2 HOW TO CONTACT SUBSCRIBERS

3 1 1 Talk to your customers like they are humans, do not bore them with automatic responses. Introduce yourself and remind your customer of who you are Hello beautiful person, Greetings from AIESEC, We are glad you chose us AIESEC Local Committee [X] for a magnificent journey outside your comfort zone. My name is [X] and I will be your guide during this to take you to amazing places so fasten your seatbelt and get ready :D Thank you for taking the first step and subscribing with us. In this you will find interesting information about the procedures so please read it carefully People won't care or respond to phrases like "Leadership Development" "was founded in 1948" so choose engaging words AIESEC is the platform that has been sourcing youth with amazing opportunities abroad to develop their personal and professional profiles. Because we care about you we are proving you with quality experience of work, fun and discovery. AIESEC is an international organization founded in 1948 and present in 126 countries, aiming at impacting the world through leadership development experiences and cross cultural exchange.

4 Remember to put a link to website for more information about AIESEC and its programmes. If the customer is interested he will search for you, don t push marketing him. 4 not mislead your potential customer, mention all the requirements of the programme and make sure he has them. 3 Talk about the programme, its benefits, the duration, what kind of things provided, what kind of work they will be doing, destinations available in the most brief yet detailed and creative way. Global Volunteer is the programme you said you are interested in and I am here to give you more explicit details about it. But first thing first, being a volunteer does not mean you will be collecting trash and planting trees, whether you ll be teaching, marketing or raising awareness you will be learning a lot, it s your opportunity to gain a professional experience with no experience required. This type of programmes usually lasts for 6 to 8 weeks in a variety of beautiful destinations like [Your partner countries...]. And we will help you out with accommodation, airport pickup and many other things. not put an external link for this one, let your customer reach you out personally if he needs more details so that you create a human bond between you. If you are a young person aged from 18 to 30, interested in community management and teamwork, passionate about getting to know other cultures and has a minimum of English then this is the perfect opportunity for your development. Anyone is legible to our variety of opportunities, you just need a valid passport, a visa if needed and you are ready to go. 5 Mention a previous programme experience abroad. Customers want to know about each other and how your product helps them. And never underestimate the power of a great story. 6 And want to make your story more credible? Use a customer testimonial, but orient it a way that will attract more customers, let them talk more about the opportunity and the destination.

5 I'm so glad that I ve got the opportunity to be a part of such a professional team, I am extremely impressed with the students and their level of enthusiasm to learn and develop themselves. India is no doubt one of the most beautiful places in earth, its people are very friendly and understanding. The best thing about going on an internship in India, is to discover so many cultures along with getting a professional experience. 7 Add a link to a blogpost on why you should travel in your twenties or places that you should go to, or benefits of volunteering / working abroad this will help your leads make up their minds. 8 Describe all the procedures that the lead will go into and the payment methods, give all the information needed before starting with the execution. Use headlines and not paragraphes to describe the procedures, it s more clear and straight to the point. In order to start the journey, there are a few procedures that we need to go through: 1.Create an account in the Opportunity portal. 2.Make sure the profile is complete and specific ( to facilitate the search ). 3.Start browsing for opportunities. 4.Find the suitable opportunity and apply for it. 5.Have an interview with the hosting committee / company ( we will help you through the process of it ). 6.Once you are accepted you need to pay your fees [Fees], prepare the documents needed and you are ready to go. 9 First thing first, we need to start by creating a profile on Opportunity Portal and make sure the profile is complete otherwise you cannot apply for opportunities. And before leaving you need to pay the amount of [Fees]. 10 Provide a link to Opportunity Portal where the customer can signs up and instructions of how he can deal with it. Useful links:

6 11 This is the part where you showcase the variety of opportunities you have, it is important to let your customer know about what kind of things are available and waiting for him. not stick to one issue/sp or country, you already have the issues/sp he find the most interesting or has more experience in and the countries he would like to go to in the form he filled, so let him know that you care about his interests. Choose the opportunities that provides more details and that respect the ICX promotion guidelines and add a link to each opportunity. 7 13 Leave your personal contacts and not the LC s so that the customer won t feel confused. General Layout 2 Use pictures, GIFs and motions. Use different font colors and sizes. It is preferred to speak to the person by their name. Put emphasis on the important information ( Bold, underline ). Phone Call After sending the , make sure your customer got it whether by a phone call or a text message. You are not supposed to give information about AIESEC and its programmes by phone calls unless they ask you to, because written content is always more clear and memorable. Use phone calls as a gentle reminder. 3 Meeting Even after providing your potential customer with all the details needed, you still have to meet with him in order to create a human bond and to facilitate the procedures. They may be the kind of person who does not read s ( this is an odd option after an engaging like this but who knows ) so you need to go through the procedures again together step by step. Make your meeting friendly and professional at the same time and always remember that you are communicating our brand. If you are going with a virtual meeting, make sure you have a constant Internet connection and share your screen with the customer. And if it s going to be a physical meeting, choose a nice calm place so that you can explain the procedures perfectly.

