1 Step 3, Lesson 2 The List Builders Lab Setting Up a High-Converting Opt-in Page Hi there. One of my favorite parts of List Builder s Lab is being able to show you how to take action. That s exactly what we re going to do in today s lesson. We are Setting Up A High-Converting Opt-In Page. We are going to use my favorite tool, Lead Pages, to make it happen. Here s What You ll Learn! My Not-So-Secret Tip to Create Quick Opt-In Pages.! Lead Pages: Why I love Them and Why You Should Too. They are an essential tool to your list-building strategy.! You can see if you love it as much as I do. The Pursue Simple Rule For Opt-In Page Creation Do not try to do it yourself. Not only will it take you way too much time, I m 99% confident it won t convert well. Don t waste your energy on things where your skills won t be maximized! I would love to see you spend more time on the content you create in your lead magnet and then leave the hard stuff about creating an opt-in page to Lead Pages. They do a really good job. Page 1

2 Lead Pages My Tool Of Choice Why Lead Pages?! Each page is tested and retested to ensure it will convert.! No need for coding or designing. It s a drag and drop tool. There is a lot of functionality with that as well but my favorite thing is that I don t have to hire a designer to make my pages look great and I don t have to deal with any kind of coding because I m not that kind of girl.! When you get the hang of it, you can set up an opt-in page in less than 10 minutes. No joke! Once you have the copy written, you know what the headline is going to be, you know what your image is going to be, and you jump into the tool and set it up, I promise you, you can get that thing up and running quickly.! With Lead Pages, you can also crate webinar replay pages, thank you pages, shopping cart pages, and Google Hangout pages. There are so many things you can do inside Lead Pages. It is not just for your opt-in page. Just know that with that 60-day free trial, if that s something you want to try out, you ve got the keys to the kingdom. There are a lot of different things you can do for your marketing inside of Lead Pages.! Above-the-Fold Info Before we jump into Lead Pages, I want to point out some really important details about your opt-in page. The first one is that Lead Pages make sure you have your most important information above the fold. You have seen this example of my Product Maximizer before. But, as you can see, I ve got the image, the headline, and most importantly, the button all above the fold before you actually scroll down and read more. That s one thing that Lead Pages does really well. Almost all of their templates have one button above the fold. That is crucial to your list-building success. Page 2

3 Two-Step Registration One of my favorite functionalities, and you will see me use this one a lot, a two-step registration. They have done a lot of testing on this and they have found that doing the two-step registration actually boosts signups. That s why I m such a huge fan of it. A two-step registration looks like this: You come to the opt-in page and click Yes, give it to me! and a pop-up box appears. The pop-up box will get your name and . Just by adding the button before people see that they need to give you their name and , I think it s more of a mindset thing where it just makes it really easier. They can read and then click the button. The only thing you have to do after clicking the button is sign up, you are good to go and on your way. Two-step registration is something I highly recommend. I ll show you how to set it up inside Lead Pages. Functionality This is really important when you are using Lead Pages. You are going to integrate it with your service provider. Inside Step 5 I talk all about marketing. I am actually going to give you a grid of different marketing services, the pros and cons of each of them. If you haven t yet chosen an service provider, don t worry because we re going to address that in Step 5. But, when you do choose one and you get into Lead Pages, you re going to integrate it so that when you get a new lead and get the name and from a Lead Page opt-in page it will go directly into your service provider. This is really important. A Look Inside As promised, I want to take you inside lead pages to show you around and basically get you familiar with how to get started. Page 3

4 Subdomain When you go into Lead Pages, the first thing you will do when you are setting up your account is choose a subdomain. A subdomain is basically the name you are going to give your URLs so that when people come to your opt-in pages they will see part of this in that long URL. Don t worry because I m going to show you how to host your Lead Pages on your own website through your WordPress site. We ll get to that a little bit later. But right off the bat you ve got to choose a subdomain. You can t change it so choose wisely. Hopefully you can just choose the name of your website like my husband, Hobie, did here (on the slide screen): gethiredasafirefighter.leadpages.co is his subdomain. You don t have to think too long and hard about this. Hopefully it s just your name or the name of your website or your business name. But, choose a subdomain name to get started. Once you do that, you are off to the races. Initial Integration You are going to integrate your service provider with Lead Pages. Let me show you what that s going to look like. When you get inside of Lead Pages, you will see a drop down in the upper right corner. I want you to click there. You are going to click on Integrations. Lead Notifications will likely already have a green check mark meaning that it is integrated. I want you to completely ignore that. I do not want you to use Lead Integrations, which is basically a workaround if you don t have an service provider. But, you definitely want to have an service provider to do list building right. I want you to find your marketing service in this list. If, for some random reason it s not in this list, you can contact support at Lead Pages and they will help you get integrated. But you will likely use AWeber, MailChimp, GetResponse, or ConstantContact. Those are usually the most popular ones to get started with. But, let s pretend you are going to use AWeber. Page 4

