3 Your OBA I. Filling Out Your OBA 1. Your Outside Business Activities are located under the tab titled Outside Business Activities. This is where you will access your OBA form to fill it out and submit it. 2. Click on Click here to create a new Outside Business Activity Form to generate the form. 3. Once you click on the link, you are brought into the form and placed on the Workbook tab to fill out the workbook. You can navigate by clicking on the Guide Me button, or by clicking on the table of contents on the left side of the screen. Page 3
4 4. When clicking the Guide Me button, you will be directed to the next required field. A blue box will appear on your screen showing you what to complete. 5. Artifacts (Attachments) If you need to attach any documents during this process you can do so by clicking on this tab and selecting Click here to upload an artifact. Artifacts are any attachments that provide additional information about your submission. Artifacts can be any file type (pdf, jpeg, txt, or any office document). 6. Task List This tab will display any tasks that you have to complete. Click on Select and you will be directed to the next step. Page 4
5 7. Status This tab will allow you to change the status and reply to or start discussions. Also see Responding to Your OBA on page 7. Page 5
6 II. Submitting Your Outside Business Activity Form 1. Once you have completed the form and you click the Guide Me button, you will be prompted with a green task bar to submit your form for review. When you click on the green bar, the status of your form will change to Submitted and your form will be submitted for review. 2. Once your form is submitted, you will be directed back to your home page. You will now see the status has changed from Assigned to Submitted. Page 6
7 III. Responding to Your OBA 1. If the reviewer of your OBA needs more information, they could push the submission back to you. You will see that the status of the OBA in your queue has changed to Response Required. To access the OBA, click on the select link next to the OBA activity. This will take you into the form. 2. When inside the OBA you will be placed on the Status tab. Here you will see the discussion started by the reviewer. You can respond to the Reviewer as well as start a new discussion. To do this, click on reply or start a new discussion. Page 7
8 3. Once complete you can resubmit the form by changing the radio button from Response Required to Response Completed. Then you can select the blue link Click here to set selected assignment status. You will see a confirmation box asking you if you want to change the assignment status. Click OK to continue or Cancel to go back. 4. Once complete you will be directed back to the home tab. You will see the status has changed from Response Required to Response Completed. Page 8
9 IV. Completing the Objected Process 1. If the reviewer of your OBA has objected your OBA, you will see the status has changed to Objected. 2. Once in the OBA, you will see an additional topic appear in the table of contents. You will need to complete the Acknowledgment of Objection section. Page 9
10 3. Once you have completed this, you will see the green task bar at the top of the screen. Once you click on the green task bar, you will be directed back to the home page. V. Printing Your OBA 1. If you need to print out the OBA and/or Artifacts (attachments), you can go into the form at any time by clicking on Select. You will click on the Status tab in your form. Then you can hover over the print menu on the left hand side of your screen. Select Workbook or Artifacts, this prompts you to Open or Save the PDF of your OBA. Page 10
11 VI. Multiple OBAs 1. If you have multiple OBA submissions, you will be able to sort by each column to make searching for them easier. Page 11
