2 MAYVILLE SCHOOL DISTRICT 4K Supply List boxes of 8 Washable markers 1 - bottle of glue (no gel) 2 - dry erase markers 6 -glue sticks 2 - boxes of Crayola Crayons - regular or large (no more than 24 count) 1 - scissors-blunt tip (labeled w/child s name) 2 - pocket folders (labeled w/ child s name) 2 - containers of antibacterial wipes 1 - container baby wipes 1 - large box of kleenex 1 - package of paper plates A-L- large plates M-Z small plates 2 - rolls of paper toweling or 2 packages of napkins 1 - box of 5 oz. dixie cups 1- box Zip-Lock bags- Last name starting with: A-L- sandwich size M-Z- gallon size 1 - LARGE backpack that holds a regular sized pocket folder (labeled w/child s name) 1 - standard crayon box 1 - ream of copy paper Change of clothing to include: socks, underwear and weather appropriate shirt and pants. (labeled) *You may be asked to replenish items later in the year* NOTE: If you are willing and able to donate, the 4K would appreciate: white or brown lunch bags, white card stock, cotton balls. *Each 4K site may have additional items to add after the school year begins

3 KINDERGARTEN Some supplies will be specifically for your child, while others will be shared within the classroom - so please note which items we ve asked to be labeled with your child s name because not everything will need a label. 1- backpack (large enough to fit a folder) 1 - workbox for supplies (small rectangular box with no handle) LABEL with child s name 2 - boxes of crayons - 24 regular size crayons 1 - box of washable markers (classic colors, Crayola) 1 - set of washable watercolor paints - 8 color set LABEL 1 - small bottle of white school glue 15 - (or more) large glue sticks 20 - pencils (thick or thin pencils, sharpened) 2 - large erasers (not the pencil top erasers) 1 - pair of scissors LABEL 6 - low odor black dry erase markers 2 - large boxes of Kleenex (we share with specials teachers such as gym, music, etc) 1 - spiral notebook (Wide line) LABEL 2-2 pocket folders LABEL 1 - pair of gym shoes (to be left at school) LABEL - if your child is not yet able to tie their own shoes, please send velcro or no-tie shoes 1 - pair headphones (NO EARBUDS ALLOWED) - place in a zip bag labeled with child s name (please make sure they fit your child) LABEL 1- Art Shirt (ex: smock, old oversized t-shirt) label the shirt and put it in a labeled gallon zip bag 1 - box gallon size zip Bags (the kind with the zipper, if possible) *Please put these supplies in the workbox: 1 set of crayons, 2 pencils, 1 glue stick, 1 eraser, and scissors *Please put the rest of the glue sticks, pencils, and eraser in a gallon size zip bag with child s name on it. Thanks! *Supplies might need to be replenished as the year progresses, so you may want to stock up at the back-to-school sales. *Full extra set of clothing-undies, socks, pants and shirt labeled and kept in bag in backpack. (health room suggestion) * Classroom donations gladly accepted : post it notes, masking tape, colorful or gel pens, magic erasers, Clorox Wipes, dry erase erasers, styrofoam plates (for art project),

4 FIRST GRADE- Label ALL of your supplies Computer Headphones (NO EARBUDS ALLOWED) please LABEL a gallon Ziploc bag and put the headphones in the bag 1- computer mouse (wireless or cord) 2-4 oz. bottle of Elmer s glue (NO GEL/COLORED) LABEL (1 is for Art) 8- Glue Sticks LABEL 1- Pack of cap erasers 2- Large boxes of Kleenex (family size) 1- Pair of gym shoes (to be left at school) LABEL 1- Box of 10 Washable Markers (Fine Line) LABEL 2- Boxes of 24 crayons Regular colors - no pastels or fluorescent 1- scissors - (children s FISKARS recommended) LABEL 1- Pencil box not the large cases as they take up too much room LABEL 10- Sharpened pencils that will be shared with whole class 1- Red Pocket folder (bottom pockets, not side pockets) LABEL 1 - Green 3-Prong Pocket folder (bottom pockets, not side pockets) LABEL 3- Blue pocket folders (bottom pockets, not side pockets) LABEL 1- Other colored or decorated folder (bottom pockets, not side pockets) LABEL 1- Yellow pocket folder (bottom pockets, not side pockets) LABEL 1- Orange pocket folder (bottom pockets, not side pockets) LABEL 1 - Wide lined spiral notebook 8- Black EXPO Dry Erase Markers (other markers don t erase well or last as long) 1 - Old clean sock or cloth to erase Wipe-off boards 1- Art Shirt (ex: smock, old t-shirt) please label the shirt and put it in a labeled Ziploc bag 3 packs-post it notes (3 x3) 1-1 binder with hard cover (with 2 inside pockets) 1 - box of gallon ziploc bags (last name A-I) 1- box of snack ziploc bags (last name J- Q) 1 - box of quart ziploc bags (last name R - Z) 1- container of lysol wipes (Mrs. Schwirtz s class only) ***extra clothes if your child is prone to accidents PLEASE LABEL ALL BELONGINGS- Please do this with your child s coat, snow pants, boots, and such too. (Then when it gets put in Lost and found we can find the owner as our Lost & Found has an overabundance of unmarked belongings each year.) **Supplies will need to be replenished as the year progresses. *Please put these supplies in the work box: 1 set of crayons, 2 sharpened pencils, 2 glue sticks, scissors, and 1-4 oz. bottle of glue

Ed. 24- sharpened pencils 1- large eraser (NOT SOAP ERASERS) 1 - scissors 1 - ruler (inches & centimeters) The FLEXIBLE ones work best 3 - two-pocket folders 1 box of 24 colored pencils 1 box of washable markers (10 count) 8 - dry erase EXPO markers for class bucket - do not label 2 - red pens 2- Clorox Wipes container 1 - old sock or cloth for dry erase boards 1- Art Shirt (ex: smock, old t-shirt) please label the shirt and put it in a labeled ziploc bag 3-4 packages of Post-its 1 box of zipper sandwich bags 1 bag of gallon zipper bags **Supplies will need to be replenished as the year progresses.