5 If you click on AWeber you will see a box that pops up. You will see a big blue button that says, Connect to AWeber. Just ignore the copy/past part of it because that s for HTML and is totally not necessary. All you need to do is click on Connect to AWeber and a pop-up box will appear. They are assuming you have already set up your service provider and that s what you want to do before you jump into Lead Pages. If you use AWeber you have a login to AWeber and you will log in. By logging in you will integrate the two accounts. It is totally safe, believe me. Go ahead and log in and it will push you back to Lead Pages and it should say, AWeber is connected. When I did this I actually got an error message that said it wasn t connected. I then waited just one minute and, literally, it connected. I didn t do anything. Sometimes you will find glitches in all of the technology we use. If you get a not connected error, give it a second and hopefully it will refresh itself. Once I am connected, I am good to go. It s not like this for all of the service providers. Let s just say you wanted to use MailChimp. When you click on MailChimp you will see that you have to input an API Token and then integrate Lead Pages with MailChimp that way. I love Lead Pages because I do feel they cater to the beginner. If you ve never done this before they have you covered. Right away, when I went into MailChimp, a little box in the lower right corner popped up that offered help. I clicked there and they showed me a video of where to get the MailChimp API. They are definitely wanting to help you if you get stuck along the way. Use the Lead Pages support if you need to. Those are just two examples of integration. The other integrations might look a little bit different. 6 Templates I want to talk to you about the templates inside of Lead Pages. For this, we are going to jump in live. Here we are inside Lead Pages (on the slide screen). I want to direct your attention to one area right off the bat. If you click on Lead Pages on the top navigation bar it will take you to a page that has some great videos to get you started. I want you to watch the Quick Start video and I want you to watch the video How to Integrate with Your ESP ( Service Provider) if you get stuck. But just know Lead Pages has so many how-to videos in here. If you re not seeing this, if you ve already used Lead Pages before, it s actually a drop down. Hobie, my husband, has already set up some Lead Pages, but if you click right here (where it says LeadPages Tips & Tricks in gray) it drops down and you can get even more videos in the knowledge base. I really do want to encourage you to check out some of the Lead Pages videos. They will dive even deeper than I will here today and it s worth checking out. Their videos are really short and they do a good job. I wish I could go that fast but they go through it really quickly so the videos are really short. I think you will find them valuable. But, before we get here, let s jump back. I m on Templates inside of Lead Pages. There are going to be tons and tons of templates. As you can see, there are categories across the top when you are inside of templates. There are custom templates and purchased templates that you can actually buy in their marketplace. But you don t have to buy templates. If you are a member of lead pages you ve got a bunch of templates at your fingertips. You can use Sales pages, Opt-in page (we will be coming back to this one), Webinar registration pages, Upsells, Thank You pages (we ll be coming back to that one), Launch pages, Pre-Cart pages, and Other pages. You ve got a lot of options. I want you to go to Opt-In Pages. When you do that, I like to make sure it says, Free only right off the bat. I think their free options are great. Then I click on Conversion Rate. It says, Sorting by typical Conversion Rate is unique to LeadPages. Lead Pages has a lot of information about what s working for their clients so these are some of the Page 6

