The problem is there are so many scams out there that it can be like weaving your way through a minefield, trying to avoid all the Get Rich Quick schemes and other scams out there. Having downloaded this e-book, you have a legitimate way for you to learn how to start making money online, by partnering with Amazon.com, the largest online retailer in the world. Amazon.com sold over 61 BILLION dollars in 2012 and paid out over a BILLION dollars in Commissions to Affiliates that helped them, by simply building websites promoting Amazon products. My name is Gaz Cooper and I make a full time living online building websites which promote products that are sold on Amazon.com, the world s largest online retailer. Amazon Affiliates can make you anywhere from a few hundred to a few thousand dollars a month. This is where you can step in and quickly start making a lucrative residual income that will come in month after month even if you are sitting on the beach. Amazon pays commissions based on your performance and commissions vary depending on what is purchased - see the fee schedule listed below The commission goes all the way up to 15% and is based on how many sales you make each month. As you hit targets, your commission rate goes up so the more you sell the more the commission rate increases.

8 An exception to the above is Computers which are capped at $25 maximum commission. Now you may be thinking, hmmm those commissions seem low, but let me tell you that it s easy to sell stuff when people see that they are buying through Amazon.com and those commissions quickly add up over the space of a month. The other great thing is when you direct people to Amazon s website via your mini-sites many times those people may not buy what your site is promoting but instead they may purchase a more expensive item. You still get paid no matter what they buy as long as they go through your link. Just follow this Amazon Formula step by step and you will be making money in no time.

10 Choosing a Niche. The first step in the process to making a profitable Amazon website is to find a niche. You might be asking what's a Niche? In the context of Internet Marketing it is a subset of a particular market for instance Fitness could be the Market and Niches would be Men's Fitness, Fitness for over fifties and so on. It's always best to start off in a niche that you are experienced with or have some knowledge of. You could even enter a niche in a subject that you have always wanted to find out more about and would be interested in researching. So your first step is... Decide on the topic for your website Grab a pen and a piece of paper or just open up notepad on your computer and start listing all the things you have a passion or interest in it might be baking cakes, Mixed Martial Arts, Your Pets, Gardening or Metal Detecting. Next add to that list any subject that you would like to discover more about maybe you always wanted to play the trumpet or become a DJ. Don't over think this process, just aim to get a big a list as possible it doesn't matter what the subject or niche is as long as you think you will enjoy setting up a site and writing about the topic. As I mentioned before don't worry about being an expert in the subject to start off with.

11 A good idea is also to look to see if there are other blogs and forums in the niche you have chosen, don't worry about competition or anything like that, you just want to see if there is an active community online who are interested in the subject or hobby. Next step is... Can you promote products in this topic? So lets head over to Amazon.com We are going to be looking at three sets of Criteria Products Are there a a wide range of products that you can promote in this niche and are there at least a few products that sell for more than $100? Reviews Once you have found some potential products you will see customer reviews on the product page. Each product on Amazon will have reviews submitted by customers who have purchased the item and posted it on Amazon for potential customers to read it and decide if it is a good product that performs as advertised. They can rate the product between 1 to 5 stars with 5 stars being the top score.

12 It is common sense that if the reviews are bad then when a potential new customer reads the negative review it is very unlikely they will purchase that product, so it is very important that we only choose products that have at least 5 or more positive reviews preferably rated 4 to 5 stars. We also want to check that the last 3 reviews are all positive and again min 4-5 stars. The reason for this is when a potential customer comes to purchase they will rarely read past the top 3 reviews so if the last 3 reviews posted are positive that will be a big help in making that customer make a positive purchase decision. OK so let s just recap on where we are at 1.) You have found a range of products with at least a few that sell for $100 or more 2.) The product has at least 5, preferably more, positive reviews with at least a score of 4-5 stars. 3.) The last 3 reviews are all positive with a min of 4 star reviews. 3 ½ is acceptable as long as they are all positive. So I'll give you an example here and I am going to chose 'The Survival and Homesteading Niche' as something I am interested in. It's not something that is actually a hobby of mine but I love all those Zombie programs like the Walking Dead LOL. So what would homesteaders or survivalists be interested in? I reckon Generators would be a good start and here's one I found on Amazon that meets all the right criteria

