1 HLS Indy ~ Student Supply List Junior Kindergarten - 6th Grade Please bring your supplies on Meet the Teacher Day, Thursday, September 1st. Backpacks: Students may carry any style backpack (no character backpacks please). ART SUPPLIES will be requested throughout the school year. Jr. Kindergarten 1 Scissors: metal blade; blunt end 2 pencils 1 plastic - two pocket folder to bring back and forth to school 2 Glue sticks, dries clear *additional will be requested throughout the year 1 Crayons box of inch 3 ring binder with clear plastic overlay (front & back) 2 dry erase markers - thin tip black Please have students name marked on all supplies.

2 Kindergarten P.E. shoes: must be able to be tied on their own or close with velcro * Glue sticks: dries clear, qty. 2 * Liquid glue: 1 bottle Elmer s, No larger than 4 oz. size * Dry Erase markers: 2 broad tip and 1 thin tip; dark colors preferred * 6 - #2 pencils sharpened, 1- pencil grip (optional) * Crayons: 24 pack of Crayola * Colored pencils: 24 pack of Crayola *Keep a supply at home to replace as needed Scissors: metal blade; blunt end 1 Small pencil sharpener with reservoir to hold shavings Erasers: 2 large pink Index cards: 1 pkg. blank 3 x 5 cards (keep at home) 1- Plastic 2 pocket folder to bring back and forth to school 1 Old adult t-shirt to use for Art 1 thin bath towel for rest time One container of disinfecting wipes will be requested during the year.

3 1 st Grade P.E. shoes: must be able to be tied on their own or close with velcro *2 Glue sticks (preferably jumbo size): dries clear *1 SET Papermate 1.3 mm mechanical pencil packs (incl. 5 pencils, 2 eraser refills & lead refills Wal-Mart $2.77) *1 Red Grading pencil *2 Dry erase markers: thin tip; dark color (preferably black) *Keep a supply at home to replace as needed 1 Plastic 2 pocket folder (not Red) to carry papers to and from school each day (label with student name) 1 Small pencil sharpener with reservoir to hold shavings Crayons: 24 pack of Crayola Scissors: metal blade; pointed Colored pencils: 24 pack of Crayola Ruler: 12 inch wooden 2-Erasers: large pink or white 1-Small sock: for white board eraser
