are going to start seeing that, and they re going to start sending you traffic. Now you have two forms of really high-quality free traffic coming back to your site. That s a great way to get started. Now, again, you can leave it at that, or you can start piling on more forms of traffic, which we ll talk about as we go. Here s your action plan, I promised at the beginning of the call that I would share my full blueprint for doing this. That s what we re going to do now. It s not just a matter of picking a niche that you think might be good and then putting up a page. There s a lot that s happening behind the scenes that you need to be aware of. I m going to basically tell you what all those things are right now. Even though we re going to be able to get through this stuff fast, if you don t sit through this and understand this stuff, and you go try to use the software, it s not going to work out. Pay close attention here, take notes.

16 Your Action Plan Find a Hot Market There s a Three-Step Market Research Process, and the first step is finding Market Motivation. You want to answer the question definitively, is the audience willing to spend money in this market? You want the answer to be yes. It has to be yes. The more money they re spending, the better.

17 Because it means that they re going to spend money on what you re going to offer them. Because you re going to identify the pain point in the market and go straight for it so that they re not going to be able to say no. then Market Size, how big is the audience? The bigger, the better. The more traffic you ll get. Finally, you want to answer the question, Market Competition, how hard is it to obtain Top 10 search engine rankings? Not every market in the search engines is the same level of competition; some are very easy to get rankings in, some are not. You want competition to be low so that you can get really easy rankings and not have to break your back doing SEO. This is, again, because the foundation of our traffic is search engine traffic. So we want our first channel of traffic to be successful. We want to go into noncompetitive markets so that we don t have to work too hard, yet we see great results. Now fortunately for us, there are thousands of markets out there that meet these criteria. I mentioned that at the beginning of the call, there s just so much potential. Once you know how to do this, you can just have a field day with it. Let s start with Market Motivation, now, there are a couple places you can go to find market motivation. The one we re going to talk about today is ClickBank, so you can just use ClickBank and not the other places and make great money online, so don t worry about the other ones for now. Now, a quick note. I recommend starting out as an affiliate marketer. Not as a product owner. Simply because you can skip the product creation process, and you can start making money online faster. This is just a great way to start out. You don t have to do that, but I recommend it. It s just easier, faster way to money, and then later you can create your own products. Going forward, we re going to do market research together and choose a market as if we re an affiliate, and we re going to be promoting a product., the great thing about ClickBank is that they list a wide variety of info products in their marketplace. That way potential affiliates like us can see how well these products are performing. In other words, ClickBank tells us at a glance which markets are hot and which markets are not. They do that through a number called Gravity. You may have heard of Gravity before. But Gravity s pretty much useless unless you have a system and a framework to plug it into. Understand how to use Gravity. that s what this webinar s all about. It s giving you that framework, so, here s how to use Gravity in a very specific way.

18 If you go to ClickBank, there s a market in Home and Garden that looks pretty good. I ve gone into the Home and Garden category in ClickBank. Scrolling down a little bit is this product My Shed Plans. what jumped out at me about this is that the Gravity s so high. The Gravity s what that basically means is ClickBank s telling you how well the product s selling. The way to interpret Gravity is that at least 60 affiliates have made a sale in the last week. Notice that phrase at least. It could be much more than that. Gravity is not exact. ClickBank doesn t make it exact, but they give you a general definition, which is that at least 60 affiliates have made a sale in the last week. There could be more affiliates making sales, and there could be more sales being made then by each affiliate., when I say, made a sale, it means, made a single sale. some affiliates could be making much more. But, anyway, it s a baseline, and it s a minimum of how well this particular product s performing. You can usually triple or quadruple Gravity, and that s a more accurate view of how much volume s actually being done. But let s just assume 60. Sixty sales a week. If we look at that, and then we look at the initial dollar per sale over here, you can run some numbers, and you can see how much this vendor s actually making. It s significant. But the question is that a high Gravity is that low, does that mean I should go into the market or not? Well, what you want to do is have some baselines and have some filters. What I want to show you now is accelerated market discovery, how to find hundreds of hot markets at the click of a button. if you go back to ClickBank, and we go into Advanced Search, look, that magic number I m talking about is six. What I ve found doing this for a long time is that you want to go into markets with Gravity higher than six, so seven or higher.

