2 1 st Grade Items should be labeled with your child s name. All supplies should be brought to school by September 1 st. Individual teachers may request specific items not listed below. 1 pencil box (8 x5 x3 ) 4 sharpened pencils with erasers Eraser Crayons (no more than 24) Blunt scissors (Fiskars preferred) White Elmer s glue (no colored glue) 2 glue sticks 1 pencil sharpener with cover 3 composition notebooks (no spiral notebooks) 1 highlighter 1 backpack/bookbag (no rolling backpacks) 1 set of headphones (to use when on the computer)

3 2 nd Grade Book Bag (*No rolling book bags allowed) Jack D. Gordon School Agenda (to purchase through PTA) ZIPPERED PENCIL CASE/PENCIL BOX with: o Sharpened pencils/mechanical pencils (to be replaced throughout the year,) o Erasers o sharpener with cover to hold shavings o 1 pack of red pens o 3 different colored highlighters o 1 box of 24 crayons o 1 pack of colored pencils o 1 pack of glue sticks o 1 bottle of glue o scissors The following school materials will be kept in class and/or book bag: 4 plastic duo-tang folders with pockets and fasteners (filled with wide-ruled notebook paper) 3 composition books 1 pack of sheet protectors (25 count) 2 packs of white copy paper Headphones (with small plug) for computer lab. Place in a zip lock with child s name. Individual teachers will also ask for specific items not on this generic list once school starts.

5 4 th Grade *This list is a general fourth grade supply list of supplies used by all teachers in fourth grade. 8 4th and 5th grades: 3 ring binder (1 or 2 ) 1 pack of notebook paper (please clip in binder) 1 pack of copy paper (please bring to Dr. Driscoll) Pencils and erasers Soprano recorder (sold by PTA for $8) Materials should be brought to school by September 1 st. If you have a recorder that s in good condition, you do not need to purchase a new one. Binders may be any color and do not need to be new. You will not need dividers or sheet protectors. Students first and last names must be clearly marked on all binders and recorders.