7 opt-in pages that are converting the best right now. You can look at all of these pages and see what s going to work best for you. I thought I would point out a few templates that I think are pretty fantastic. Let s scroll on down and I will show you how I have actually changed them around. Here (on the slide screen) is one of my favorites. It is called Smart Product Sales Page, which totally throws you off because it says, sales page, but I use it for one of my opt ins. We re going to use this one as a template because Smart Product Sales Page is one of my favorites. Another one I like is something simple like the Basic Squeeze Page (Aligned to the Right) and (New) Basic Squeeze Page. Both of these look almost identical. They have subtle changes. I really like them because if you have a great image that you can put in the back, it has a pop-up box that tends to work really well. You don t have a lot of space for a lot of bullet points or details so if you need some room to stretch your legs a little bit in terms of explaining your freebie, look at all of the options. The Perfect Squeeze Page (from Justin Brooke) tends to be a good one too. But, quite honestly, I like many of these so I want you to play around with it. Here s how you decide on what template will be right for you: The first thing I want you to do before you jump in here and choose a template is to think of your title, a possible subtitle, the image you want to use, and whether you want to use bullets. What kind of information do you feel is important to put on your opt-in page? If you are going to be running Facebook ads you can usually put a lot of information in your ads. I ll teach you about this inside the Facebook ad bonus, but you can put a lot of information in the ad and then drive to an opt-in page that doesn t really have a lot of information on it because you ve already covered that in your ad. If you re not going to run ads and you are sending people from social media over to your opt-in page you are likely going to need to give some information about what this freebie is all about. Choosing a template that allows you to include some bullet points or detail is probably a good idea. This is just one way to look at it. Or, you can just click on most recent at the top and you can look at the most recent opt-in pages that Lead Pages has added. Again, spend Page 7

8 some time finding one that you think would be really fantastic for what you want to promote. Let s do this, let s go back to Conversion Rate and I am going to find that one template that I think is really fantastic, The Smart Product Sales Page. I am going to click on it and Lead Pages wants to know how you are going to use the page. This is just for their internal purposes. I am going to click on Marketing and then click Save and Continue. When I do that, it takes me directly into my template. The first thing I want you to do is just save it. If you are just looking around to see if you might like it then you don t need to do this. But, if you know you are going to use it, just to be safe, save it. See at the very top where it says, Page Name? I am going to click there and I am going to name my page. Notice that when I name my page it will make its way into the URL. In this case I will say, free cheat sheet and, when I do that, as you can see, it makes its way into the URL. That is fine, but I just want you to be aware of that. Once you do that, click on save. I have now named my Lead Page. It s simple. Now let s get to the good stuff. I m actually going to show you my lead page that I created from this template just so you can see how different it is so that you can get really clear about some customization options. Let s jump over there for a moment. The first thing I want to point out is that if you go to freeguide you will get to this lead page. Notice, it doesn t have that subdomain with the word Lead Pages in it. That s because I m hosting this through my WordPress site. I m going to teach you that trick at the very end. Let s just look at this. This is the template I used. If we scroll through here you can see I added my own images and I ve got a little information here below. So this is what mine looks like. Now, let s jump back to the template. This is the template I started with. You can see there are credit card options, there are a lot more bullets, there are different images to play with, and then a whole section that you didn t see on mine. Below it has an option for a video and then it had more options to buy. Do you see all of that? You didn t see any of that in my opt-in page. Page 8

9 That s the beauty of Lead Pages. You can really change things up. So let me show you some options here. Right away, if you click on something you can change it. So, if you click on the book jacket you can change it. Now, some of these images were already pulled through when Hobie was using Lead Pages so let s just pretend I want to advertise his firefighter book. I click on the image and then I click on Done and it changes it out. Let s say I m not selling anything, I want to give this away as a free cheat sheet. Right away I need to take out all of the credit card options. Do you see (on the slide screen) were I am just clicking Hide? If I want to change the text I just click it. From there I can actually type in a new title. Let s say I don t like the color of the text, I can go over to the left and click on Styles. See where all of the colors show up? I can change the color based on where it might show up on the template. You just need to find primary text color, link hover color, and link color; everything has a different color and sometimes it is confusing to figure out where the title is located in the style area. But, I am guessing it is called the Main Action Color; yep, see how I am changing it around (on the slide screen). Some colors will be linked to other areas on the template. Let s say we want to do a yellow, you want to play with it to get the right color. Then, let s say I don t have a logo so I can hide that. I can change the text. Remember, everything is customizable. That means the background that is blue can be changed. The subtitles change color because they are part of the Main Action Color. So, you are going to have the titles and buttons and subtitles the same color. You can t change that. They are all going to be the same. But, you can change the color in general. As you can see, I had my designer create little icons based on what I wanted them to look like. You can keep their icons or you can change them. I didn t want six bullets, I felt like that was too many. So, I just hid all of the extras. I actually probably spend more time hiding things because I want everything a little bit cleaner with not so much text on my opt-in page. I did a lot of hiding. Page 9

