2 Go to my.tfc.edu Once here, you will put in your TFC user name and password. You should have received an including your TFC login credentials. If you don t have this, bschenck@tfc.edu to get that. Your user name should be your first name and last name, with no spaces, like it is here Your password is your TFC ID number, with three zeros in front of it. Ex:

3 Click the Online Bookstore Icon

4 Click Order Textbooks

5 Select a Semester Select the semester for which you will be ordering books. In this case, we will be ordering for the Spring 2016 semester. **If you re not sure what semester you re enrolled in, reference your student schedule.

6 Select a Campus Here is where you select to view books for Online classes or Residential. If you are taking online classes, you will select Spring 2016 Online. If you are taking residential, then you will select Spring Students taking both online and residential classes will need to select all their books for the online classes and then repeat the process of adding books to their cart for residential, or viceversa.

7 Select a Department Now, you will select the department for the course you are looking for. To do this, you will need to reference your student schedule. In our example, we will begin with Microeconomics, so we will select ECO for the Department in the Online bookstore.

8 Select Course Number Now it s time to select a course number. Again, reference your schedule for this. You see that the course number comes right after the Department Code, so for our example, we see that the Course number is 213.

9 Select a Section Next you ll see that you have to select a section. Once again, for this information, we will reference the schedule. The course section is the very last number on that top line of the schedule, so in this example, it is OL1A.

10 Select Your Courses Now that we have input all the information, a class should appear. If everything seems to match what you have on your student schedule, click the class to select it. Once you have done that, you can either click continue or add another course, if you are taking more than one class, you need to repeat the process until all courses are selected.

11 Select Your Course Items Once you click continue, you will be taken to select the books for your classes. As you can see for the first class, Microeconomics, there is only 1 book that is required. You can also see that there is only 1 option available for the condition, so you will select Buy New.

12 Select Your Course Items Cont. Now that we ve selected the book for the first course, scroll down to view the textbooks required in the next course, Developmental Psychology. As you can see, this looks a little different. Like before, you have the one required item and you will select the condition listed for that. Beneath that, however, you see choice. This is an optional item for this particular class, so you may choose to purchase it if you would like, but it is not required.

13 Select Your Course Items Cont. Once you have selected all your items for your classes, click continue, at the bottom.

14 Cart Now you should see your cart and, if everything looks correct, click proceed to checkout at the bottom.

15 Bookstore Login Once you click proceed to checkout, you will be brought to a login page. Your login is your TFC address (firstnamelastname@tfc.edu) Your password for the bookstore is NOT the same as your My TFC password. Check your TFC , as you should have received login instructions for the bookstore. **See the next slide for more instructions on that.

16 Book Voucher On the left is an example of what the bookstore voucher looks like in your inbox, so you know what to look for. On the right is what the actual book voucher message looks like. You ll see that you are given your login /password as well as the expiration date for the book voucher.

17 Checkout Once you ve successfully logged in, you will fill in your shipping address and select a shipping method. And click continue.

18 Checkout Continued Now it s time to select a payment method. At the very top, you should see Select available credit(s) to apply to your order, and under that you will see Financial Aid- Dual Enrollment Students, with an available amount. Click the check box to apply that credit to your order and then click continue.

19 Review and Finalize Order Now you will be brought to the review page and, if everything looks correct, click Place Order to finalize your purchase. Once you have done this, you have successfully ordered your textbooks and you should receive a confirmation .
