4 Introduction Welcome to a very exciting training session! In this lesson, you're going to learn how to make money simply by giving stuff away. This involves sales funnels and all other sorts of tactics that you're going to learn how to implement, and by the end of the training, you are going to learn how you can join up with some experts in this venture if you like. Now, if all you have to do is give stuff away, and you could get paid hundreds of dollars every time you did it, do you think you would be interested in doing that? Well today you are going to be given the chance to use a proven system that could make you over $100,000 a year just by giving stuff away for free. This system is going to be revealed to you in a step-by-step fashion, and this presentation is going to include the exact details of an amazing lead and sales funnel. Very few people will share with you the details of something that they worked so hard to create, but you are going to be given the knowledge of how to do so. Obviously, this doesn't guarantee that you're going to make $100,000 a year or more. The numbers that are going to be shown are unique examples of what others have been able to do in the past. 6 This was by competing against a lot of the best marketers from all over the world. Most importantly, I've been able to enjoy watching my family experience things for the first time like traveling first-class over to Las Vegas. It's fun to be able to do this kind of stuff with your family. When I was a kid, we didn't have the money to travel by air, and we didn't really go anywhere special, except to visit family. I don't remember ever being on an airplane when I was growing up, although I might have been when I was very, very little. It wasn't until I was grown that I was able to fly anywhere, and it was a long time before I was able to fly first-class. You can do all of these things when you build a business that allows you to. Now I'm able to enjoy my life, travel, and have a great time. Now you know some of the things that you can do, and I'm sure you know the things that you would like to do if you had the money, time, and freedom to do so.

7 How do You Make Money Online? There's a very important key concept that often gets lost in the shuffle of things. The main thing that you have to do is choose a hot target market with lots of money to spend. There are some people that believe that they need to find a market that no one is in. If you find a market that no one is in, it's because there's no money there. That's the reason why no one is marketing in it. After you find a market that people are spending money in, you'll want to set up a lead capture page. You want to drive traffic to that, get people to opt in, and then start selling them stuff. In order to get people to opt in, you'll want to give them something valuable. The more people want it, the more likely they are to visit your website, opt-in, and become part of your marketing machine. When people join your list, you're going to sell them something. You can sell them your products, other people's products as an affiliate, or both. It's actually recommended that you sell both because you'll make a lot of money that way. A lot of people only want to sell their products, but really that is silly because you can't possibly come up with every product or service that a market is going to be interested in wanting to buy.

8 We have produced a lot of different products, including software products, information products, training programs, and it seems like everything else under the sun. However, we still can't begin to reach the demand that our customers have for the different products and services that they would like to have access to. It wouldn't make any sense for us to stick our heads in the sand and say "We didn't invent it, so we're not going to sell it." People are going to buy what they want and what appeals to their business. It would just be stupid to not give these people what they are wanting if you have the power to do so. You need to focus on your business and try to generate as much money as humanly possible with that business. If you have a tempting enough offer to lure people in, then you'll begin to get traffic. When they visit your site and opt in, they will become leads. Those leads will turn into sales, either initially or as you follow up with these people. So, there's basically five basic steps to this process: Get traffic to a website you have set up with an opt-in form The opt-in form will convert these people into leads You follow up with them in order to convert those leads into sales You start to make money off of those sales Repeat the process You might be saying "Well, I already know this." If you truly did, you would be generating thousands of leads every month. If you're not, pay closer attention. This all seems pretty obvious, but really, people get confused and distracted as they try to run their business, and they begin to lose track of the basics. The truth is that this is very simple, but you have to stay focused on the basics of what you are trying to do. Get this clear in your mind. It doesn't matter if your website has 5 pages or 5,000; the process is always the same. You've probably heard the saying "The money is in the list." Whenever you have a list, you can send s out to the people on it with more offers for your products and other people's products. It's your list, so you can make money with it whenever and however you want. Again, the way that you're going to build this list is to give away something valuable to lure people in. Then, you convert these people into leads, convert those leads into sales, and everything else follow automatically. Many people put too much emphasis on trying to create sales. The way that you do that is starts with getting people to your website. So, the real question is "What am I going to do to capture people's attention?" The answer is to give the people in your market something of

9 value to them. That's all you really have to do. Just focus on that because that's what's going to start this whole chain reaction that makes you money.

10 How to Get Better Results by Giving Stuff Away After tens of millions of dollars in online sales, I know the Hot Target Market for us consists of business owners, as well as those starting businesses, who want to generate traffic, leads, and sales from the Internet. This is a massive market that's never going to go away. There's always going to be over 100 million business owners around the world who want to make their business bigger. They want to rank their websites, they want to market and sell better, and they want to get leads, more traffic, more money. My partner Brian and I produce products and services that are geared exactly towards this market. We typically have a lot of very complex and powerful software programs that we have created in-house to serve this market, and this market is like gold to us. As previously stated, this market is very large, and it contains over 100 million prospects around the world. In the US alone, there's like 27 million small business owners, at least according to our Small Business Administration. The US, of course, is just a fraction of the entire world. All together, these business owners spend billions of dollars annually things like education, resources, and marketing tools. You only have to tap into a small piece of this market to do extremely well. There's an abundant amount of opportunity and market potential.