19 That s the first filter you want to be aware of. you can go to this Advanced Search area, and now you can use it with some purpose, and you can click Show Items with Gravity Higher than six and run a filter, run a search, and it will pull back all of the proven sellers in the marketplace. Here it says, displaying results 1-10 out of 973. You know, when there s tens of thousands of products in the ClickBank marketplace, and you ve just pulled back that little sliver of top sellers, you re in very good shape. 973 hot products to choose from. Now you take those, and you list them out in a document. The document s going to be pretty long at this stage. But now we re going to move to Step Two, Market Size, and that list is going to shrink. We re going to move to Step Three, Market Competition; it s going to shrink more. You re going to be left with maybe 50 markets that you know you can make money in. then you re going to implement the rest of the system and make money.

20 Find Money Words Market Size. This is very simple to find out, you just want to take your list of markets and look at the search volume. I use the Free Google Keyword Tool to do this. You want to make sure that the search volume of your Top 10 keywords exceeds a hundred thousand searches per month. That s another one of those key numbers. And, again, I m just telling you from experience having done this so long that that number tends to be the minimum for me where I ll get lots of traffic easily. If it starts falling below that, it s harder to get the kind of traffic I want to get. To find this out, you can just go to Google, type in, keyword tool. It s going to be the first free result. Open it up, type in your market, in this case, its Shed Plans. We re going to do a search. Scroll down, sort by Global Monthly Searches, clicking that tab there. we re just looking up broad matched search volume. Add up the Top 10 results. Just make sure it exceeds a hundred thousand.

21 Now we want to look at market competition. what we re looking for is as little competition as possible because the less competition, the easier it s going to be for us to get Top 10 search engine rankings for our site. Our list has already gotten a little smaller. We ve found market size; it s smaller than it was before. Now we want to find market competition, which is going to make it even smaller. But we re going to be left with those really, really good markets. Now, finding competition is, there s different ways to do this. There s a technique that I ve been using for a long time now that s really worked well for me, and it s called Average PageRank, which you may have heard of before. That s something that s really well known and that SEO professionals and the SEO professional community use a lot to look at competition. But it s not really that well known outside of that group. Just the general internet marketing public likes us. I m going to share it, and again, you might already know it, but if not, you ll learn it tonight, and you ll be able to apply it. It s just a really great way of assessing competition that works.

22 Moving forward, basically, the way that I do it is I look at the Average PageRank of the Top Three most highly searched for terms in the market that I m looking at. PageRank, in case you don t know, it s a number that Google applies to web pages; it goes from zero to ten. Then when Google spiders a website and assesses its value, it s basically assigning it a number. The higher the PageRank, the more value or the more relevant Google is saying that that site is., higher PageRank sites tend to be harder to outrank overall than lower PageRank sites. So, when we re looking at Average PageRank, we re asking ourselves, in this market what is the Average PageRank? If you know that number, you know how hard it s going to be for you to outrank other pages and other sites in the market. And, again, there are some benchmarks we ll be looking at, so, if we go back, and we look at the Top Three keywords, this is the process for doing this. It might be a little bit confusing maybe if you ve never done this before. But just follow along and take notes, and you ll be able to do it. We have our first three keywords there. We re going to find the Average PageRank of each of those. We ll start with the first one, which is Plans for Shed. Again, there are tools that automate all this, but we re doing this the manual way at first. Because you want to understand it. Even though we re doing it manually, you still want to download this free piece of software called SEOquake, which will install directly into Firefox. It installs in about 20 seconds. When you have it installed, what will happen is, when you go back to Google, and you do a search, we re going to do it, in this case, for Plans for Shed.

23 When you do a search, these bars will show up underneath each result. As you can see. There s a bunch of numbers. But the only number we re really interested in at this point is PR, which is PageRank. You can see that that first result there is a PR 3, the second is a PR 6. The third s a PR 1. The fourth s a PR 2. You want to take the Average PageRank of the Top 10 results for the keyword. We would add those numbers up for the Top 10 results and divide by 10. Then you want to repeat that process for your other two keywords. You ll end up with an average for each of your three keywords. Then, your results will look something like this, so Plans For Shed, we had, it was about a 2.4 when I did this earlier. Plans for a Shed was a 2. Then Plans Shed was 2.6. Now you can take a final average. you want to take a final average, which is basically taking those three numbers that we just looked at and dividing by three. So you can see that we ve ended up with a 2.3. Okay?

