1 Get 3 New Clients in 30 Days Branded Initial Sessions and Asks Mindset Piece: o The key is to get out there and try! The more you throw against the wall, the more will stick. That is the difference between those that are successful and those that are not. The more successful ones are willing to throw more things against the wall. Don t be afraid to fall on your face! o I m here for questions. Please bring them to the class no matter what you are working on. Money Piece: o Focus on getting 1 on 1 clients right now. You are building a foundation. Don t worry about products, free gifts, online videos or any of that stuff. The cash is in the clients! This is phase 1. I ll show you all the phases next week. o Make sure you created your revenue tracking sheets and are using them. o Make sure you create your client folders, intake forms and have your calendar spots ready for new clients. o If you want 3 new clients, prepare 3 new client folders. Print out 3 new welcome letters. Let the universe know that you are READY! o By being organized you are letting the universe know that you can handle more money and more clients this is the first step to getting them. o Money doesn t land in chaos!

2 1. Understanding the Business Machine 4 Numbers You Must Track Marketing Connecting with people so that you can ASK for a session Number 1: ASKS per week How often are you going out to meet people? Sales Part One Convert those ASKS to initial sessions or meetings Number 2: Initial sessions or Meetings per week Is your asking interesting enough to attract clients to have a meeting with you? Sales Part Two Convert lead to client Number 3: What is your conversion rate (converted/total)? Are you converting successfully? Clients Keeping clients loyal, happy and with you a long time. Number 4: How many clients upgrade or sell on to more work with you? Are you providing the services your clients want and are they getting results?

3 2. Understanding the Most Important Number: ASKS. 1) Make a goal: a. e.g. 3 new clients 2) Determine your conversion rate. If you are new, go with 1 out of 3 sessions. For every 3 sessions that you do, you will sign one client. From now on, you ll keep track of this number. a. e.g. 1 out of 3 clients 3) Determine the number of sessions you need to sign 3 new clients. a. You ll need 9 sessions 4) Determine the number of people you need to ASK to do sessions (take your number and multiply it by 3) a. In order to get 9 people to do sessions with you, you ll need to ask 27 people to do sessions with you. 5) Determine the number of ASKS per day and per week. a. About 7 people per week b. 1 2 ASKS per day. If the number method doesn t work for you just pick a general goal such as 1 initial session per week and 3 asks per week. Also, remember my yoga center story (listen for it on the call). 3. Where will you find your ASKS from? a. Get comfortable with asking anyone and everyone especially in the beginning. Always follow up with people. b. Go back to people who you ve worked with before. c. Go back to people who have expressed interest before. d. Ask friends and family. e. Go to yoga classes, workout classes, spinning classes. f. Go to parties, book clubs, events g. Go to networking events especially those that you really connect with people during. h. Talk to people at the grocery store. i. Talk to people at the bank. j. Go to old colleagues and friends k. Send out a note to everyone in your network. l. Do a workshop (can lead to tons of asks) m. Be excited about what you do and not afraid to talk about it everywhere. n. Introduce yourself to strategic referral partners

4 o. Offer your services for 30 days for free to influential people in your community p. Talk about it at church, in religious groups, or in spiritual circles q. Pick up the phone and start calling people you know. r. Send out a warm letter over e mail or via snail mail (you can do this now or wait until your website is done)

What do you say when you are marketing/connecting with people? 3 components that make you appear professional: A clear Niche a group of people + a wake up in the morning problem (see below) A signature system that you take people through (we ll go over this in detail later in the program) 3 Clear Results that You Offer People (we ll be going over this more in detail when we cover the signature system) A. Reviewing Your Niche: Make sure you are addressing a Wake Up in the Morning Problem: a. People get very confused when you aren t addressing a problem they relate to and you won t get clients that way. b. You must address a wake up in the morning problem: i. I need more money ii. I need to be pain free iii. I need to find a man/woman iv. I need to lose weight v. I need to learn how to talk more to my spouse vi. I need to be able to find my keys. vii. I need to figure out how to talk to my kids c. Bad examples: i. I help women in transition. ii. I help people understand their behavior patterns and create transformation in their lives. iii. I help women get more connected with themselves. iv. I help women find peace around past patterns. d. Good examples: i. I help women who are going through divorce reduce the stress, overwhelm and grief that comes with this period. I help them create a happier, fresh start. ii. I help women who are stuck dating the same guy over and over again to get out of that cycle and find the right partner. One who can really take care of their needs. iii. I help women who are struggling with a job they hate find one that they love. iv. I help business owners who are stuck in their businesses find a path to move forward so that they can make more money and find more free time.

I help busy professionals find simple ways to be healthy. Response: Great. How Do You Do that? I have a proprietary 4 step system that I take people through over the course of 6 months. Don t worry! We ll come up with your system!

This session will help you determine what is getting in the way, stopping you or sabotaging your current XYZ. c.