11 The start to our funnel is our lead capture page. An example of this is shown above. It states "Free Software Automatically Creates Money Making Websites In Minutes!" This doesn't have any flashing, moving parts. It has no bells and whistles, and it has no video. It's just a straightforward offer. We have tested this on well-over 100,000 clicks, and we found that the winning format was the one that was made as simple as possible. I personally believe that this is such a great offer that it's simple for people to look at this and decide whether to opt in or not. The free software that we give away is called Cash Extractor. We built this in-house, and what it does is aid the user in setting up money-making websites with just a few minutes of work. We previously sold this software for $47, but now we just give it to those who opt in to our site. The software is very appealing because it builds cool product review sites. It walks the user through some very simple steps. A review site is one that people search for to find out more about a product before buying it. Let's say, for example, that someone searches for an Sony LCD TV review in Google, and they find your website. Your website informs them of the good things and bad things about that product, and in that section you'll include an affiliate link that they can click through to purchase the product. This works great, in most cases, because the person was about to buy it anyway; they just needed that one last bit of information before they did. Cash Extractor helps people to make these sites and get them up very quickly. To get started, a user simply has to enter in a primary product or keyword. If you look in the picture above, GetResponse is entered into this field. This is a popular service that people use to send out

12 . Anyway, you put your primary keyword into the field at the top, and then down below, you put in some basic information on competing products. In this case, an example would be AWeber. After you enter in your information, you hit the 'Submit' button and the software does research for you. It actually goes in and queries Google to find the top search results to find which product or service gets the most traffic and are the least competitive. It will produce a report of this data for you, and this information will allow you to know what products you should review and in what order. How do you create these reviews and put them up there? Well, the software leads you through this process as well. Basically, you just answer questions. You rate the product, and you write a short summary of what it does, what it's features are, and so on. You can also create a chart where you analyze the features of a product and compare them with one, two, or three other products. You can actually type in and create any of the features that you want, and make it very clear to people which is the better product and what you recommend based upon this head-to-head comparison. Of course, you'll want to monetize your website and make money. So, you'll have a call to action down at the bottom. This is where you say something like "Guys, I highly recommend you get this. Here's where I found the best price." or another true statement about why they should click on your link and make their purchase. After that, you'll be done creating your content.

13 Next, the software allows you to enter in your affiliate ID. The software allows you to show Amazon or AdSense ads. Obviously, you'll need an opt-in form to collect leads, which the software helps you to create as well. In the screenshot above, you will find an example of what one of these posts look like. As you can see, it looks very slick and well-formatted. All of this is done by the software, including the chart. The data is based upon what you entered. Your page will also be heavily optimized for the best rankings. Certainly, you can tell that this software is well-worth the $47 that people used to pay for it, and you can probably imagine how happy they are to be able to receive this software for free. It's really good, helpful software. Now, think about what a person would feel like when they get this software for free. They were probably excited when they opted in, but they are probably also a bit skeptical. After all, who gives away free stuff these days? We give away such great software because we want to start off on the right foot with these people who could potentially be buying other products of ours soon. We actually invested $20,000 to build this software that we are now giving away. Like many other marketers, we used to give away free reports or free training. This did work well, but we also knew that it's smart for marketers to test different offers and track their results. So, that's what we did, and we found that if you give away a free report or a video, you might get 15% to 20% of people to opt-in. If you gave away a free website, you might get 20% or 30% of people to opt in. However, if you give away free software, your opt in rate will be much higher. We found that between 45% to 70% of people opted in when we did this. We used the same traffic source in all three cases when we tested this, by the way. Giving away free software could give us two or three times more leads. In fact, our research showed where giving away a free report or video would provide us with 1,000 leads, a free website would bring in about 1,500, and free software would generate 2,500 leads. Again, this is all from the same traffic source. Now, how much do you think a lead would be worth in this market? Truthfully, a lot of this depends on how you work the lead. If you work your leads properly, you should see a value of at least $10 within the first few months. In this training you are going to be shown how to work your leads in order to turn them into money. For now, let's examine this further. Based on a lead value of $10, here's the difference between giving a free report and giving away valuable software to the same amount of traffic: Free Report - 1,000 leads = $10,000 Free Software - 1,000 leads = $25,000

