5 VOLUNTEER DESIGNER We re expanding our creative team and we re looking for a highly motivated and passionate professional who can design for web (including infographics and on-screen documents) at a very high quality. You ll be responsible for our brand image in the digital world, and making sure it looks epic. You will be part of a creative team that s working to make a difference for girls and women in Sierra Leone, West Africa. You ll work closely with our in-house designer who will bring you up to speed on our brand to ensure that everything that is produced is of an extremely high quality. They will provide you with honest feedback and review all work before it is made live or released. One Girl is a startup organisation and as such our positions are very fluid. You may be asked to complete tasks that are outside of this position description. Ideally this role will suit a person who enjoys pushing the boundaries of what s possible, getting creative and turning ideas into reality. LOCATION This is a Melbourne based position, and you will be required to spend time in our Collingwood office. 5 For every year a girl attends school, the risk of her future children dying reduces by 5 10%

6 RESPONSIBILITIES You will work closely with the core team to assess our creative needs and create a plan for development and delivery; Produce high quality digital content (infographics, redesign our position descriptions, update our Wordpress website etc) Offer advice and suggestions for One Girl s digital content strategy & implementation (where appropriate) Ensure all One Girl digital content reflect One Girl s brand and reputation KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS All digital content being produced and released is of high quality and reflects the One Girl brand and reputation. 7 QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE Professionalism You ve got fantastic organisational skills, a high level of professionalism and excellent management skills. Practical experience with web design & basic development (HTML/CSS) You will have a portfolio of high-quality design work that showcases your wicked skills. You ll have previous experience working in a fast paced working environment and an ability to meet deadlines. 9 TIME COMMITMENT We are expecting a minimum of 5 hours per week. This time will fluctuate from week to week depending on the strategy. This includes reliably communicating with the core team with project updates as required. In addition to this, you will be required to attend monthly volunteer meetings which are held on the second last Wednesday of every month at our office in Collingwood. Ideally, you ll begin immediately and be able to commit for a minimum of 6 months. DO YOU WANT THIS ROLE?
