2 First Grade -Clear plastic container with lid (needs to be the size of a shoebox, can be found at Target/Walmart, etc. for around $1, Sterilite is a popular brand) -½ inch 3-ring binder -Crayons (24 count) -Markers (8 count, wide tip or skinny your choice) -Colored pencils (12 count) -Box of #2 pencils (Ticonderoga Tri-Write preferred) (x 3 boxes) -Large pink eraser (x 3) -Scissors (Fiskars kid-sized; rounded tip not necessary) -Glue stick (x 2) -Zippered pencil pouch -Small bottle of Elmer s glue -Ruler with inches and centimeters (standard 12 inches) -KJV Bible -Bag of jellybeans (small-sized Jelly Belly or Starburst preferred) -Large bottle of hand sanitizer -Box of tissues -Container of disinfecting wipes -Book bag -Lunchbox Notes: 1. 6 Core Organizational Requirements by ALL 7-9 teachers: 7 th through 9 th Grade Organizational Scheme: *Each subject area (English, math, Bible, science, history, health, foreign language 1 st year, and Basic Computing) will require a separate 1/2 3-ring binder with pocket dividers (i.e., 8-10 ½ 3-ring binders).