14 Do you see? Even with a small amount of traffic, giving away free software can make you $15,000 more. That's a big difference. Now do you understand why it's worth it to us to give away this software? If you are giving away the right offer, just like we do with our free software, you can yield greater results and make a lot more money. You have to understand that if you are giving away things like free reports or training, yours may be unique, but it really just looks the same as what everyone else is offering. This makes people think "Another free report. Like I need that. I already have 100 free reports that I haven't even looked at." On the other hand, when you see free software being offered, it catches your attention. When people see free software being offered, they take the time to look. They would want to know what it does so you can think about whether or not you can potentially use it, especially if you're a business owner. You have to understand, as well, that software is seen as more of a solid, valuable product. This means that they are usually going to grab it up whether they think they can really use it or not. In this case, they may not take the time to look into it too much. They might just opt in without giving it much thought at all. For these reasons, our opt in rate is consistently high across our various traffic sources. You can make posts on Facebook, Twitter, or any other social website to let people know that you are giving away free software. Don't you think that if you did, you'd have a great chance of getting a good response? You can also post of targeted forums, blogs, and Q&A sites. Another thing that you can do is write and post articles about how to get free software, and/or you can make videos about how to get free software and post them on YouTube. As part of our partner program, we are going to give you access to some of our most powerful software tools. This will automate 95% of the work, making it really easy for you to give away free software. We are also going to make the process much more simple by providing you with complete directions on how to do this. Once you have traffic to your website and leads, what comes next? Now it's time to sell something, right? There's no reason to wait. You've got people to your website, so let's show them an offer and make some money. Here's how our sales funnel works. We have four immediate offers that are sent out in a planned sequence so that we can start generating cash right away. In our business, we refer to this as Automated Cash, but it's really the same as what other people refer to as a one-time offer (OTO). In either case, these are just sales that you make from people being on your website. The reason why this is referred to as Automated Cash is that you set this up one time and it works automatically. The system is set up so that when people come into your site, they opt-in,

15 and then they begin receiving a number of different offers. Once this system is in place, you don't have to do anything more to make these sales. The first offer we make is a low-priced one. It is for a $7 course on how to get free traffic. This sells very well. Of course, before we make this offer, we congratulate them for getting their free software. After that, you tell them that they can watch an important video to move on to the next step, which is to get free traffic. This video is called 100 Ways that You can Advertise for Free for Only $7, and it converts very well. In this case, 4% to 10% of the leads convert, depending on the traffic source. Of course, when you advertise to people who are barely interested in generating traffic, you're not going to get as good of results as when you are advertising to people who are desperate for traffic to their website. We have great traffic sources, and they consist of people who are really interested and have a reasonable amount of money to invest. This first offer is priced so low because it works as kind of an icebreaker. This gives people a chance to dip their toe in the water. They have opted in and gotten the free software, and now they have been sent a reasonably-priced offer. At this point, some people are going to be excited about the opportunity to get traffic to their sites, and now they know you're not going to try to charge them millions of dollars every time you send them an offer. You've made some money now. What do you do next? Well, you make more sales. Our second offer is for Cash Extractor Pro, which costs $47, and a downsell offer for $27. Just so

16 you know, a "downsell" is simply what is offered if the original offer is not purchased. In other words, if people leave the offer for $47 on the table, you are going to try and get them to buy the lower $27 offer. Above you'll find some of the sales copy used in selling the Cash Extractor Pro software. As you see, when they purchase this, they also receive a bonus, which is 100 of the best selling, highest paying affiliate programs. Cash Extractor Pro is an upgrade to Cash Extractor that automatically builds 30 page sites jammed full of unique content and money-making links. As you saw before, the original software made it easy to create a review page, but it still takes some manual work. This upgrade makes the process even more automated. So, people are typically happy to pay a little more and get this upgrade. The conversion on this is about 3% to 4%. The third offer is also for software. The DFY Writer that is offered costs $97 a month. The downsell to this offer is $49 a month. This software allows you to make 10 to 100 times more money with your site because it manages your websites by creating and adding a unique article page with a money-making link each day for up to 100 sites. That's for less than $1 per site if you paid the fee of $97 each month, and it comes out to be about 3,000 pages a month. Why would this be important to people? That's because Google loves for your site to stay updated. Who has time to write 10 posts every single day? Even if you only made 10 additional posts per week, that would take up a lot of your time. The software does all of this automatically, so this another piece of really great software to have. About 35% of the Cash Extractor Pro buyers will purchase this upsell. The fourth offer is for another piece of software that we have built. Auto Tweet Leads is software that can really take a person's business to the next level because it allows you to get unlimited social leads from Twitter. There are lots of tweets about people looking for help in different ways. This software will search Twitter and find tweets that somehow relate to the products or services that you offer. Obviously, this can be very valuable to a business owner. The program costs $37 a month or $197 a year, and 30% of the people who bought Cash Extractor Pro move on to buy this software as well. To get more automated cash from this funnel, you'll want to set up an auto-responder. If you don't already know, an auto-responder is a system that allow you to create s and schedule when they should be sent. For example, you can set it up to where an goes out immediately after someone opts into your list, and then three more go out in sequence over the next few days as well. Once set up, your messages will go out automatically because the system keeps track of everything. It is recommended that the s that you set up should contain a mixture of your own offers and affiliate offers. If you don't have your own products, that's fine. You can just promote

