SCOPE: This specification covers established manufacturing tolerances applicable to corrosion and heatresistant steel, iron alloy, titanium, and titanium alloy bars and wire. These tolerances apply to all conditions, unless otherwise noted. The term excl is used to apply only to the higher figure of the specified range. 2. STRAIGHTNESS: 4.1 Cold Finished: Bars shall be of such straightness that the maximum curvature (depth of arc) shall not exceed inch (1.56 mm) in any 5 feet (1500 mm) of length, but shall not exceed inch (1.04 mm) x length in feet (meters). 4.2 Hot Finished or Heat Treated: Unless otherwise ordered, bars shall be of such straightness that the maximum curvature (depth of arc) shall not exceed inch (3.13 mm) in any 5 feet (1500 mm) of length, but shall not exceed inch (2.08 mm) x length in feet (meters). 5. SPECIAL TOLERANCES: 5.1 Across Corners, Hexagons: The requirements shown in Table 11 apply to cold finished hexagons, when specified