13 As you can see it is well over the $100 minimum, don't be afraid to sell some high ticket items like this one, you might not sell as many but you will get some big commissions! It also have 11 customer reviews with a rating of 4.3 out of 5 stars. I've checked out the last few reviews and they are on the whole favorable with one negative review so I would go with this product. I'd then look for a few more items over $100 and a few in the $20$100 price range to have a good wide range of products on my site. I'd be looking at survival knives, Survival and Homesteading books, equipment for preserving food and maybe some more generators. OK with have found a Niche and some products to promote so that we can monetise that niche. So lets take a look at... Keyword Research

14 Carrying Out Keyword Research Before we start setting up our site we need to do a little bit of research on keywords. There are many ways for visitors to visit your site for instance through Facebook or Pinterest or even paid traffic but we are going to concentrate on organic traffic in this E-Book and basically that means visitors coming to your site via a search engine such as Google. Every time you write a new post for your site you need to think about optimising your content so that the search engines can understand it, and in turn know when to display it in the results. This is callled On Site SEO or Search Engine Optimisation, where you set up your site so that the Search Engines favor it. So we need to find the keywords that your potential visitors might be looking for and also letting the search engines know what your site is about. Ideally you should carry out some Keyword Research before you write any content so you can be sure that people out there are actually looking for the information you are providing.

15 Understanding how Visitors Look for Keywords. OK, to help you understand the visitors process I am going to give you an example. Lets say I was in the market for a new ceiling fan I might go Google and search for Ceiling fans this is a primary keyword It's short because I'm not really sure what I'm looking for and I'm in the information gathering stage. Primary keywords come at the start of the journey, they're very competitive and hard to rank for but you need to include them in your content so that the Search Engines know what it is about. But really this doesn't give me enough information. You see I need a Ceiling fan for my bathroom and it is pretty small. So I go back again and type 'ceiling fan for a small bathroom' these longer and more specific keywords, or phrases are called Long Tail Keywords and they are found at the end of the research journey. Individually they don't get a lot of searches, but the person typing that keyword phrase into Google has done all of their research and is looking to spend their cash - so these are great keywords to target!

16 Another way people search is on product names so they might search for something like 'Westinghouse WH2000i Digital Inverter Generator' these days you are not likely to rank for this keyword in Google as the first page is usually dominated by e-commerce sites who Google give preference to. So what you need to do is add something the term review to the end of the product name 'Westinghouse WH2000i Digital Inverter Generator Review' or Westinghouse WH2000i Review. You can even compare two products side by side. Keyword Research Tools There are a number of tools available to help you with your Keyword Research, some are free and some require a little investment we are going to just discuss a couple of free tools here. The first is Google's own Google Keyword Planner tool and the second is ubersuggest.org. As the web address for the Google tool keeps changing the easiest way to find it is go to Google.com and search for 'Google Keyword Planner'

17 Google Keyword Planner You need to sign up to Google Adwords through you Gmail account to use this tool it is pretty straightforward to do and won't cost you anything. This will Carry out a search for keyword or ad group ideas and insert a high level keyword into the box. Examples could be 'portable Generator' 'Survival Knife' or '3D TV' Google will then provide you with other keywords that are being searched for that are similar to your top level keywords.