17 affiliate offers, but if you have your own products, then you should promote affiliate offers as well. You'll also want to mix up your offers for different aspects of the target market. Some people message their list continually, trying to sell the same product over and over. Not everyone is going to want to buy the one thing you want to sell. Plus, you've got to change things up to keep your audience interested. You should also provide offers at different price points, just like we have done in our funnel. You've got to promote some high-prices offers. There are people out there with lots of money to spend, so you can really make a lot of money this way. Our follow-up series includes several offers that go from $500 to $3,000. Think about it this way. When you are making $500, $1,000, or $3,000 for each sale, how many sales would you need to have a very good day? We have 365 days of messages set up to be sent out automatically from our GetResponse account. We want to follow up endlessly with these people because we know that the money is in the list. Immediately, we earn $2.19 a lead through our upsell offers. Then, from our follow-up series, we make another $4.00 per lead. That comes out to be a total of $6.19 per lead. Now, look at the chart above. It shows how the amount of money can increase dramatically as you are able to gather more and more leads. If we only generated 100 leads, over time we would make $619 off of these leads. On the other hand, if we generated 5,000 of them, we would make $30,950 off of them. What if we were able to bring in 18,000 leads? Well, that would come out to be $111,420. Are you starting to

18 understand why they say "The money is in the list."? The great thing about this is that your list continues to grow over time, and it doesn't take a lot to build this up. Take note that the data above is based upon our results for the funnel being presented. This doesn't include results from any of the other things that you can do as an affiliate. Here's a list of things that you can do: Sell your own products and services Get paid as an affiliate Get paid CPA amount per sale, lead, or click Swap promos with other list owners Get paid a flat fee or per click to mail Promote product launches and possibly win prizes Promote webinars to get big paydays And much, much more! You can mail out to your list anytime you want to, and promote anything you want to. I've been making money selling s for more than a dozen years now. Your leads are worth at least an additional $4 per lead. Mailing to your list makes them worth a lot more. I'm going to

19 estimate that they should be worth $10 apiece then, if not more. This definitely makes the math easy though. As you can see in the chart above, 100 leads would be worth $1,000, and 10,000 leads can be worth $100,000. Again, you can build this up over time by getting the right leads and the right traffic sources. If you were to just get 50 leads a day, you could make $180,000 a year over time. In any case, the potential is huge. My favorite way to leverage my list is to swap promotions with other list owners. People with big lists do this all the time. I swap my lists on a regular basis. Still, there are more people with small lists than big lists, and this is an awesome way to make money no matter what size of list you may have. This is really like getting paid to times, in fact. Now, you will have to pay like $19 a month for your account, but it will be well worth it. You'll be able to mail out as often as you want to. Every time you mail to your list, you aren't going to be charged anymore for your mailing service. So, you might as well send plenty of s out. Here's what you're going to do. You are going to ail as an affiliate for another person's offer. Then, they are going to mail as an affiliate for your offer. You're going to get paid for your sales and the sales of the products that they have sold. So, you're getting paid twice. You got paid when you sent your , and you got paid when they sent theirs. Not only did you make money from the mailings, but now you have new leads as well. These are the reasons why you should be list swapping all of the time in addition to collecting leads. A good opt-in page could give you 50 leads or more, and those leads being worth $10 a lead could be worth $500. Now, you're not going to get rich off of 50 leads, but those leads can bring about more leads and more money over time. As previously mentioned, this has the potential to produce a massive income for you over time. With that in mind, think about how little of an effort you have to put into this compared to how much money it could bring in after putting this stuff together once. Would you be willing to swap a free promo with someone that could make you $500? Most people would. So, why doesn't everyone have a lead and sales funnel like this that lets them give something away to make Automated Cash and then make even more money from their list? There are lots of different reasons why people don't do this and have trouble doing it when they try. For the most part, however, it comes down to the fact that collecting good leads and creating sales funnels are expensive, complicated, and time-consuming. That's why very few people ever create them. You either have to write really big checks to programmers, copywriters, webpage designers, etc. to put all of this stuff together for you, or you have to learn how to do all of this yourself. This really isn't easy, even if you're fairly good at setting up web pages and things like that. I

20 remember this process taking me several months in the beginning, even though I had already sold a lot of stuff online prior to that. It just takes a lot to work on these, refine them, and make them work. You are about to skip the $50,000-$100,000 investment that you're about to make, save a year's hard work for yourself, and still get all the benefits of having your own sales funnel.
