2 Welcome to our team This workbook is a roadmap for you to follow during the first 30 days of your journey to begin to reach your financial and emotional needs. We are thrilled to have you with us! History tells us that to be successful in business, one needs a simple system. The GETS system is the foundation from which to build upon. Your sponsor will walk alongside you as you build your business. This system is to allow you to be you, while following a Roadmap to success. Key points to keep in mind 1. LISTENING is one of the most important skills that anyone can have. Listening enables us to learn from each other. We learn so much from our up-lines, sister lines, clients and own consultants. 2. LEARNING AND LEADERSHIP go together. We encourage you to read a self improvement, leadership or business book at least minutes a day. 3. LAUGHTER AND LOVE are two over arching values in our TEAM and in life. 3 Let s get started The purpose of this workbook is to help you launch your Arbonne business with momentum to create success. 1. Register as a new consultant and place your first order. Be a product of the product, support your business by purchasing and using products from your own on-line shop. A large portion of your credibility will result from doing so and you will come from a place of integrity. The more you believe in your products the more you will talk about them 2. Within 48 hours, book your First Step Basic Training with your sponsor. At this meeting your sponsor will give you your GETS Coaching folder. In the GETS Coaching Folder you will find a Consultant To-Do List Your sponsor will go through this with you and guide you to where you will find all the relevant documents that you will need to get started (bank details, scripts etc). 3. Complete this workbook. Read and complete this workbook in its entirety. At your First Step Basics meeting you will review with your sponsor your WHY, set your goals and create your action plan. You will learn about Arbonnes Strong Start Programme, which defines what to do in your first 3 months, setting the course for your success. Why? The foundation of your business Take a moment to look at this and think. What is your No 1 Priority? R Financial Freedom Have your own business More spare time Personal Development Helping Others Meeting New People Retirement Leave a legacy 3.

4 1. What is you number 1 priority? 2. Why did you pick that one? 3. Why is that important to you? 4. What are the consequences of not having that opportunity? 5. Why would that worry you? Your WHY Make your why as specific as possible and share it with your sponsor. 1. What were you doing before Arbonne? 2. What have you had enough of? 3. How were you first introduced to Arbonne? 4. What intrigued you about the business? 5. Did you ever have any hesitations? 6. What is Arbonne going to do for you and you family? How important is that to you? 7. What are your Core Values? What is most important to you? What is your financial need and emotional need? Eg. The ability to determine your own hours, to work around your family or to define your income or to fire your boss. Is your Why the desire to be recognised for accomplishments, to have a purpose, to make a difference or to grow personally. (TIP: if you need more space for this question, continue writing on reverse of this page.) 4.

5 What? When you accomplish your why, what will this give you? Once again be specific. 1. What do you want your income to be? Determine your immediate financial goals? 2. Your five year financial goals? 3. What will your life look like? Will you earn enough to quit your job, earn the Mercedes, or make enough to send your kids to the school of your choice. Knowing this, you can now work with your sponsor on a plan of action! When? We are all busy 24 hours a day, so it is important to create a schedule. It is easy to say that you re going to build an Arbonne business, but unless you set aside the time to do it, your dreams can escape you. In your calandar, mark off the time you plan to work. You will want to get a schedule of events from your sponsor and put these dates in your calendar. Where? Determine where you will be working in your home. Have a dedicated space for all of your Arbonne materials. This will help you stay organized and keep your work easily accessible. Who? Create your DREAM TEAM! 1. Who would you love to talk to every day? 2. If you were investing $250,000 in your business who would you hire and put on salary? 3. Make a list of the qualities and characteristics of people you would hire and then make a list of at least five people who have one or more of these qualities. QUALITIES: PEOPLE:

6 Your Top 100 Contacts Who do you know... Who hates their job? Who needs extra money? Who takes great care of themselves? Who is interested in health? At the gym? Named Kathy? Who got laid off? Who works for a large corporation? Who is your Dentist? Doctor? Florist? Lawyer? Pharmacist? Minister/Priest/Rabbi? Insurance Agent? Nail Technician? Veterinarian? Lawyer? Hairstylist? Photographer? Dry Cleaner? Bank Officer? Insurance Agent? Chiropractor? PTA President? Favorite Waiter/ Waitress? Massage Therapist? Nutritionist? Who Sold You Your House? Computer? Jewelry? Clothes? Furniture? Tupperware? Glasses? Boat? Appliances? Carpet? Who is Related to You Parents? Grandparents? Children? Sisters? Brothers? Cousins? Aunts? Uncles? Nieces? In Laws? Who Lives next door? Lives across the street? Lives down the street? Teaches your children? Worked with you? Works in a hospital? Worked with you in the past? Goes to your church? Is in the local Chamber of Commerce? Also Your holiday card list? Your address book? Your wedding list? You Day Planner? Business cards you have collected? Flip through the yellow pages to refresh your memory!