18 You will want to look through some of the suggestions and use common sense to decide if they are articles that you can write about. So for instance it might pull back keywords like 'best portable generator' which would be a keyword that we could write about. It also might pull back 'Portable Generator Wallmart' which would be of no interest. The Ubersuggest Tool The Ubersuggest tool doesn't give you any search volumes, just keywords but I don't always find that the Google Keyword planner is that accurate anyway. As you did with the Google Keyword planner just type in the high level keyword and Ubersuggest will return a series of keywords that you can use to see what information people are searching for. Here's an example here using the Term Survival Knives

19 You can see below it has found 247 suggestions it gives a list of ideas but you can also click on the the green circles to exand the keywords even more. I can already see a few good ideas for articles just from these keywords 'Best Survival Knives with Kit' 'Top Five Survival Knives with Firestarter' 'What are the Best Surival Knives made in the USA'. You can see how easy it is! You can go really deep into keyword reseach but I prefer to get as much great content out there as possible and concentrate on the Long Tails.

20 I don't always rate the search volumes that are given by the keyword planner for instance I have a keyword on the 1st page of Google that the Keyword Planner tells me only has 20 searches a month, I have sold well over a $100 of this product in the last month. Another keyword I have sitting at the 1st position on page 1 apparently gets 2,900 searches a month and I have yet to make a sale in over a month! We will revisit Keywords again once we have set up our site but our next step is to get hosting and register a domain.

21 Choosing Your Domain Name When I first started it was an advantage to have an exact match domain for instance besthomegenerators.com or something along those lines but these days if you do manage to register a domain like that one you stand a chance of getting an over-optimization penalty from Google. Ideally you will be looking for a brand name with your keywords included. So ideas in the Survival Niche might be something like Survivalinfohub.com or emergencysurvivalhq.com It could even include your name Survivewithgaz.com for instance! OK, once you have found a domain where you have your exact product name in the domain we are ready to register that domain. Registering a domain means control of that domain and they are rented for 12 months at a time and as long as you pay your rental every year then you own the domain. If you decide not to pay your yearly rental of your domain name, you will lose it. A domain name costs around $10.00 a year so less than a $1 a month and without it you cannot have a website. Of course I understand you may have questions as you read through this e-book and I encourage you to check out the AMZ Authority Zone We have a full support forum and coaching forum where you can get all your questions answered by our very active great support and community forum 24/7, plus I spend a lot of time on the support forum also. So to register domain names, I recommend Namecheap where you can register your domain name for around $10 a year.

22 Hosting Your Domain OK, you have registered your domain name and now we need to do what s called host your domain. Basically this means renting some space on the internet where you can park your domain name. Every single website online has to pay for hosting just as they have to pay to rent a domain name, it s just part of doing business online, just as in the real offline world you would have to register your business name and rent a store to start your business. The average cost of hosting if you looked around is about $10.00 per month.

23 Pointing Your Name Servers to Your Hosting Account. If you didn't take us up on our Free Website Offer and decided to register the Domain and Hosting yourself through Namecheap and another Hosting company then you will need to Point your name servers to your hosting account. Sounds difficult but it really is a very simple step and what it means is we have to tell our hosting company where our domain name is. So, first step is: 1.)Go to where you registered your domain name and sign into your account. 2.)You will now see your private area which will look something like this

24 The next step is to click on the Number of domains in your account. I have highlighted the area in yellow in the picture below and added an arrow to point to exactly what you need to click on. You will now be on the following page,

25 You should see your domain name where I have pointed the blue arrow. Please ignore the red lines as I blocked out a couple of my domain names for privacy reasons. Now double click on your domain name which will transport you to the following page:

26 Next Step: click on Transfer DNS to Webhost. I have added the red arrow to show you exactly where to click After clicking on that you will end up on the following page: This is where you will enter your DNS servers for your hosting company in this example we are using Hostmonster who we no longer use but for example purposes we are using it here. Ns1.hostmonster.com Ns2.hostmonster.com You will enter first the ns1.hostmonster.com number where the red arrow is pointing in position 1 You will enter the NS2 number where the Blue arrow is pointing in position 2

27 No need to worry about the rest of the empty spaces. Now click on Save Changes and ensure it confirms these saved changes. It will now take max between 24/48 hours for your domain to merge with your hosting account and you don't need to do anything more than be patient and wait for it to complete.