10 When I came to the bottom, I didn t need any of this so I hid all of it. Then, let me show you something cool. I did not use the video. I hid the video. Then, I actually changed some of the layout around. But, as you can see, it s not actually stretching and there is a big blank spot on the right. Sometimes you need to get into the Content area on the left and look around. Let s look at the Video Embed Container and hide it. Then, look at that (on the slide screen), now I don t have a big blank spot that was left when the video was hidden. These are just things you have to learn with each template. But I wanted to show you that because it took me probably a month to figure it out. You ve got to play around. If something doesn t look right start clicking around. You re going to use the Content, in terms of hiding or showing things, and then Style, which is font, color, and all that good stuff. Of course, I hid almost all of this down here (on the slide screen) because I didn t want to sell anything. I just stopped right here. Where it says, Click here to buy, instead of clicking here, we ll get to this in a moment, you will get a pop up and you have to integrate your service provider. But, before you do that, notice when I click in the button I get a little gear. Click on Link Options and you can change the text. You can also actually make it go directly to a URL, which I don t want you to do because this is an opt-in page (if this was a sales page you might have it go to a shopping cart page). You want to show the opt-in form so that is correct, you just want to change the text on the button. You do the same up here as well (on the slide screen); click the link options, change the text. From there we want to work on the opt-in box so that we can get the opt ins. Click on the button and you can change the image. I like to use an image of me to kind of create a personal connection since they are now giving me their personal data, or an image of what they are going to get for free. For Hobie s case, what we did was inserted a picture of Hobie and his captain. Hobie is to the left and his captain to the right. We included their picture. I didn t want a phone number so I got rid of that right away. But, another trick you can do, right now you Page 10

11 need to integrate it with your service provider. The big picture is that your Lead Pages account is already integrated with whatever service provider you integrated it with when you signed up. But now you need to click on Integration Settings (on the left). When you do, you will click on the service provider you set it up with; in this case we used AWeber. Do you see how AWeber showed up in the drop down (on the slide screen)? I don t have any other options because I ve only integrated it with AWeber. Inside of AWeber, before I came over here, I created a list. Inside of AWeber I created a list that said, Cheat sheet opt-in 1. That means that anytime someone signs up for this cheat sheet they will go into a special list. When I go into AWeber, I know all of the people that signed up for the cheat sheet. I set it up in advance. So, coming over the Lead Pages, I can find it in the drop down. Hobie only has two, he has a pretty simple business. He has Cheat Sheet Opt-In and Cheat Sheet Opt-In 1. I just added them for testing purposes. Let s pretend you are only seeing Cheat Sheet Opt-In 1 in here, his cheat sheet. If it doesn t show up, sometimes try to reload it. Now that I have been in AWeber and have already set up my special list, it is showing up in Lead Pages under Integration Settings. When I set up the special list called Cheat Sheet Opt-In 1 inside of AWeber I set it up to collect first name and . So those are the blanks you see on the template. I think it is smart to get first name and . You could just get but I like to call people by their name inside my s so I like to actually make it more personal. I don t want to see you ask for first name, last name, and . That is too much because you don t need their last name in most cases. I also don t want to see you ask for an address or phone number or anything like that not yet, not when we re just doing the basic foundation for list building. The more information you ask for, the less you will get. People have red flags when you are asking for too much. So, name and would be perfect. From here, you might want to change the color of the button or the text inside the button, whatever it might be. But you don t need to worry about any of this. Don t worry about Lead Notifications, Page 11

12 Webinar Host, Facebook Registration. Don t do any of that. Just click Customize This Form. When you do that you are ready to go. Anyone who signs up for this will now go into AWeber. In addition to that, there are a few other things I want you to think about. The first one is once somebody opts in I think it is important that you send them to a thankyou page. Let s go over to my example so I can show you what I mean. When you sign up for my free giveaway we click on Get Your Free Guide Here and I send people to a lead page that says, Your Guide is On It s Way! In the meantime, share it with your Followers! Thanks for signing up for my special guide. Check your inbox for an with the link to download it instantly! It will be there in just a few minutes In the meantime, share this special guide with your friends The more the merrier! It set it up so that when you click on Share on Twitter it actually pops up a tweet that I had written in advance so that people can tweet about it instantly on their own Twitter account. You can do this with Facebook as well. This is one option of a thank-you page. Let s jump into templates and I ll show you a few more thank-you page options. To do that let s click Save because we are going to come back to the opt-in page; but, I just want to show you some thank-you page templates because it s important that you actually have it figured out before you publish the opt-in page. I m going to exit out of the opt-in page since it is saved; we re golden. I m going to go back into Templates and, along the top where the categories are, it says Thank You. I m going to click on Thank You. When I do that you can see that you have options. I used Invite a Friend Thank You Page. Let s click on the template. When you use this page you can customize it. You can see this one (on the slide screen) looks like mine but it s not identical because I always customize my thank-you pages. Let me point something out. When you want people to share this, you don t want them to share the thank-you page. When you write your tweet, the URL that you are tweeting out is to go to the opt-in page. It is the same with Facebook. If you click on Page 12

