3 Kiss Awa y BEAUTY THAT COUNTS Mary Kay has donated millions of dollars (USD) to causes that change the lives of women and children around the world from the worldwide sale of Beauty That Counts products. The donations are giving victims of domestic violence a chance to heal, cancer sufferers hope for tomorrow and orphaned children a reason to smile. SHELTER GRANTS The Mary Kay FoundationSM awards $3 million in shelter grants to 150 domestic violence shelters nationwide each year. Each shelter receives a $20,000 grant to help combat domestic violence, educate local communities and provide much needed shelter and rehabilitation services. NATURE EXPLORE CLASSROOMS Mary Kay Inc. and The Mary Kay FoundationSM have committed to building 20 Nature Explore Classrooms at women s shelters across the country. The Nature Explore Classrooms are the first of their kind to be built at domestic violence shelters. The classrooms provide outdoor learning spaces where the power of nature can help children learn, play and heal from abuse. Don t look away/love is respect Mary Kay is the lead sponsor of the loveisrespect text for help service the nation s first texting program designed to help young people with healthy dating and relationships. Alpha Chi Omega Mary Kay and Alpha Chi Omega are in partnership to provide education and prevention tools to members of the sorority and their campus communities across the United States. Social media and engagement campaigns, palm cards and resources will help even more young people understand the warning signs of an abusive relationship and to pledge with us to not look away from abuse.
