1 Potential Client Follow-Up Worksheet 1. Each week I will spend hours researching, prospecting, connecting or following up with New Business prospects, my target market. And each week I will build my list with a minimum of new business prospects one way or another. 2. Each week I will spend hours connecting, building relationships with or following up with my current database of clients, contacts and prospects. And each week I will attract a minimum of new clients. 3. Each week I will spend hours researching, connecting, building relationships with or following up with Referral Source prospects. And each week I will attract at least new referral source or affiliate partner that I spoke to personally. 4. To make sure I always remember who my target market is and what they care about I will set up the following reminders or helpful tools to assist me: (Example: sticky notes on my computer, reading a list of target market attributes every morning to help me focus, etc.) 5. Other commitment: (Example: I will a note to every person I meet in person within 2 days of meeting them.) Clients are amazed when they start really systematizing and committing to a follow up system: 1) Because it works; and 2) It generates more money for them!

2 Potential New Client Follow-Up System 1. Initial Follow Up (within 2-5 business days of meeting) Where you met Give freebie information Ask for Call to Action (strategy call, meeting, referral) Make sure signature includes Tag Line (FB,TW, website, phone) 2. Input into ALL CONTACTS database Add to PROSPECT database Contact via Social Media Copy business cards for notes 3. CALL potential new client (within 5-7 business days of meeting) Reminder of where you met Talk about a BENEFIT of working with you Ask for Call to Action (strategy session or meeting) Send follow up with calendar link (timedriver) 4. IF NO MEETING/CALL set, send a direct mail piece Postcard is good 1 st contact Letter is good 2 nd contact Hand-written note is good 3 rd contact (I was just thinking ) 5. WHEN MEETING/CALL scheduled Timedriver will send automatic reminder 24 hrs ahead Personal also a good personal touch (Looking forward ) 6. INTIAL CALL/MEETING INSPIRE encourage their strengths CLARIFY what do they want MOST ASK discover where they want to BE RECEIVE Listen and understand their needs EMBRACE Celebrate possibility of working with you 7. FOLLOW- UP Send thank you follow-up with deliverables Send personal hand written card/gift if new client