28 Installing WordPress Your domain name has now merged with your hosting account and it s time to install your first ever website. This is so easy and you ll wonder why you did not start way earlier. When it comes to building websites you can't go wrong with WordPress.org it s a self-hosted system that is completely free to download and install. You can choose from hundreds of free (and paid for) website design templates (called themes) so that you can have a great looking website with no coding skills required. If you can use a word processor like Microsoft Word then you can use WordPress to build a great website. The best way to learn how to set this up is by following along a video Each hosting company has there own way of installing Wordpress but for this example we are going to use Arvixe. The easiest way to learn how to add Wordpress is with a video so click on the link below to see How to install WordPress

29 You could also do a search on YouTube for how to install WordPress on 'your Hosting Company'. Please make sure that you choose a strong password and that you don t use the default admin as your username. In both cases think of something that would be hard for other people to guess; this is just to increase the security of your log in details. Building Out Your Amazon WordPress Site. I am going to give you some basic knowledge about setting up your site using WordPress it is pretty straightforward but there are a lot of separate steps. 30 There are also plenty of tutorials on YouTube if you get stuck at any stage. Go to and log into your control panel using your user name and password that was provided to you when you installed Wordpress. You should then see a page that will look something like this Wordpress Updates fairly regularly so the look of the page might have changed since I took these Screenshots. Under Settings->General Add Your Site Title and Tagline Which will be the name of your site and then for a tagline you can add something that relates to your site

31 Changing Your Permalink Structure Yes I know, you re thinking, WHAAAAT, what the heck are permalinks? Don t worry, just follow the steps, I assure you it is very easy. All permalinks do is change how the page address is shown. For example, right now your permalink structure will look like We are going to change it so it looks like which will help a lot with ranking in search engines. Don t worry it is very simple! First step, in your left side toolbar click on, Settings and then Permalinks. See an example below:

32 You will then come to this page: It will be set to default so you need to change it to Custom Structure by checking the button where I have indicated with the angled arrow. Then you need to change or add the following into the custom structure box: /%postname% Make sure it is EXACTLY like I have set out above. Now Click Save changes and move on to the next step :)

Adding Plugins To Your Amazon Site We are now going to add what are called plugins, which make some things automated for your website, and also some security plugins to help protect your website from hackers. This is very easy to do, so just follow the step by step instructions. Here is the list: Bullet Proof Security Secures your website against hackers Log in Lockdown Locks your site if anyone tries to log into it Google XML Sitemap A Sitemap so Google can see all the pages of your site. Fast Secure Contact form A way to add a custom contact for your Contact Us page All in One SEO Helps make your site rank in the search engines Pretty Link Lite We will be using this one later on in the course

34 First step is to click on Plugins in the left menu bar (see below) Then click on Add New First on the list of plugins is BulletProof Security so we are going to do a search for that.

35 Ensure you search for it exactly like this: BulletProof Security Notice BulletProof is one word, no space. It will ask you if you are sure you want to install BulletProof Security. Click YES then click on Activate Plugin.

36 Then on the next page click on Settings. Now you have to activate each one of the BulletProof sections Don t worry if you don't understand why. Just do it and your blog will be protected from 99% of hackers.

37 We will now install the second plugin on the list which is another security plugin. This one will block and lock your site should anyone try to access your site by guessing your password. It will lock the site if the password is entered 3 times incorrectly. So again click on Plugins. Then Add New.

38 Then enter Login LockDown exactly as I have spelt it. It will ask you to confirm if you wish to install this plugin. Click Yes, then click Activate Plugin and that is it for this plugin.

39 Now go ahead and add the remaining plugins in the list using the same steps as the previous instructions. Google XML Sitemaps Fast Secure Contact Form All in One SEO pack Pretty Links Lite OK, well done! You now have all your plugins installed. We just have one last task to complete for plugins and we can then move on. We will set up the Contact Form and put it on your contact page so people can contact you. This is very easy to do. In your back end control panel click on Plugins.

40 Then find Fast Secure Contact Form from the list and click on Settings. Then copy the code, which is highlighted in the above example, and we are going to paste that into the contact page.