10 3 You may think What s the use of sharing educational articles?, well let me tell you my friend, this way you can make sure that you are providing your lead with the information needed for his interview while keeping him engaged with your newsletters and therefore your organization, you are nurturing him with information that interest him and keep his attention. Use links so that the newsletter won t be long. Use untrusted sources. Subscribe him to other newsletters without his permission. 4 This is the part where you showcase the opportunities he showed the most interest in, do not make it general, use specific issues/sp and countries but also keep it diverse, you can put up to 6 opportunities. 11 7 Some parts of my job felt like an exciting challenge where I was asked to write parts of code with a programing language that I have never worked nor studied before. In other parts it was extremely fun to go on company dinner parties and just socialize with the other engineers and learn about their background and how they walked their way from being students to become senior engineers in global companies. Overall, I realized that I do love that I am a software engineer, I had the chance to work in one of the leadings companies in Canada and I made it for one year without making any critical mistakes, it has given me confidence that I am ready to work and start my professional life. One thing I loved about my project in Chennai was its diversity, teaching, life in the city where I lived, the culture and scenery, the beautiful beaches. There was always something new to experience and I never knew what was around the corner. Even small things such as watching the world go by, or seeing a cow just wandering along the road on its own all add up to make it a trip of a lifetime. I will definitely go back to India for so many reasons. It was so sad leaving my new friends. I would love to see them all again, the children I taught, the Projects Abroad staff and there are still so many places that I've yet to explore. 6 Employee profiles humanize the company and help strengthen the community around your brand. He will trust you more when he knows who you are, because remember he is buying a product from you and nobody wants to put their money in untrusted sources. Your lead may need instructions about how to be prepared for their interview, what kind of information they need to know, how long can an interview last But this doesn t mean that you have the right to prepare the answers for them.

12 As you know, once you have found the suitable opportunity, comes the interview phase which is pretty simple. The interview will be in English so you have to start practicing the language if ever you have speaking problems, it will last about 30 minutes and it will contains both general and technical questions. Just be yourself and put your beautiful mind into work Hahaha. Here are some useful links on how to get prepared for an interview, don t hesitate to read them for more insights [Links]. As you have come closer to the interview phase, I want to assure you that everything is going to be fine and doable. Then take to opportunity to congratulate them for finding the suitable opportunity and assure them that the hard part was done Hello [name], Hey there, How have you been? I m guessing everything is alright since you ve found your one and only opportunity. I cannot describe how proud I am of you, you ve done the hard part and we re getting closer to the beginning of your journey abroad : ) Congratulations for obtaining the opportunity you have desired, there are still a few details that we need to review together and you will be ready to start your internship abroad We know this kind of information is supposedly provided by the hosting entity but there is no harm in investigating the details from them and provide them to your lead, it is always helpful and personal. Plus, as he has been dealing with you throughout the process, he will feel more secure if you re the one to provide him with information.

15 During your stay in Tunisia, you will be working with an educational institute dealing with young children aged from 6-12 years old where you have to design cultural activities and to open their eyes to other cultures and mindset. The job will last 4 weeks, you have 2 days off per week, one integration week and departure week during which you will be going on a Study Tour to explore the beautiful country. 4 Ask your leads about their expectations from the opportunity and the job offer, this will make it easier for you to determine your MOSes and to track their performance and satisfaction throughout their journey abroad. Provide them with a shared document where they can put all of their expectations and later on you can put standards for their measurements. Here are the documents needed to start preparing your visa, your working permit and your health insurance [ Links ], check them out and tell me if there is anything not clear. You will be staying in India in rms in Taj Mahal in a shared room with 2 other persons. But before starting the journey, we invite you to our outgoing preparations seminar that will take place in [ Date and Time ], you will find the agenda of seminar attached to this . We will be waiting for you :D You will be getting an from the hosting entity to tell you all about the preparations and documents needed for the internship and let me know if you need anything else. 6 If you already have a booklet for the country he will be going to, feel free to share it with your lead, otherwise search in the Internet for useful information about his stay he will need them a lot. Provide him with links and articles for the matter. 5 Provide your lead with all the information he needs about Visa, working permit, accommodation in host country and invite him to the OPS because usually they forget about it.
