2 Introduction We have been working with Fitness, Health and wellness professionals for over 4 years, including personal trainers, Pilates instructors, weight-loss experts, fitness marketing experts, nutritional experts and many more. We have created a tried and tested website blueprint that will enable your website to generate leads and in turn increase sales. Most standard websites convert around 1% of visitors to take an action but using our tried and tested blueprint you can increase that to unto 30-40%. There are 3 parts to our blueprint, two of which happen directly on your website and the last step is a combination of on site and off site activity. 2

3 1# Comunicate You have roughly 3 seconds to communicate to your visitors to your website what you can do to make their lives better or to solve the problem that they have and why they should choose you over your competition. The easiest way to do that is to have an attention grabbing headline at the top of your website home page. In that one short line of text you need to tell your prospective clients what you can do for them and give them at least one benefit of choosing your services, for example if you are a personal trainer your headline could be Help And Support so You Can Achieve Your Weight Loss Goals, Results Guaranteed! The headline tells your visitors what you do i.e. you help and support people to achieve their weight loss goals and it give them a benefit or guarantee. If your someone looking to lose wight this headline tells them instantly that they are in the right place and grabs their attention. 3

4 1# Comunicate Another powerful tool for communicating your headline and benefit of working with you that most website owner don t take advantage of is video. Record a quick second video that introduces you, gives your headline and encourages the visitor to give you their contact details (we cover this in the next step of the website blueprint). The video should go just beneath your headline and it should start automatically when some one lands on your home page. Your video does not have to be professionally shot, as long as you can get your hands on an iphone or any other device that has a good recording quality, a tripod and your in a well lit room that will be fine to start off with. Using video can result in a 41% higher click through rate than plain text! 4

5 1# Comunicate A must have element for your website is Social Proof (testimonials). You can make all the claims and guarantees you like but there is nothing more powerful than a prospective client seeing your current clients results. Video testimonials are the best but at the very least you should have text and an image, if you can get before and after shots to really show what you have achieved they work really well! If you are using text then a great idea is to pull out one of the biggest results that client has had and place that right at the top of the testimonial as a headline, that way if some one is just scanning through them they will see the best results before anything else. You should have a page on your website dedicated to your testimonials but you should also try to include at least one on every page of your website so that no matter where on your website your visitor is they are reminded what awesome results you have achieved. 5

6 1# Comunicate The next element you can use to communicate what services you offer with your visitors are client profiles, this means that if you have for example 3 packages that you want to offer, rather than just list what they get in those packages you give a description of the ideal client for that package and you sell the outcome not what you get within that package, for example one of your client profiles could read: Your a busy mum who does not have the time to figure out an exercise plan. Thought of having to go to a busy gym puts you off doing any regular exercise. You need something that to work around your busy schedule and you need someone to tell you which exercises will work best to achieve your fitness goals. You want a pre prepared meal plan that can be made easily and tastes great! This makes it easy for your prospective client to read the profiles and say to them selves Yes that sounds just like me, I am sure this person can help me achieve my goals. Rather than just listing what they get as part of the package, this helps engage your potential clients and shows that you understand them and their needs. Finally, you should have some sort of guarantee, ideally a full money back guarantee. This will convince your prospects that you are confident in your ability to get the results you promise. Make sure you make the guarantee achievable and that you are confident you can deleiver it. 6

7 2# Capture This part of the process is crucial and one of the main reasons you have a website in the first place. Getting your prospective clients contact details so you can systematically market your services and send lots of useful free information to them, this gets them to know, like and trust you which is very important! You do this by offering them a high value free gift and in return they give you their name and address. In our experience the most effective free gifts are ones where you can get your prospect in front of you i.e. free taster class or session. This makes it much easier to convert them. The best way to capture their details is by using an marketing service like Mailchimp or aweber, they give you the tools to create the sign up form and embed it on your website. You should place the form next to your video on the home page. 7

8 2# Capture The best and most effective way of pushing people to fill in their details is to give them a call to action in your home page video, just explain clearly what you want them to do and what they will get in return, for example you could say: Hi I am [insert your name] from [insert your company name] and we provide [insert attention grabbing headline] and as a special thank you for visiting the site today I would like to give you 2 very special free gifts, firstly [insert your high value free gift] and secondly you will receive my weekly packed with more free high value content to help you achieve your goals. All you need to do is click on the button and fill in your details and we will be in touch to get go booked in for you [insert high value free gift]. Once you have their contact details you are free to start sending them your weekly that you can fill with more free useful content and also you can promote your services. And hopefully if they attend your high value free gift you can convert them to a paying client! 8

9 3# Convert The final step in the process actually takes place away from your website but with the purpose of brining your prospects back to your website to learn more about you and your products or services. The first way of doing this is to have an automated sequence set up so that once they have filled in their details they get a thank you either giving them the next steps i.e. you will call them or they need to call you to book them into a free session, class etc. But take this a step further and have s set up to go out over the next 14 days, these s should give more information about you and the results you have achieved. This means you can be warming up your prospect on auto pilot! Along side the automated you should also be sending your prospects an newsletter (ezine) at least once a week with lost of free and useful information, we do this so your prospect can start to get to know, like and trust you. You should not just send s promoting your latest classes or products, this should make up a very small part of your s. Instead you should include the following: A personal welcome, this gives your readers a little background about what you have been up to during that week, this builds up your relationship with your prospects because they get to see the person behind the business. An interesting article, this should be a blog post or video blog that you have created on a subject your ideal clients will find interesting. 9

10 3# Convert You only want to include either a screen shot of the video or the first paragraph of the blog you have written then give a link to the blog on your website where they can go and read the rest. This section shows that you are the authority in your area of fitness, health or wellness and it also gets your prospect back to your website. Social Proof, it is very important to include some social proof (testimonial) on all of your marketing, this will show your prospect that you can give them the results they want to achieve and it also builds up their trust. Something you recommend, this is the section of the where you can promote something, its best to use this to promote a free gift but you can also have your paid product or services. This should just be a very small section of your . You have probably heard other people say The Money Is In The List and this is so true, if you have a large and responsive list you will have a constant stream of clients ready to work with you.