41 To do this, go to Pages. Add a new page and call it Contact Us Then paste the code which is [si-contact-form form='1'] into your contact page, just like in the below example.

42 Then click Update You will now have a form on your contact page which, when a visitor uses it to send you a message, will deliver an to your address which you specified in your hosting account. Here is what the form will look like on your contact page:

43 Downloading FREE Header Making Software We are going to be making a nice header for the top of our website based on the subject of your product. In the next few steps I am going show you how to do just this by using some of my step by step instruction videos. Now that you have downloaded your software, I am going to show you how to make a header graphic for your site. Let s watch another video which will walk you through the steps. It really is as easy as typing in a few words and clicking save and you will have a very professional headline graphic you can add to your Amazon Website, all in just 2 minutes!!!

44 Please visit Amz Free Graphic Creator and follow the simple instructions. How To Create a CALL To Action Graphic You will want to create a Call To Action graphic to direct people to Amazon from your website and it s very easy to do so. Again, it is better illustrated by letting you watch over my shoulder as I create it using the Free Header software we downloaded earlier. It s very easy to do and you can access the video by visiting: Watch the VIDEO HERE - How To Make a Call To Action Graphic Adding Your Header to Your Website You have made yourself a nice header and you are now ready to add it to your website. In this section that is exactly what we will be doing, so the first thing to do is make sure you are in the back end of your website in the control area. Go ahead and click on Appearance.

45 You will then come onto the following page. Here, please click on Header You will then come to the following page where you will upload the header that you made for your site. Click on Browse and find the header you made which will be somewhere on your computer, wherever you saved it.

46 Once you find the file, click on Upload and then click on Save Changes at the bottom left of the page. You can now visit your site and you should see your new header there.

47 Clean up the default widgets The information that appear in the sidebar of your website are known as widgets. For instance if you take a look at this site You will see an Amazon Discount Finder widget, a Recent Posts widget and a Categories Widget. There are all sorts of widgets you can add to this area and the default theme usually comes pre-installed with a few that you don't need. I would remove them all apart from the recent posts and categories widget and then decide what others you might like once your site is set up. Don't worry if you don't see anything in the recent posts area this will fill up as you add posts to your site.

48 Amazon Associates Disclosure This step is very important as Amazon will close your account if you don't have the Amazon Associate Disclosure on your site. You will need to add this once you are approved by Amazon as an affiliate. You will use the text widgetto display your Amazon Associates disclosure. I'm not going to include the exact disclosure here as Amazon amends it from time to time. Instead click here to go to the Operating Agreement and scroll down to the section called Identifying Yourself as an Associate. Copy and paste the required wording into your widget and this disclosure will appear in your sidebar.

49 About Us page You already have a contact us page on your site next up is an About Us page so that people can find out more about what your site is about. Go into the Pages section of the Dashboard and add this new page. Here are some examples of About pages to give you an idea what to write You also might want to delete the Hello World Post and the Sample Page as well at this point. Add a Privacy Policy Page You will also want to add a privacy policy to your site which lets the reader know how you will use any information they give you and whether your site uses cookies. The easiest way to do this is use an online generator to create the text you need and then cut and paste it into a new page on your site. You can carry out a Google search for 'Free Privacy Policy Generators' to find them. This one is currently popular:

50 Add a Disclosure Policy Page You also need to add a page that contains your disclosure policy, this lets your readers know who your website generates income. Again you can Google 'Free Disclosure Policy Generators' to find them. Here is a popular one: All done time to add some content!!

51 Adding Content So we have got most of the technical stuff out of the way. I realise it is not always easy to learn from an E-Book and that you might have got stuck along the way. You can always search google or Check on YouTube for tutorials on areas that you have difficulty on. The other option of course is to join my AMZ Authority Zone membership site. Anyway let's move on to adding content to your site. Google will come down hard on you if they think that you are purely an affiliate site out to make sales. They want to see that you are adding value to the your visitor and that is what I am going to show you how to do here. You will need a good mix of content, including; Informational Articles, Review Articles, Buyers Guides and Comparison Tables. You review articles will be where you have your call to actions, contextual links and links to Amazon. The other articles will all point to the review posts.