13 the Facebook share box it says, URL to share on Facebook (leave blank to share this page). You don t want to leave it blank. You want to make sure you are sharing the optin page URL. For me, it would be That way, when people share it on Facebook they are actually going to be sharing my opt-in page. You can play around with the thank-you page. But, whichever thank-you page you decide on, you want to create it in advance, you want to save it, and then publish it. I want you to grab the URL. You could actually have the thank-you page hosted on your WordPress site (I ll get to that in a moment so when I teach you that you can change the way you are doing this). But, for the sake of the training right this second, you will grab the URL, copy it, and click Done. Now let s go back to Lead Pages and when we click on Lead Pages at the top (if we hide the videos), you will see the Free Cheat Sheet; do you see the second one that we created just moments ago? Click on edit. Then, you are going to click the Click Here to Buy Now button again and you will go to Thank you page (in the right hand From column on the left). Click on Thank you page and I do not want you to use the default thank you page. I want you to actually paste your thank-you page in there. Let s talk about that for a moment. The default thank-you page doesn t have enough information on it. It is basically a big green check mark that says, Thanks so much for signing up. Lead Pages created it in case you don t want to create your own thank-you page. But the importance of a thank-you page is to thank people for signing up, tell them to check their because you are sending whatever it is you promised them in just a few minutes, and then, if you want, you can have them like your Facebook page or you can tweet about it, like I showed in the example. Some of those other thank-you page examples have more options. We are going to jump back to a thank-you page option I really like under the Thank You tab. Scroll down, I think Thank You Page is really cool. I used to use this all the time but I haven t been using it for some reason. It is a little more work because it includes a video. Page 13

14 But, especially when you are doing webinars or a three-part video series, something a little more than a PDF, it is cool to make a quick video to say Thanks so much for signing up for my webinar. We are going to be going live in just a few days. In the meantime, you can like us on Facebook and also make sure to check your , I just sent you your unique link to log in to the webinar when we go live. You can say whatever you want. You can customize all of this (you know this now). But, getting a like for your Facebook page on a thank-you page is a great idea. So, I have used this template before. Let me show you one more template I think is really cool. Let s go back to Templates. Then go into Thank You. I really like Double Opt-In Confirmation Page. This one is unique. In this template you are telling people they need to double opt in. We will talk about double opt ins in Step #5 all about marketing. But, if they have to click a link in the to say they really do want to be on your list (that s what double opt in is) this tells them. The thank-you page says, Hold on, there is one more thing you need to do. Check your , find one from us. (All of this is customizable) You could say, Find one from me/hobie/whatever. Then you can tell them to click on the confirmation link and then get all of the awesome bonuses. This can be customized as well. You might want to include the double opt in and have them do one more thing before you send them the freebie. If you want, you can make a video saying, Hey, thanks so much for singing in. You need to click the link in your before I can send you the freebie. So, go check your right now, click the link in the , and then I ll send it to you. I think a video is a cool way to do that. I got off track just a little bit because I wanted to show you all of the examples. Let s go back to editing the opt-in page that we ve been setting up. I just want to show you a few more things before we wrap this up. You know you need to integrate it with your service provider and choose which list it s going to actually connect with. Again, click on any of the buttons to get you to the Integration Settings. Inside Integration Settings you will choose your service provider and the list that you want to work with. Page 14

15 From there, you have other options. You are going to link it to a thank-you page. Then there are a bunch of other things you can do. You can play around with some of these. I m just showing you the ones that are most important for you to known. I don t want to overwhelm you with every detail. Once you start getting into Lead Pages and playing around with it, you will start seeing just how easy it is to manipulate the page in the way that you want to so that you have an opt-in page you feel really confident about. That basically covers the details you need to know to get started. But I need to show you one more really important piece of the puzzle. Are you ready for this? A lot of the time you might want to actually have your opt-in page published on your WordPress site versus on Lead Pages. If you re running Facebook ads, this next step is really important because when you send traffic from Facebook to Lead Pages, sometimes Facebook doesn t like that. They know Lead Pages is all about getting names and s. Facebook is a little bit funny about that. They would rather you send all of your ad traffic to free content in front of an opt in. They aren t saying you can t do it. But, to be really extra safe, when you are running Facebook ads you definitely want to actually host your lead pages on your own WordPress site. Let me show you how to do this because it s easier than it sounds. Once you click on Save you are ready to actually publish your lead page. Click on Publish. You saw this earlier with the thank-you page but you are actually going to get a URL and you can send traffic directly here. I have done it many, many times. But there is another way to do it that I like better. All you need to do is click on WordPress. When you do that you can download the Lead Pages WordPress plugin. If you have a WordPress site you can add a plugin. If you need to Google how to add plugins you can do so. But, when you click on Download Lead Pages WordPress plugin it actually downloads to your desktop. From there you can go over to your WordPress site, which I want to do now because I want to show you how this integrates. Right now we are inside the backend of Hobie s Page 15