7 6 for Success What is 6 for Success? It is based on holding 6 Swiss Beauty Workshops (SBW s) in your start month and each subsequent month, allowing you to build a successful and sustainable business. Goal of a SBW The goal of each SBW is to: (1) identify potential Consultants (2) book further SBW s (3) sell products Why 6 SBW s in Your Start Month? Create Momentum by Meeting Enough People. Starting your business with 6 SBW s will give you an opportunity to tell the story to enough people to create the momentum necessary to have the sustained activity and income. Learn the Presentation. Experience has shown that we learn best through spaced repetition. By having 6 SBW s within thirty days you will be comfortable and confident with presenting the Arbonne story. The Benefits of SBW s Develop New Contacts. Through SBW s you will develop and maintain a constant stream of new contacts. While doing them, you are meeting new people who have gathered to learn about Arbonne. These people are pre-qualified by your host as interested in the products and/or the opportunity. By utilizing our hosting program, you will continue to schedule new groups which will introduce you to new potential clients and business partners. Earn While You Learn! Last but not least, you will be earning as you are learning. For example, if you average $500 per SBW in qualified volume; you will earn anywhere from $500 to $1000 in your start month. What to Expect From Your Sponsor Your sponsor will help you with your SBW s in your start month. This is your opportunity to learn the presentation and for the people you know to hear all about Arbonne from your sponsor/upline. Because we learn this business by observing and participating, during these presentations you will learn as your sponsor/upline demonstrates how to identify potential Consultants (business partners), how to book SBW s and one-on-one s, and how to sell. 9 Building your business There are 2 important aspects to your Arbonne business; 1. Sharing these amazing Products AND 2. Sharing this incredible business Both require high energy and a positive mindset. These are the fundamental elements to building yourself a successful business. Sharing the products There are 6 ways we share our products with people. 1. Swiss Beauty Workshop (SBW) Pamper Session 2. Makeup Masterclass (Cosmetic Event) 3. Detox Workshop Health and Wellness Session 4. Express Beauty Session (EBS) 1 on 1 or 1 on 2/3. 5. Samples or Sample Parcel Drop Offs (Re9, Detox, Nutrition, Cosmetics) 6. VIP Pamper Days There are training documents to support you in all aspects of the above and you will also receive the necessary training to get you started. Sharing the business The business opportuntiy is the vehicle for the life you want to have. Sharing the business opportunity as soon as you commence your business is the fastest way of growing and elevating into levels of management and beyond. There are 5 ways to offer the business; 1. Face to Face (as per asking for Coffee Chat) 2. Calling up (if they don t answer, don t leave a long message say I have a quick question. Could you please call me back when you get a moment, otherwise I will try you again at the same time tomorrow. ) 3. Sending via text message (if sending text be sure to follow up with a call) 4. Facebook (private messaging) 5. NB: for successful wording tips ask your up-line to guide you. 8.

10 How to ask Here are a few examples of how to invite and ask for bookings VIP BUSINESS LAUNCH (invite your VIP s) Be yourself, be excited, be enthusiastic. Hi Julie, I am very excited I am starting a new business. I would love for you to come and celebrate with me at my business launch, its going to be next Saturday the 25th at 7.00pm at my place. I would love your support, I cant wait to share this with you, can I count on you to attend? Answer: Yes. YOU SAY... Fantastic can t wait to see you! No. YOU SAY... Ok, I Understand. I would love to share the products as I can t believe how they have changed my skin and I am sure you will love them too. I really need to practice, please can I book in a 1-on-1 Pamper session with you? I would really appreciate your feedback. Answer: Yes. YOU SAY... Great when suits you? I have Tuesday or Wednesday available. No. YOU SAY... Ok, are you open to sampling our Premium products for a few days? When would you be available for me to drop them off. Common Objections: Sometimes an objection is just a need for more information. Here are a few common objections and how to overcome them. WHAT IS IT: Arbonne is a luxury brand skin care, makeup and health & wellness company. My skin has never felt better, I love it and I am sure you will love it to. I ALREADY LOVE WHAT I AM USING! I completely understand as I was the same, that s why I would love your feedback after comparing it to Arbonne! IS IT EXPENSIVE OR I DON T REALLY SPEND A LOT ON MY SKINCARE AND MAKEUP! I can show you how to buy the products at a discount directly from the company online, if it turns out you like them. They are comparable or even less than department store brands and what really sets them apart is the results that you get. IS IT ONE OF THOSE PYRAMID SHCEMES? No it s Network Marketing, something I never thought I would do as I never really understood this business model, but now I am so excited about what this business can offer me and my family! 9.