24 Going forward to our Competition Scale, we now have a number. Remember, it s 2.3. Now, again, you have a framework to work from, you can plug it into this scale, and you can see where it falls, so, you really want to be going into markets that are in the dark green. PR 0, 1, or 2. Those are the markets where it s going to be the easiest to get rankings and the fastest as well. PR 3 markets are harder, but it s still, it can be a lucrative opportunity. PR 4 and 5, it gets a little tough. I will pretty much never go into 4 or 5 markets. PR 1, 2, or 3 or 0 are the best ones. Shed Plans was, again, a 2.3, which puts it pretty close to that PR 2, in the dark green. Moving forward now, we can look at our market really objectively, and we can see that the Gravity s greater than six, check, search volume greater than a hundred thousand, check, overall PageRank less than three, check. So all three pass the test. That s how you do it. That s how you want to look at markets. That s a fool-proof method for finding literally thousands of hot, untapped, and highly profitable niche markets.

25 I guarantee you that no one else is doing this. It s so powerful. And, when you go through this process, it s like you are a hundred percent sure that you have a moneymaking opportunity on your hands, and it s just a case now of just implementing the rest of the system. You can do so with complete confidence and not have to worry that you ve made a misstep. This is a really, really great feeling, especially if you re not making any money yet online. Knowing that you re going to is really a great feeling. Step Two, now that you have your market, is, within that market now remember, we want to create articles. We want to get those articles ranked in Google so that traffic will be pulled back to our sites, so that it ll Opt-in, and they ll go through our marketing funnel. But you don t want to just write your articles about any old topic. Let s say your topic is Shed Plans. You don t want to just randomly choose various Shed Plan topics. You want to write your articles around certain keywords. Now don t let anyone tell you, by the way, that keywords are irrelevant now that Google s made their Panda and Penguin changes. That s not the case. It s much easier now to over-optimize your site. But you still want to target keywords strategically as long as your site still provides an overall thorough and comprehensive resource for your users. And we ll talk about how to make sure that happens as we go forward. But no matter what, I always make sure that I write my first batch of articles about Money Words, and it still works really, really well. A Money Word is basically a trick. It s a method for slipping in under the radar and seeing results quickly in the search engines. If you combine this with going into a noncompetitive market like we were doing. The results just happen so fast. You re choosing noncompetitive keywords in noncompetitive markets. When you target Money Words, you typically will see rankings within days or weeks. It takes a minimal commitment of effort and time. Maybe 15 minutes every other day until your rankings appear which is usually within a few weeks. Their rankings endure for years. Because nobody s really targeting these keywords, nobody s trying to push you down out of the search engines, so you tend to stay plastered to the top, Super Glued, and that results in long-term, automated traffic to your sites. That s passive. A Money Word s simply a high search volume, low competition keyword, one that s easy to rank for, but gets lots of traffic.

26 We use this in our business all the time; it s called The Money Word Matrix. That s what we ve called it at least. It assesses any keyword that you want to run through it. your keywords will rank either as Poor, Fair, Good, Excellent, or Jackpot. Poor and Fair keywords are the keywords that you don t want to be targeting. Those are the keywords that, they re just not good enough. Then the keywords that are Good, Excellent, and Jackpot are the ones that you should be targeting. those are the low competition, high search volume keywords. Let s run a keyword through this matrix and just see how it works. If we go back to our list, and let s say we want to possibly write an article about Storage Shed Plans. Take that keyword, look at the search volume, which in this case is 33,100. Now, go back to Google, type your keyword in, and find the Average PageRank for the keyword, which in this case is a 2.5. then you can plug those numbers into the matrix. 33,100 searches per month. 2.5 PageRank. Line the arrows up, and you can that the keyword s Excellent.

27 Shed Plans is a great market, it has lots of great keywords in it. But you still want to dig, and what you re going to find as you do this is that most of your keywords are not going to be ones you should be targeting. And, if you re to do this manually, you re going to need to export your entire list from Google, run each keyword through The Money Word Matrix, and then select the best five to seven, and you might have thousands of keywords to run through. But it s well worth it because you re going to end up with just the best ones. Then those are the keywords you re going to be writing your articles about. Creating Your Website (Funnel) Once you have your market, and you have your keywords, you can create your actual funnel. Creating Your Website, again, I m going to talk about how I do this later.

