1 LIST OF WEST INDIES RESOURCES at the Toronto Family History Centre This report lists all the books, fiche and microfilms in the Toronto Family History Centre (FHC) at Don Mills and Eglinton for researchers interested in researching the West Indies. The LDS Church has collected a lot of genealogical information worldwide over the years. This information is available, partly online at partly through family history centers (FHC), and finally at the Family History Library, located in Salt Lake City. Through the online ordering system, a patron can order film or fiche at nominal charges for viewing at the FHCs. These films or fiches contain a vast amount of genealogical and historical information. The online FHL catalog is available at The familysearch.org website also has the online record search and a great deal of genealogical research guidance. The Toronto Family History Centre at 24 Ferrand Drive (Don Mills & Eglinton, ext 111) is one of several Toronto area centres. Volunteers are on hand to lend assistance at each centre. The Toronto FHC has many films which are available at no charge to patrons, including more than 200 films of records from the former British West Indies.