16 WordPress site. With plugins, I m not going to get into all the details about how to do it because there are a few different ways. But real quick, if you click on Plugins in the left column and click on Add New, at the top you should see something that says, Upload Plugin. Since I downloaded the plugin to my desktop, I can upload it here. Once I have added the plugin, let me show you what will happen. See where it says LeadPages in the left column? I m going to click on that. That wasn t there before I added the plugin. Now that the plugin has been added, watch how easy this is (on the slide screen). I have already done it a few times, that is why you are seeing items on the screen. But, if you were brand new you would click on Add New and from there it says, Normal Page, Home Page, Welcome Gate, 404 Page. It is asking what kind of lead page you should create. I just want a Normal page, which is going to be my opt in. Where it says, LeadPage to display, all of the opt-in pages you have created inside Lead Pages will drop down. The one we just did was Free Cheat Sheet. So if I click on it I can add my own Custom URL, You can add any title after the / that you want. You can have spaces or just gethiredasafirefighter.com/free. Once I do that I can hit publish and that custom URL will now go to the opt-in page I created but will live on my WordPress site. One of the good things about that is that the URL doesn t actually say Lead Pages. And, if you are going to run Facebook ads, Facebook likes you to do it this way. I just wanted to show you some options here so that you can actually host your lead page on your own WordPress site. Just to be really clear, I am talking about wordpress.org, not wordpress.com. They are different. So, if you have a WordPress site that looks similar to this, this is wordpress.org and that s how you will make it work. I just wanted to make sure that is clear. Let s jump back to the presentation so we can wrap it up. Page 16

17 Where You Might Get Stuck You might get stuck at the Integration stage. Take advantage of your Service Provider s support desk and support tutorials! But more importantly, BE PATIENT WITH YOURSELF. It may take a few tries, but you will get it! All service providers including AWeber, MailChimp, Infusionsoft, Constant Contact, or whatever service provider you are using, have a different way of setting up their special lists so that you can identify where those leads came from. Let s pretend you do have multiple lead magnets. In that case, inside your Service Provider you need to have separate lists so that you know where those people opted in from. It is important for you to know if someone opted in for your How-To Meditate cheat sheet versus your other cheat sheet, How To Do a Sugar Detox. Those are two very different topics and if you have multiple freebies you want to be able to talk to people in a specific way and you want to know what they are interested in. You want to keep those leads separate. You want to put a special tag on them that says, This person signed up for this and this and this, and This person signed up for that and that and that. You want them separate. I am challenged as your trainer/coach because inside each Service Provider it looks and acts different. I can t possibly teach you exactly how to do it inside MailChimp, AWeber, and the other 20 different options you have. So this is where you need to be really diligent. If you get confused as to how to set up AWeber or MailChimp you need to use your Service Provider support desk and support tutorials. We will be there for you inside the private Facebook group but you are really going to need to start out asking questions of your Service Provider and letting them know what you are trying to do and they will help you along the way. Trust in that tool that you have purchased in order to make sure you know how to set it up. It s not the easiest thing you ve ever done, but listen, you re an entrepreneur. You ve got this. You can figure it out, I promise you. But, you need to spend a little time Page 17

18 in this area understanding how Lead Pages will integrate with your Service Provider and how you will identify the people that joined this opt-in page. You want to identify with them inside your Service Provider so you need to set that up in the first place before you go over to Lead Pages. How do you do that? That s where you have to spend a little time inside your Service Provider. I m spending a little extra time on where you might get stuck because I know this might be a biggie for you. Don t give up. I have faith in you. Some of you will breeze right through this and totally get it. I m envious of you because I didn t when I was just starting out. I guess that s why I m so passionate about it.