28 I use some special tools to get websites out there really fast that are all optimized pretty much already, without me having to do a lot of work. But, if you don t have access to those things, then you really are going to need to use a third party tool of some kind to build your site. Have some site builder. Whether it s WordPress or something else. If you re going the third party route, I would recommend WordPress. Basically you know now what your site should consist of. You know how those pages should function. Remember, an Opt-in Page and Articles are really what you need at this stage. You need to buy a domain, choose the site builder like WordPress, and choose a template that you re confident will convert. If you re in doubt, check out BettaFishCenter.com. Then load your articles up, load your Opt-in Page up, get your mini-course loaded to AWeber, and launch your site. That s what the steps would be if you re doing it by hand. There s just no avoiding that if you re going with third party software. In terms of Content Creation, this is very important. You want to make sure that you create your mini-course correctly and create it well. And, again, I m going to talk about how you can access my mini-course templates that I ve been using successfully for years, I ll talk about that in a bit. But if not, you can always Opt-in to BettaFishCenter.com, for example, and you can go through my mini-course and see those. See if you can apply them to your own niche. That s probably the biggest shortcut. So basically I m saying, yes, you can take what I ve done, and you can model it, that s fine, please don t copy it, but you can model it. Then, as far as your articles, you re going to need to actually create those articles. a lot of people don t like writing which is understandable, I don t really like writing myself, but it s just one of those things that, if you want to do well on the internet today, you really need to do some writing. You re going to have to. It s best to just accept that. You only need five to seven articles, so it might take you half a day, depending on how fast you are at writing, to get these articles knocked out. But once they re done, they re done. So, yeah, there s some work there. But you just have to get through it. These articles, by the way, they should be well written. If you re not confident in your own writing, then find someone who can write the articles well. You don t want to use spun content, and you don t want to write poor quality content. It needs to be of a certain standard. the easiest way to come up with, What is that standard? is just to ask yourself, If I were to come across this and read it, would it give me value? if the answer s yes, then you ve written a good enough article.

29 But you really have to look at it in that way. Because Google s not going to rank poor quality articles. Even if you ve chosen a noncompetitive niche in a noncompetitive market. Those are the three keys: noncompetitive niche, keywords, and then quality content. That s the magic combination. Then you sprinkle in a mini-course. Setup Your Traffic Channel Now is setting up your traffic channel once you have your funnel out there, and this is just going to happen very easily and quickly through doing some very basic SEO. Then, once your sales start coming in, you can start piling on more sources of traffic. I ll talk about what those are. But you may just decide to stop at the SEO stage and you might be happy with its earnings at that point. You re done, you can move on to another niche. You can make the decision at that time. But in terms of how to get your site ranked now, it s still pretty straightforward, even though Google s changed some things; it s still a straightforward process. If you ve written quality content, and you re in a good niche, etcetera, like we already are, you really at this stage just need some quality backlinks from other sites pointing-, which are links from other sites pointing to yours. I m sure you ve heard of these before. This is what Google s looking for, for the most part, to rank your sites. But it s a little different now than it used to be, especially in the last year. Backlink-building has changed. You really have to find high quality links now. What s great is that people, they think that it s so much harder to find high quality links; it s actually really easy to do. it takes less links now to see good rankings than it used to. Before, you might spend a ton of time finding low quality links, tons of them, but now you re spending even less time finding high quality links. It s just as easy to do; it s just a different approach. I m going to share with you the backlinkbuilding technique that I use almost exclusively.

30 You ve probably heard of article marketing. That used to be one of the easiest ways to get backlinks. It was just the rage; it was such an easy way to get SEO traffic. But article marketing really isn t that effective, anymore. It used to be so easy just to write an article, it could be a crappy article, get it listed on E-zine Articles and it s going to get ranked. It s going to get you a nice backlink. Doesn t really work that way, anymore. But the good news is there s a replacement technique that s just like article marketing. That s just as effective in today s internet as article marketing used to be. It s just as easy. It sounds harder, so less people are probably doing it, but it s just as easy. That s guest blog posting. Because, when you re guest blog posting, it s just Google sees it as a higher quality, more unique link. Let me show you how easy it is to find a guest blog post, I m going to actually open up my browser. Let s say I want to get a backlink to my BettaFish site. All you really need to do is think about, What category is my site in? because you want to get an on-topic link, so I think, Well, its betta fish. Well, what are betta fish? They re fish. Okay. They re a type of fish. What is that? Well, it s a pet. Okay. I want to look for sites that are about pets and pet care, and that s where I want to get my links from. what you do is you go back to Google and type in, pet care guest blog. So you come up with your category and then type in the word blog or guest blog after it. Then, you ll see all these pet care blogs. what s cool is that you re finding blogs right now that Google respects and likes. Because they re ranking them well. As you can see, they re ranked. That s a good first step. You re finding sites that Google likes.

