2 Welcome! It is truly wonderful that you have decided to love yourself to great lengths and commit to doing a Spring Cleaning on your life. I promise you will feel incredible when it s over! It is imperative that you are fully committed and that you hold yourself responsible in completing the exercises. You won t regret it! Now, let s get started

3 Detox Your Closet I m sure this is one thing we can all agree on we have too much stuff. Holding onto that cute sundress because you just know you ll wear it again one day? I hear ya. This isn t just about throwing clothes away don t worry. This time is about decluttering your life, but organization is also on the list. Depending on your personal situation, a simple organizational system put into place may solve your closet clutter. If you have an abundance of clothes, shoes and outwear overflowing from your closet as well, it just may be time to go through it all and downsize. Setting time aside to tackle this task may seem daunting, but you will feel so much better after it s over! Now, let s plan

4 It s time to make a plan. If at all possible, plan this closet organization party ASAP. What do you need for your particular situation? An organizational system put into place, or a few bags full of stuff to donate to charity? What needs to be done? Jot your answer below: When are you planning on getting this party started? This does not have to be done in one day, feel free to break it up into several days to make the job more bearable. Also, recruit friends and family members to help!

5 Detox Your Mind Taking care of your mindset is crucial in a world full of distractions, negativity and hustle & bustle. Do you feel like your mind never slows down? Have you forgotten how to give yourself a mind rest? Make it a priority to give yourself at least a 15 minute mind-break daily. I highly recommend you use this 15 minutes as a meditation time. You will value this 15 minutes and look forward to it I promise! There are many ways to treat yourself to a break daily, and we will figure out what will work best for you on the following page.

6 It s time to make a plan. What relaxes you? Reading, meditating, closing your eyes, lying in the sunshine? List a few things that would quiet your mind and give you some enjoyable, rejuvenating alone time: What time of day will you set aside for your mind-rest each day?

7 Detox Your Space Your home is your sanctuary. Your place of retreat, comfort, and stability. Over the years, it is possible to accumulate a lot of junk. When you walk throughout your home, what feeling do you get? Is it peaceful and calming? Or, perhaps there is clutter that is causing anxiety for you. More often than not, we have quite a bit of stuff we could stand to get rid of. Clutter in the house will breed clutter within your mind, without a doubt. Having a clean, airy living space is a wonderful way to give yourself a more peaceful demeanor with this one task alone. This can seem like an overwhelming task, but have no fear, we will make a plan.

8 It s time to make a plan. What is your time-frame for decluttering your space? Allow yourself adequate time, so that you do not feel overwhelmed and potentially give up. What rooms need detoxing in your home? List them below. Consider writing a date beside each room to have as a deadline. Remember, be generous to yourself in making your timeline! Who will you ask for help in your cleaning party?

9 Detox Your Relationships Unless you re incredibly lucky, there is most likely at least one negative relationship in your life. This can be a really difficult subject, but an incredibly important one to consider. When you read the words negative relationship who comes to mind? Does anyone pop into your mind right off the bat? It could be a coworker, nosey neighbor, friend, or even a family member. Although we can t always detox these relationships completely, there are ways to readjust and evaluate what is not serving you in your relationships. Luckily, there are plenty of people out there that you can have a healthy relationship with! One of love, understanding, honesty, laughter and learning. Are you ready to figure this one out? Let s move on to the task page and dig deeper.

10 It s time to make a plan. Take some time to think about the relationships in your life. Coworkers, friends, family, etc. What are some negative sources that come to mind when you evaluate those who surround you? List some below: What is your plan of action in decreasing the negative relationships you may have? Spending less time, talking out your feelings, letting go, etc. Who are some people that you cherish in your life? Use these people, and what you love about them, as a standard for your relationships. You deserve the best!

11 Detox Your Body Spring is a very popular time of year to participate in a Detox. You might choose to participate in a whole foods detox, or to simply reevaluate your eating habits. You know your body better than anyone, and you know what you need to reach your optimum levels of health and happiness. The question is, are you doing these things? Detoxing your body includes more than the foods you choose. Breathing exercises, adequate rest, yoga, a sauna, dry brushing your skin, thinking positively, and drinking water are a few other ways to assist in detoxing your body. Which of these sound like just what you need?

12 It s time to make a plan. Tune into your body. Listen to what it s telling you. What does your body need that you are not giving it at this time? What methods of detox will you put into practice? Read over some of the examples on the previous page, and pick 3 that stand out to you

13 Detox Your Routines Are you one of those people who dislikes disappointing others, so you jam-pack your schedule full of commitments? Wearing yourself thin is a disservice to all parties involved, including you. Are there some responsibilities on your plate that could be given to someone else, or planned more thoughtfully with your wellbeing in mind? Some simple rearranging could do the trick. We will focus on this on our plan page next. It is crucial to remember that detoxing your calendar is not an act of irresponsibility. Allowing yourself to perform this detox will be the beginning of a new and better functioning schedule. Figuring out when you are most productive and scheduling your appointments strategically will make for smoother days to come. Enjoy!

14 It s time to make a plan. Evaluate your schedule and see where some things may not be in sync. Are you using your time in the most effective way? Could you rearrange some things to save yourself some time? (Think: more free time!) Jot down some ideas of how to maximize your time while still handling all of your responsibilities:

15 Digital Detox In the world we live in today, it is rare for one to not be on some sort of technological device for a large chunk of the day. Whether it s your smart phone, computer, or ipad. While it is nice that we have the ability to be connected to the entire world and all the knowledge we want with the click of a button it can become a habit and a security blanket of sorts. Do you find yourself perusing your social media accounts when you re bored? Have you ever jumped online to look up one thing, and an hour later, you ve found yourself still scrolling through your newsfeed? We have all fallen victim to this, I do believe. A digital detox, however small it is, can serve you tremendously. Using this time to do the things you truly enjoy: picking up a new hobby, or spending more quality time with your loved ones will quickly become way more enjoyable than scrolling through Twitter!

16 It s time to make a plan. When you feel bored, what is your first instinct? What will you commit to doing instead of spending extra time on your electronic devices? One simple thing that helps me feel more disconnected from my cell phone is simply having it out of my reach. Instead of it being in my pocket, or sitting next to me, I put it on a table across the room. This cuts down on mindless browsing, and helps me feel much more free from it. Try it out!