52 Informative articles Let's start with the informative articles that people will find useful at the start of their 'journey'. Hopefully you will have some ideas for these articles from the Keyword Research that you carried out. So for instance here are a few ideas I found researching keywords in the survival niche. 5 Earthquake Safety Tips Survival Kit Essentials 5 survival apocalypse recipes survival quotes from the hunger games how to survive a dog attack There are just thousands of ideas to write about and if you are ever stuck just head over to Amazon...

53 I went over to the Books section and typed 'Survival Books' in the search box There are over 1,000 books on survival so we know for sure that it is a great niche to sell in but we are looking for article ideas. If you click on the books available for the topic you are researching you will find that most of them give you the option to 'Look Inside'

54 So I have found this book If we open it up it gives us a menu of contents and this is where we can get some great ideas.

55 As you can see there are lots of ideas here for instance What Bait to use for trapping Game How to set up a water Trap 5 tips for successful Trapping Some of the books are less than a $1 and it might be worth buying a few to get more ideas. You don't want to steal their content but you can use there topics for outlines and rewrite it in your own words. Structure for an Informational Article You will see on a lot of the big sites the 5 ways to... or 7 tips for...these are always good articles to add to your site. I would set them up with an Introduction, followed by the 5 or 7 points you are making and then end with a summary and a call to action, this call to action would normally link to one or more of your review pages. You can also add contextual links in the article as well. Make sure you use headings to break the article into sections and write nice short sentences. If you don't already have an Amazon Affiliate Account we will discuss that next if you do you can skip the next section and go straight to Buying Guides & Review Articles.

56 OK if you don't have an Amazon Affiliate Account you will want to make sure that you have a reasonable looking site with an About Us, Contact Us page and then at least 10 informational articles of at least 500 words long added to your site. If Amazon thinks that you site is thin and of poor quality then you will not get approved so make sure that you have some quality articles added before applying.

57 Signing Up For Your Amazon Associates Account Now you have the basics of a site we can now apply to Amazon for an Amazon Associates account, so go to: It might take a couple of days for you to be approved.

58 Buyers Guides Buyers guides are a great edition to your site, with some sites it might be easier to find ideas for this than others. For instance with my survival site I could add buyers guides to portable home generators or to survival knives. Some Sites for instance if you have a home improvement site allows you to add dozens of buyers guides for all the different power tools you can buy. Buyer's Guides help your readers understand the features that come with the products and to see which features meet their needs, and which would be a waste of money to them. Let's take a look at some examples so you can get an idea of what your Guides should include This is a fairly short Buyers Guide

59 This is one of my favorite sites as the two ladies who run this site make thousands of dollars every month with this site and it is a great example of how a profitable Amazon site should look. I'd suggest taking an in depth look at this site and study what they are doing. You can also add an FAQ at the end of your buyers guide. The easiest way to do this is to go over to Yahoo Answers and see what questions are being asked about products in your niche.

60 Product Review Articles These are the articles that will have your call to action banners and contextual affiliate links in. Once the visitor has read through your review hopefully they will click through to the product and buy it from Amazon. You re probably wondering how you re going to review these products without purchasing them and the good news is that you don t need to spend a cent to write a really balanced and informative review that will help people decide whether they should buy or not. You can easily find detailed information on your chosen product by visiting the product page at Amazon.com where it will have detailed information on your chosen product. It will also have the product description and the product specifications which you will add to your Descriptions and your Specifications pages. You can copy these pages and re write them, but do not just copy them and put them on your site. You MUST re- write them and reword them so the content is unique. Customer reviews on Amazon.com are a crucial part of your research so you need to look for products that have at least ten reviews. More than twenty is better still.