11 Asking for a Swiss Beauty Workshop Hi Julie I have started my own business. It s a premium luxury product which has transformed my skin and I cant wait for you to try it. The reason I am asking is that I am in my training month and my upline is coaching me. I d love it if you could get just a couple of girlfriends together and you will receive some great discounts and I can learn the basics on how to run a workshop, it would mean the world to me? Answer: Yes. YOU SAY... Great! Let s set a date. No. YOU SAY... Ok, I completely understand and I appreciate that you re busy. Could I then offer you an Express Session where I would pop around for 20 minutes so you can sample the products. They have changed my skin and I would love your feedback, no pressure! Answer: Yes. YOU SAY... Great, are you free tomorrow or the next day? No. YOU SAY... Ok, are you open to sampling our Premium products for a few days? When would you be available for me to drop them off? Common Objections: I DON T HAVE ENOUGH TIME? Ok, I completely understand and I appreciate that you re busy. Could I then offer you an Express Session where I would pop around for 20 minutes for you to sample the products. These products have changed my skin and I would love your feedback, no pressure! I DON T KNOW MANY PEOPLE That s perfect! The smaller the group the better, we only want a maximum of 6 people, so everyone can be pampered and feel the benefits of these products. It will be fun and your friends will love you for it. I CAN T HAVE IT AT HOME (VARIOUS REASONS WHY) Offer to have it at your house! GET A NO TO SBW Offer Express Beauty Session (EBS) or product sample as above. Asking for a coffee chat Business appointment Hey Julie, I have just started a new business. I am really excited (share your Why here. E.G: It s really important for me to work from home around the kids and my current job doesn t allow me to do this OR financially we needed an extra income stream in order to get ahead) You were the first person I thought of and I would love to take you for a coffee and run it by you. When do you have mins this week? Common Objections: NO That s ok. Who do you know who would be interested in earning an additional income stream alongside their current commitments? I understand the extra income is not for you right now, so how about I just show you the products so you can experience the incredible results they deliver? I would certainly value your feedback! 10.

12 Setting Up for Success - To Do List Follow on from First Step Basics Take this document with you to 2nd Step Basics training. R Organise your product kit Book your VIP Business Launch s & Invite your guests from your 100 people list Create and practice with your sponsor your I story and Your WHY Set up separate account (it must not have the word Arbonne in it) Put a professional greeting on your phone Personalise your Arbonne website with your story and photo You may wish to set up a business facebook page (you will need to identify yourself as an Arbonne Independent Consultant (e.g. Sarah Smith Arbonne Independent Consultant...NOT Sarah Smith Health and Beauty by Arbonne. Arbonne Independent Consultant must come after your name) Like the Arbonne Australia official facebook page Join your team facebook page as well the GETS Community/L FUN Group Visit the GETS website - Login details are USERNAME: consultants, PASSWORD: GETScons This gives you access to all the GETS documents. Order labels and business cards (from VistaPrint/Identity Direct etc) Familiarise yourself with the Arbonne catalogue and website as this is your shop front Familiarise yourself with the Arbonne Source. This is where you can search for and download Meet the Product sheets, Learn and Burn audios, helpful webinars and the latest company updates. Visit the Arbonne University for all your training modules on product knowledge, system training and helpful tips. Set up separate bank account which will help you track your business profits and tax deductions. Login to the Arbonne website and add your bank details to your Profile so you can be paid. Arbonne pays your commissions around the 15th of each month. Set-up and ABN number if you require one and notify Arbonne of your number. Book your 6 SBW s. Attend an ARBONNE BUSINESS EVENT Diarise your teams monthly trainings, calls and events Familiarise yourself with the Strong Start Programme Book in with your upline/sponsor time to practice/review the following: Booking a workshop Asking for a coffee chat or business appointment Handing out a sample pack/sample parcel drop off Asking guests to attend an Arbonne Business Event (ABE) e.g. If I invited you to an information evening to learn more, would you come? Creating a business pack and how to hand them out e.g. If I gave you a business pack would you take a look? How to make a Host Pack Telephone techniques Host Coaching Getting Started Document Consistently review all the information in Your GETS folder and on the GETS website.

13 Be intentional! What does it mean to be intentional? It means working with purpose making every action count.