31 A lot of blogs these days really encourage guest posts. Especially if they re quality guest posts. Because it s free content for them. Content is what Google wants. It s really win-win. It s the future of link-building and what works today. This blog, you ll notice in the left, they have a link that says, Guest Posts. You can click it, go to the Guest Post area, and submit a post. Submit your blog post, so you would write a post, maybe it s about how to cure betta diseases or something related to your niche, and you would submit it to them, they would review it, post it, and put a link back to your site, like this page here. If you go down a little bit, you can see that they re linking back to this author in their bio. This is important; you want to make sure that the links that you re getting are do follow links. Alright? That they re not no follow links.

32 A really easy way to do that is to install a plugin into Firefox called NoDoFollow. NoDoFollow. Go to Google, type that in. just install this into Firefox. When you do, you can go back to a page like the one we re looking at here. Because you want to make sure that your link is going to be a good one. If you go to Tools in Firefox now, and go, click on NoDoFollow; it ll highlight all the links on the page. If it s in purple, it means it s a Follow link. If it s in orange or pink, it means its NoFollow. You want to make sure that this link right here, the one that you re going to be getting a link from in your bio, is purple. This one is. That s good. If it s NoFollow, Google s not going to follow it; you re not going to get any credit for it. That s all backlinking is. Now what you want to do is make sure that you are building backlinks and getting at least a link per day for around two weeks. As you followed all the steps that I ve taken you through up to this point, you launch your site, get at least a backlink a day for two weeks, you will see results. You will see rankings. If you ve built your funnel out like I ve shown you how to do, you re going to start getting Opt-ins and making sales. Again, because you ve entered a noncompetitive market, and you re targeting noncompetitive keywords within that market, you re going to see those rankings quickly in the search engines, and now we re can look at our strategy overall. You can see the system hasn t changed that much in the last few years.

33 It still works the same today as it did five years ago. You re going to go out and get your blog posts submitted to various high quality blogs within your niche. Then those blogs are going to link back to your articles, maybe back to your Home Page. You re going to start moving up Google for these noncompetitive keywords in this noncompetitive yet highly lucrative market. If you have a product, you ll start moving up to ClickBank as well. But if you don t, this system right here will be it, and you can make great money as an affiliate. Once you have a funnel that s converting like this, you can start piling on other sources of traffic like YouTube traffic, Facebook traffic. There are opportunities for getting lots of traffic from interest. There s tons of ways to get traffic. Those are just a couple. There s also lots of ways beyond guest blog posting to distribute content and get traffic back through that content. Once you have a funnel working, you re set. Niche Profit Classroom Alright, so, what I want to do now is move to the next part of this call and talk about how you can do everything that I just talked about but skip all of the tedious manual labor and just do it quickly and automatically using some of the software I was talking about. I mentioned earlier that my first 26 sites took several years to create, and then I went from that number to over 300 sites, profitable sites, within six months. And, again, that was because I realized I needed tools to automate this stuff. that s exactly what I went out and did is invested in getting those tools created and making sure they were the best tools I could have created, and then I started using them. Just seeing amazing results.

You have your markets, and you have your keywords, you re already halfway through the entire process. Now, you need to sit down and write your content. That might take you the rest of the day for your first site. You start fresh the next day. This is the day that you re actually going to be launching your site. 37 You probably know that, when you re building a site to make money, you can go to wicks.com or squarespace and build a really, really pretty site really easily. But those sites aren t going to make any money. They re just not. When you re an internet marketer, and you re building to create conversions, there are literally hundreds of things that you have to take into account. It s all based on, How am I going to get this user to take action and give me money? What this site-builder does is it takes all of those things into account for you. builds them into your pages. Page color, page layout, structure, where your Opt-in boxes go, how they re formatted, what they say, even suggestions for the kind of language you should be using on your pages is all built into the builder. When you load your articles up, choose your template, make your tweaks, and press Publish, you have a site out there that s primed to make money, it s a marketing funnel built to make money. This is exactly what I use to build my own sites. Once you have your core site, you need an Opt-in Page. This is another area where a lot of internet marketers fall short, because an Opt-in Page is one of those pages that has to convert. To get it to convert, you have to have a certain layout, and you have to have compelling language on the page. But what if you re not a great copyrighter? What if you don t know about copyrighting, and you don t have months to learn how to become a great copyrighter? Well, that was the problem I faced. To this day, I m not a good copyrighter at all. But I was able to collaborate with a really good copyrighter and have this software created. Basically, it s a fill-in-the-blank tool where you fill in some information about your niche, and it will generate a high-converting Opt-in Page for you. I use this on my sites. You fill in some details about your niche, choose a template, and press Publish. Your Opt-in Page is live.