61 The more people leaving reviews the more popular the product is, and the easier it will be for you to convert the reader into a buyer. Scroll down to the bottom of the Amazon.com page for the products you are researching and check to see if the most recent comments are positive. When your reader clicks through this is what they will see first so it s important for your conversion. you must provide great value to your readers if you are going to get them to click through to Amazon. Be sure to research your product and write a compelling review.

62 There are many ways of setting out a review article but here is one way that we have used to some success. It is an easy template to use if you are just getting started and you can always elaborate on it or change it as you become more adept at writing reviews. I would mix it up a bit though and not have dozens of cookie -cutter reviews on your site. Amazon Review Guideline Product Review: (Enter your Product here Make Sure You Use your Exact Keyword ) Company: Amazon.com How Much: (Give a Rough Price of between $X.XX and $X.XX do not put one set price) Who Would Buy This: Those shopping for Things we liked: (Include primary Keywords in this paragraph and be sure to point out the benefits of the product here. You may write 1,2 or 3 paragraphs Things we did not like (Read the reviews on Amazon.com and be sure to point out a few negatives but be sure that you provide a solution to any negative you point out. For example: The

(this should be around words in this section it is easy to write that just read reviews and rewrite them in your OWN words don't copy verbatim.) Guarantee: (here mention the product guarantee and if they offer free shipping. Most of the time, Amazon offers a 2 year warranty, 30 day returns and free shipping. Be sure to mention these here) Is the (your keyword) worth the money? (Enter here your Keyword Phrase and why you feel it is good value ) Where Can I Buy this product Click Here To Buy: LINK TO Amazon and the PRODUCT Best Place to Read Real Customer Reviews from People that own the (Product Name): Link to reviews page on Amazon (you can even tell them how many reviews it has) Conclusion A final summary of the product and a call to Action Banner This is just one example and is not set in stone.

64 Here are some more tips and ideas for Product Reviews Choose your target Demographic A good way to write your reviews is to think of the demographic or audience that you are likely to be targetting. Are they Male, Female, students, elderly or younger people. For instance lets say you had a site on bodybuilding I would make a guess that you would be targetting guys in there twenties to early thirties you could write articles for different levels for instance guys who are beginning bodybuilding or intermediate or advanced bodybuilders. Obviously each article would need to resonate with the reader.

65 Craft an engaging and eye-catching title You can just go with Product XXX Review but try to add a number of other review articles with more catchy titles You want people to read your review, so you need to grab their attention and let them know that your review will help them decide whether the product is right for them or not. Here are some examples once again using the Survival and Homesteading Niche. 66 Other key components to include in your review At least one image of the product people like to see what they are buying. If you can add in more images, from other angles, or showing the product in use then that s even better. A Buy Now button Add a Buy Now button that links through to the Amazon information page. I like to have a mixture of text links and buttons to encourage people to click through. Add a Related YouTube Video YouTube are owned by Google so it doesn't hurt to have a video embedded on you review post. Ideally you will want a video of the product from the manufacturer. Just be careful not to use a video that is openly promoting the product, otherwise you could lose your reader to another website and lose the sale! Here is a Video on how to do this

67 Comparison If the product is expensive compared to other models then you can help the reader justify the cost. For instance it might have more features or might be more robust or have more longevity than cheaper models. Other reviews Check out some of the reviews and Paraphrase a couple of them in your articles, for instance you could say John from Texas mentioned that Product X was really easy to install, you can read more about what he says about the installation process here... If it has been rated by a Consumer Body or won an award then say that too. You are helping the potenital Purcharse to validate their purchase, and the best validation comes from other people who have used the product. Make sure that you don't just copy and paste customer reviews from Amazon.com as this is also against their Terms of Service. Length of your Review - usually the longer the review the higher the conversion rate. You should ideally be looking at least 800 words but the longer the better. Obviously without to much waffling!

68 Adding Amazon Affiliate Links To Your Web Pages In order for you to be able to make commissions you are going to have to add Amazon hyperlinks to your web pages and each one of these has your Amazon ID embedded in it. So, when you direct someone via your website to Amazon they will know it s you that sent them and that you are entitled to the commissions. In order to get these links you first need to log into your Amazon account and go to the page where your product is located. If you ve forgotten just to a search on Amazon s home page and it will take you to the relevant page. When you are logged into your Amazon account you will see a toolbar across the top of your browser and you will see a button that says Link to this page. Click on that link.

70 Please Note: I crossed out my Amazon ID Be sure to copy it exactly like I have done in the above example. It is a good idea to paste it into your browser and check that it sends you to your product on Amazon. Now save that link while we head over to our websites back end control panel where we are going to make it look pretty, because in its original form the link is rather long and ugly. So head over to your website and log into your back end control panel which will be Now click on Pretty Link

71 Which will take you to this page: Click on Add a Pretty Link. Then, paste in your long Amazon Affiliate link and fill in the other relevant areas (see example below)

72 You will now have a Pretty Link that we will use throughout our site to link to Amazon, which will have your affiliate ID already embedded into it. Repeat this process for any other products that you promote. Now copy that pretty link and get it ready for the next step which will be linking all your keywords and pictures to your Amazon product using your Pretty Link. Linking Your Text And Pictures To Amazon Using Your Pretty Affiliate Link We are now going to start adding affiliate links to our posts and the pictures we have added to our site. This is a very easy process and I am going to outline how to do it here. Go to your Control Panel in the back end of your website and click on Posts. Then you are going to add your Amazon Affiliate link to your keywords and text on all your posts.

73 Don't go crazy adding links on these posts as Google will penalize your site. A good ratio is 1 link to 1 post or page on your site. So for instance if you have a buying guide, 5 informational posts and 3 review posts that is a total of 9 affiliate links that you can add. I would add 3 links to each of the review posts.

74 Once you have highlighted the text you want to link, click the little hyperlink in the toolbar that looks like a chain (see below) and then fill in your pretty link that we made earlier. Then

75 Now just repeat that process adding links to Amazon throughout your pages. So now you have a site set up all ready to make money! But remember this is an on going project you can't just sit back. Do the Work The key to future success with this project is that you need to spend some time working on your website each and every month. You need to be adding a steady stream of good quality content to your site, which will please both your readers and the Search Engines You need get into a routine and make it a habit to work on your site at set times every day. I understand that you might be busy with Work or Family commitments but instead of sitting infront of TV every night commit to an hour or two to work on adding to your site.

76 Informational Articles Aim to publish two informative articles on your website each month. Don t forget these should be at least 800 words long. You might like to write them both on the same day and then use the schedule function in the Post Dashboard to have them publish two weeks apart. Buyer's Guides - Try and add at least one a month, obviously depending on what your site is about this may be easier for some than others. Reviews Try and write two good quality review a months because a good quality review is where you are going to make your income. Once again make sure that you write at least 800 words of quality content. Remember you can always outsource your reviews to free up time if you have the funds The main thing is consistancy try to get in the habit of adding the minimum amount of content I have mentioned above. You don't have to stop there you can add more content if you have the time, just make sure it is great quality.

77 Taking Advantage of the Holiday Season Now let's have a look at how you can use content to cash in on the Holiday season. Ask any Amazon Affiliate and they will tell you that October November and December are when their commissions sky rocket! It Starts with Halloween, then Thanksgiving and Black Friday and then of course Christmas. I also make sure that I hit the Health and Fitness Market as well when everyone is making their New Years Resolutions! You need to make sure that plan in advance for this period and have your content in place and indexed in Google. The great thing about Christmas is that everyone is buying and every year more and more people are doing there shopping online. They also don't buy just one item they will buy their complete shopping list of presents in one go from Amazon and you will get the commissions on everything that they buy! A lot more people are shopping online on Black Friday as well which comes the day after Thanksgiving. I know of marketers who have made Thousands of dollars in just a couple of days over the Black Friday weekend sales. Black Friday is followed up on the Monday by Cyber Monday so this is another one to look out for.
